I love this place! The owners are super sweet and patient. They have great hibachi meals, dinner and a show! Their sushi is pretty good too! We always get a Cali roll with jalapeño added. When you order hibachi and sushi, you will have plenty to take home. Idk how anyone could eat a whole two meat hibachi meal! There’s so much food! Everything is great.

We’ve been here twice now, and this place is legit. This is a quality hibachi restaurant with great sushi. Located conveniently just west of 75, the space is modern and comfortable. To my knowledge this is the best hibachi in Collin County. I can’t wait to go again with my bride!

I always have the hibachi grill when I go. Excellent good and service. I usually get the filet mignon & lobster. Both are tender & so flavorful. They do not skimp on ingredients. I’ve been for lunch & for dinner. The service is consistent & they bend over to make you happy. Try the shrimp cocktail, you won’t be sorry.

Overpriced 23 for a Hibachi lunch, food amount is tiny and taste very average at best. 9 dollar Panda express definately beats this. Guy on the phone doesnt speak Enlgish and just hung up on me, the lady took the wrong order, later blamed me for confirming the wrong item… Not going back for sure!!!

Incredibly slow service. Not sure who’s in charge here, but the food was brought out at snail pace. On the positive side, the food is fresh and tasty. Oh wait no! The steak was cold on the bento box. We’ll never mind. The sushi rolls were good and comparable to other places. I think that what’s happening here is a poor management issue and zero training for the staff, which was composed of one waitress. Poor girl was running around all stressed out. Our cold meat came back quickly. At least the microwave is working good. The bar counter chairs are in need of some TLC, but the rest of the place seems nice enough for the neighborhood. The volcano roll was weird. It was served on an aluminum foil boat thing. Not a plate, not a bowl. More like a folded up piece of aluminum foil. I’ve never seen volcano rolls served like that, but it made it harder to eat. It’s sad to see this place going down in quality. These are all easy fixes, but somebody needs to take the wheel and drive.

I’ve only gone here for sushi(not hibachi) and I love the food! Sushi always tastes fresh and I love the beef bento. I drink a lot of water and my glass is always kept full. Very happy to come here for food, but very sad that they never seem to be too packed during lunch. Really want them to stick around for my sushi needs!

Horrible customer service!!! The owner slash manager which she is not cuz she has no customer service skills and needs to move back to Japan! I showed up at 9:05 and they close at 10:00 and she stated they were closed which says 10:00 pm clearly on the door and said the chefs were done?! I said it’s only 9:05 and I’m ordering to go and she said we can’t. This place is a disgrace she has done this several times to other people stay away from this place and save your time and money!

This is our favorite sushi place in the metroplex. Great food… the specialty rolls are fantastic. Service can be a bit slow, so we sit at the bar unless we are having hibachi and want the entertainment.

Went based on Unilocal reviews, but I’m not sure it deserved 4 stars. Service was mediocre, I’ve seen better shows at shogun. Restaurant was plain and dark, presentation was standard, taste of food was good(just good, not great). Not a place I would rave about to others, but still would visit if I was limited in choices.

We went for mother’s day dinner. Had reservation for 8 at 6pm. Seated immediately which was nice. After a few minutes a server came by and took our drink order, except she skipped my husband… so when a different gal came by, who turned out to be our actual server, he ordered a drink from her. He did ask her a question about one drink and she said she didn’t know, she was new… We all placed our orders, and after about 10 minutes the grill chef came out. My sister in law asked for fried rice with no veggies… and he made everyone’s fried rice without the onion. kinda annoying. Standard hibachi show. Portion on veggies and meat was smaller than other places… the server forgot my steamed rice. had to ask the hibachi chef before he left our table to which he replied«the server brings it.» Right… but she didn’t.. And she hasn’t come back by. Finally i get my steamed rice halfway through meal. The biggest snafoo was at the end. Literally she disappeared when it was time to pay… then she got cards mixed up(there were 3 seperate checks) and then overcharged my brother. It could’ve gone a lot smoother at the end. I would go back if my family wanted to but wouldn’t pick this place over other hibachi places…

