This bar is sad and the workers weren’t friendly. The bartenders were very aggressive with sales to the point that it made me uncomfortable. Also, we paid to play a game of pool and had just finished our drinks. To continue playing, we were told to order something immediately. Their aggressive sales will only drive customers away. Testas is desolate for a reason.

Went there with a pool team to play a match, and asked for a draft beer, thinking it was cheaper, they charged me $ 3.75, wow, I only had one more. I usually drink at least 6 beers, but at those prices I got gun shy. Now I know why when I go by the lot is empty. At those prices with no entertainment they should lower the prices. Never will go there again.

Met a couple girlfriends there last year for happy hour. We ordered a bunch of half priced apps and were disappointed to discover that they served us half the size of the regular apps. So instead of 6 mozzarella sticks we got 3, a half plate of nachos, 2 potato skins, each on separate plates. Seriously, what business in the world would advertise half priced appetizers & only serve half of an appetizer? What a rip off. Also the food was clearly reheated frozen food, not that good. Never went back.

Went for the first time on Tuesday night was excited because they had tacos and buy one get one apps. The apps where okay had nachos and sampler. Sampler was skimpy nachos where good the taco didn’t really taste like they had enough seasoning and they had know sour cream on TACO night come on. The bar tender was great very persistent and friendly.

Nice bar to catch the game. It is rather small but nice. Only been here a couple times but enjoyed it everytime. The food is delicious and the service is great.

Too high prices and owner thinks he’s gods gift. Not worth it. DJ on Fridays is good

My husband and I stay in a campground in Mays Landing during summer weekends. Unfortunately, our campground only has DirecTV, so sometimes we miss Phillies games. We decided to check out Testa’s last night and watch the game, have a few beers and grab a bite. The bar itself wasn’t bad. It was really clean, and the bartenders and waitresses were extremely friendly and welcoming. It looks like they have great specials all week long, which I always like to see. My husband and I ordered the appetizer combo to share. I saw an «insane» sauce on the menu, so I asked for some on the side to try with the wings(and everything else). The food itself wasn’t bad, typical bar Munchies. We were a little confused as to why there was only 1 potato skin tough. That was a little strange. I mean, people usually order appetizer combos to share. And it’s tough to share just 1 potato skin. The wings were pretty good though. Next time I’ll probably just get a full order of wings. And the«insane» sauce was delicious. I didn’t find it to be as hot as it was hyped up to be, but it’s tough to burn me too badly with hot sauces. The important thing was, it tasted really good. You could definitely tell it was house made, and it really tasted like they threw some habanero peppers in the blender with a little vinegar and that was it. They get their 3rd star just on the hot sauce. I could have done without the music that was being played. The crowd was pretty mixed, but probably no one younger than 25 or 26. However, the music was really for a much younger crowd. It was a mix of some of the worst hip hop I’ve heard in the last 5 years. My husband and I might have stuck around a little longer, but we couldn’t take the music anymore.

Took forever to get a watered down margarita, as the bartender seemed too busy chatting up some girls(who didn’t look old enough to be served btw). The food is about cafeteria quality. Unless you just want to sit around and drink beer(when you can get the bartender’s attention) skip it and go elsewhere. Plenty of better places around.

I just moved to this town(althought it is my husband’s home town) and I feel like the wife on Green Acres. Anyway, I come to Testas and it’s a great place — NFL ticket — a bunch of TV’s — pool table — music — and nice patrons and bartenders who will talk to us when they’re not too busy. Clean, good beer, and the food looks great but I haven’t eaten here yet. They always have specials written on a board — and happy hours most weekdays from 4:30. I have only been here in the late afternoon so I can’t say how it is on the weekend nights. If no one can find me I’m usually there.

Not a bad bar, the bar tender was friendly and energetic, the food smelled good though we did not partake. The crowd on a late night Saturday was 30 something crowd and there was a DJ playing old hip hop too loud. The atmosphere may have not been my kind of thing but it was not a bad place. Probably quieter on off peek hours. Price were cheap for peak hours though, 2.50 a pint is nice.
