Boy I’m so angry right now I don’t even know where to start. We have ordered delivery here twice. I understand that we are border line out of their delivery area but we have always taken care of the drivers. We tip about 50% and have ordered $ 50 worth of food each time. I think that’s better than most tips a driver can make in s 30 min drive. I got a call saying the driver wouldn’t deliver to us. The manager then hung up on me! Hung up the phone! Yes I was angry because I feel tipping a driver $ 25 to drive food to me is being more than generous. But I guess it’s not. I also called in my order at 6:30 and asked them to deliver after 8:00 so the driver wouldn’t have to run all over the place then try and deliver mine and have to go back to deliver more. Kind of like a «deliver when you can» no big deal. I think that’s reasonable. Now for the food. The food is ok. For the money it’s not worth it. We do it because we are like anyone else and on lazy nights it’s nice to have someone make and bring you food. If I had other options they would be my last choice. I’ve ordered their chicken Alfredo and my wife their spaghetti and marinara sauce. The marinara sauce taste like they got it from Costco. It’s the most bland and basic I’ve ever tasted but like I said we did it because we wanted to be lazy. My chicken Alfredo is food lion worthy. It wasn’t anything to be excited about. Portions for the money are way to small. Thank god we had extra bread at the house and drank a lot of water or we would have still been hungry. We aren’t over weight either. I will say their pizza is about the same as one of your other big box franchises that deliver. Again nothing to write home about. For their price I would call someone else. All in all if the manager wouldn’t have hung up on me I would have given this place about 3 stars but with management like that there is no telling what they are doing with the food. If you choose to eat there I would just keep my complaints to yourself unless you’ve already gotten your food. Good luck hope this helps.

I wrote a review for this place and was considering giving them another try but when I got on to see current reviews and mine is gone. My wife had pizza and said it was ok. The sauce tasted canned according to her. I had a «chicken parm» sub. It tasted like the toasted the bread but the rest was cooked in the microwave. It was really bland and the breading on the chicken was mush. I couldn’t even finish eating it. I wont go back, place didn’t look clean either and the booths were grimy and ripped. Not recommended!

Great hot wings, good salads, and yummy calzones. Have been several times and I am typically happy with their food and service. Just a small joint but good for a quick bite.

Pretty good Italian food being that it’s Mebane. My wife got a really good calzone and I got a really tasty pizza. Definitely the best option around the Outlet malls

The lasagna was uninspired but my steak stromboli was perfect. The lunch special included fries and I couldn’t finish it all. Great value!

Boyfriend and I came here for lunch. We both ordered the three topping calzone lunch special with salads. Nothing was bad, nothing was great either. For $ 15+tip, the price was right, but I would probably not come back and pay a little more elsewhere for a better calzone.

Great pizza, fresh ingredients, homemade salad dressings, and good lunch specials! A really good find in Mebane(very near the outlets)!

Their pizza is amazing. The ranch I dipped it in was even more amazing(it had little bits of dill in it. O.M.G.) I’ve also been here when the hubs was in the mood for pizza and I wasn’t so I ordered the Greek salad. I couldn’t believe how big of a portion it was, so I ended up taking it home.(Who takes home salads? You do when they give you half the garden). I only gave it 4 stars because this place could use some renovation. It seems a little cramped inside and the cushions in some of the booths are being held together with duct tape.

Took a little trip to Mebane to visit with someone and conduct some business with them. They were selling, I was buying. I asked for a dinner recommendation — they seem very pro«Italian» if we liked that sort of thing, and recommended a few places, with Roma’s being their second choice. We were seated in the table closest to the door and it was not a good location — we ate with our coats on. The atmosphere is that of a small mom & pop diner moreso than a pizza place. The woodgrain paneling was dark but only as high as the wainscoting. Above that the place brightened up a bit. If there’s a next time, I will avoid the calamari — it was very sub-par in my humble opinion, tasted very fishy and was not hand breaded, rather more like out of a box from the freezer. The pizza was okay, nothing really special. Kudos to the staff for allowing a substitution on their specialty pizza(nixed the black olives and substituted jalapeño peppers). Roma’s will do, but it won’t be my first choice when visiting Mebane.

Went for dinner with kids after Outlet shopping. Disappointed that I couldn’t get a glass of wine, but I got over that. I ordered the spinach and artichoke lavash wrap with fries. Lots of fresh spinach and it was good sized. Fries were crispy and not overly greasy. My wife got the vegetable calzone, and started with a salad. Homemade dressing on the salad was very good. Her calzone was quite large, in fact large enough that I got to finish it. The kids got a 14″ pepperoni pizza and the two of them finished it all(teenage boys — 13 and 16). They enjoyed it, but they will enjoy anything! Service was pleasant, but not overly speedy. We would probably go again if in the area.

Decent food(not great, but good) combined with fantastic lunch specials is a combination for a nice meal. Dinner prices at night are a tad higher, but not overly so. I’m a big fan of the pizzas, calzones, and subs. The pasta is pretty good. The salads are fairly uninspired.

Great chicken pesto pizza! You get great coupons at each visit so you never have to pay full price.

Very flexible with special orders. Quiet atmosphere. Friendly staff. Quality food. However, tendency to forget about customers(refills). Poor lighting. High level employee turnover.

I like Roma’s. I know it isn’t super fancy, but I always get great service here and the food I’ve ordered is good. I will say they are S-L-O-W, and when dining with a small child, this can make you want to tear your hair out. However, the staff is really attentive and friendly, and I think the orders just take a long time because it’s all made to order.

I have mixed emotions about this place but I am one to always try to find the good in any situation. To start off the service was very slow. Ordered the fried platter which included cheese fries and onion rings. It wasnt good at all. The menu stated that it has special seasoning but it lacked any«special» flavor. I also ordered the eggplant parmisan. It was the best I’ve had and full of flavor. Portion size was large enough to take some home. It comes with a greek salad and garlic bread. To say the least, I would return but just not during lunch rush time.

I actually enjoyed the food a lot here, and disagree with the statement that it’s either bland or uninspired. There’s a reason locals flock here. There are better dishes on the menu than others; the calzones are fantastic, as are the lavashes. Everything is fresh and made-to-order. Excellent place for lunch specials, and a bit quieter than some of the other places in town.

Been there twice, and very disappointed both times. The food was very bland and uninspired, the service just OK, and the décor pretty generic. There are two other, better Italian restaurants in Mebane: Pomodoro downtown, and Ciao Pizza near the Wal-Mart. Both are at least twice as good as Roma’s.