TERRIBLE! My daughter loves hibachi grill restaurants so this was for her on her birthday. We came for an early dinner where we were seated at our own table in a corner. This seemed fine as the restaurant was slow and nearly empty. The service was extremely slow but this didn’t seem like such a big deal as we knew the chef would be the highlight of the meal. A chef came out, cooked the food, said thank you and moved on. We were stunned as my daughter loves the interaction and entertainment from a hibachi grill. I mean, don’t we all??? That’s the point of the concept. I notified the waitress about it being my daughter’s birthday and assumed the chefs just didn’t entertain. Yet another disappointment as nothing was done for her birthday. We then sat for nearly 30 – 40 minutes before the waitstaff checked on the table, refilled drinks, or asked for deserts or anything! Mind you, the restaurant was still very slow(3 tables total counting ours). To my dismay, I look over to the other tables, all adults, and the chefs are entertaining and interacting with the customers. Needless to say, we were very upset. Since the waitstaff was not available much, I had to stand up and wave the waitress over. Upon coming over, I reiterated it was my daughter’s birthday. Assuming the waitress forgot, misheard me, or didn’t understand. I also asked about the entertainment piece. She called over the manager/owner who then informed me «well you need to request what chef you want. It is not up to me to tell them to entertain at the table». WHAT!!! YOUARETHEMANAGER/OWNER ANDYOUCAN’T TELLYOUREMPLOYEESWHATTODO??? I say owner/manager as she would not clarify which she was. They then begrudgingly sang happy birthday to my daughter and reminded me that when I return, I request a specific chef. AREYOUKIDDING??? WHEN I RETURN? WORST. HIBACHIRESTAURANT. EVER!!! The irony is I have waited a month before writing this review. I wanted to be fair and write a review with a clear and calm mind. But even having to rehash that memory gets me going as it was flat out upsetting and disgusting. Rude. Slow. Overpriced. Nothing at this location is worth returning for.

Delicious edamame and seaweed salad. good portions for lunchtime and we had very good service. No real kids options on the lunch menu but both shared with mommy and daddy and were fine with it. We’ll be back.

We had a good dinner here although there were a few things that weren’t great. As someone else stated on this site, the soup tasted a little like chlorine. I took one sip of the soup but skipped the rest. The ginger salad was really good and the adults enjoyed it. When it came time to the cooking part of the dinner, the chef was nice, confirmed our orders and the food tasted good but it was lacking a bit of the«show» we came(and paid good money) for. The chicken was ok, but the scallops were excellent. The chef showed up, cooked the food and got the heck out of there. No razzle dazzle, no interest in the kids at the table, no interaction. Bah humbug. Our waitress was attentive to drinks and very friendly and on the ball. A+ for her part. We didn’t order any sushi, but the other party at the table did and it looked excellent. We would come back to try the sushi but probably pass on the hibachi.

If you’re smart about what you order it can still be affordable, but they do have some roll options on their menu that are very expensive for a small portion size! We did the nigiri platter and ended up with a sushi roll(spicy tuna) and a selection of nigiri. Splitting it between my husband and I we were actually full before we finished the plate and our friend ended up finishing it since his roll was smaller but he’d already spent $ 12 on it! Beer can be expensive here so watch out and ask before you just order blindly, we were a little surprised that our shiners were over $ 5 a beer and we had enjoyed quite a few. The service was great though! As long as you’re careful with ordering it can be a delicious and affordable night out!

The food was acceptable but could be improved. My salad had so much dressing you could drink it out of the bowl after eating salad. The filet was not that flavorful and the shrimp was very fishy tasting which could have contributed to the upset stomach afterwards. The service was very attentive and friendly. Overall this place seems to be very basic and simple so it would be good for families. It is spacious and can accommodate groups but there are much better Hibachi places around!

Like Jessica S. I thought the interior was tired and a little threadbare. Will someone please tell me how Rangers baseball on the centrally located TV is intended to enhance my sushi experience. Perhaps the TV was front and center to entertain bored employees or maybe to distract customers from the cream cheese roll mis-labled as the«Yummy-Yummy» roll. Wanted two glasses of Sake. Not available, had to buy a bottle so I opted for a beer. How can you not have a couple of glasses not available in a sushi restaurant ? Including tip, spent $ 57 for two. Won’t be back
