Beware, we found hair in our California Burger, GROSS! Then, when the manager came by, he said we wouldn’t be charged for the replacement. REALLY!!! Taco salad had 4 tortilla chips instead of taco bowl. Not enough nacho chips with the nachos and fish dinner was sad. Floors were sticky. Overall, very disappointing

I have been going to zebb’s for many years. I’ve never had a bad meal. Burgers are great and specialty salads are awesome. They have so many different burgers to choose from. The wings there are very good too. Prices are reasonable also. We have had many different servers and they all have been good. The only knock is the cleanliness of the dining area. The floors are always dirty and greasy. The decorations are old and dusty. This place just needs a deep cleaning and some updating.

This place is good, love the burgers.
Only complaint is that the service is a bit slower than most places.

I like the food. I like the setting. But it’s just too dirty. It says they’ve been serving the Cadillac Nachos for 30 years — that’s good they are tasty! But the blinds in the bar and the paint also appears 30 years old. That’s bad! Hint.
… Buy some! They are just so nasty! And if the customer service area is that filthy what is the out of sight kitchen like? Too bad because I like their food.

Zebbs is a descent place for American food. The Zebb original wings are what I usually get because they are awesome. I’m not a sweets person but the homemade cookies are awesome too. The brownie inside the cookie… yeah get it.

This diner is tucked away at the back of a large car park and shops and is well worth trying to find. The Diner is nothing much to look at from outside but opens up to be a collection of interesting memorabilia and a trendy interior.
We were served by Pete (a great asset to the restaurant) who welcomed us with some witty repartee.
Would recommend the ‘fall of the bone’ rack of ribs and the A1 burger, both of which were cooked to perfection.
If you have enough space left try the pumpkin cheesecake (huge serving!)

Good service and the Buffalo Burger had a little kick, the fries were good. The Burger Topping Bar is a nice way to put the finishing touches on your Burger.

Nice people, good food, good service. I’ve been here several times and haven’t had a bad experience. They have 5 dollar apps at a certain time.

Zebb’s is all-​American burgers done right. And though hamburgers are their specialty, the diner-​styled menu has something for everyone.
You can find Zebb’s in an unassuming strip-​small in Mattydale. When you walk in, you’re transported to the 50s via the 80s (when Greaser-​culture throwback was en vogue). A neon-​light glow reflects off the polished chrome and checkered tile floor. Top 40 tunes of yesteryear hum under the din of a diner kitchen at full tilt, and the chatter of patrons.
Zebb’s tasty food starts with the quality and freshness of its ingredients. The diner boasts their never frozen, in-​house ground steak burger patties. Made to order, the result is a remarkably pure beef experience: juicy, flavorful, and tender. Their baseline burger is served 7−16oz on a toasted bun, with a side of Syracuse’s best fries, cut fresh from potatoes on-​site. From there, you can order a litany of hot toppings for your burger, or take your naked sandwich up to the toppings bar to dress it to your tastes (lettuce, tomato, pico de gallo, and more). I always help myself to several spoonfuls of their homemade hot hickory BBQ sauce for dipping my burger and fries.
So, if you’ve made it through this review to here without salivating profusely, then burgers must not be for you. And that’s ok, since the menu offers a broad variety of diner-​styled items. Their salads and finger foods are generous (the Tex Mex is my personal favorite). Not to mention, no trip should end without their delicious malts or fresh-​baked chocolate chip cookies.

Delicious, fun atmosphere, good for kids. There are always leftovers but they are even delicious the next day! Everything is fresh and homemade tasting! Delicious burgers and chocolate chip cookies!

We ate there today for the first time and the food was wonderful! We had a jalapeño burger and fries. They offered gravy on the fries and they were delicious! The service was great and the atmosphere was a lot of fun! We will be back!

I have gone to zebbs for years I will never go back! My last few visits have been the worst !! Our drinks sat at the bar close to 15 mins. She basically threw the food at us. Set our check down didn’t ask if we needed anything else. This has been like this the past few times we were there. Service sucks!!!

I like Zebb’s a lot. Good go-​to place on a snap decision. Atmosphere is perfect and I love the indoor umbrellas and the bar area. Even the tiny arcade is good for kids to enjoy. I like to go here after events and get a drink with friends. Very nice place, everything is clean and the staff is friendly and good. Grab a cookie on the way out, they’re good. I’ll be coming here for years to come!

Really like the Loaded Fry Burger. Juuust a little on the pricy side. Especially if you want to add some things to the burger like pepper jack cheese. Love the topping bar, though. Saves confusion.

Can be great and not do good, I can’t figure this place out. I’ve b had some awesome meals here and some terrible ones too. To the point we were all sick after eating here
Highlights are the burgers and shakes. Some like the fries, but not me they are typical soggy I. prefer crisp.

Very good. Exactly what i had expected. The milk shake was delicious. The burgers good and the beer cold.
Good place for the kids too. My wife and I brought 4 kids ranging from 4 to 12 years old. All had a good time.

Food is ok, but staff seems to have a lot of time on their hands. Not very busy for a sunny Saturday afternoon, yet we waited 10 minutes for a waiter, 20 minutes for our burgers, and another 10 minutes for the check. Not on my return list. The original Zebbs (and the owners) was a completely different atmosphere.

I used to love Zebb’s so much. Nowadays the atmosphere is the same as it always was, fun, frenetic and colorful but the food quality has gone down significantly since they got bought out.

Here’s what to expect when you go to Zebb’s. Tons of crazy crap on the walls, a large menu to choose from and a really cool «burger bar» with tons of toppings for the various meals you can get there. It’s really a fun environment to hang out in and they have great drink specials. The servers are generally happy and take care of you well enough.
The food… I give it a resounding «meh». Back in the day the «Zebb’s Original Wings» were so good they brought nations to their knees. The sauce is a mixture of hot sauce, bleu cheese, garlic and a secret mixture of spices. I ate roughly a metric ton over the years I went there. Then some years ago Zebb’s got bought out by some larger company (out of Rochester I think) and changed things. The Zebb’s wings are still there but they clearly modified the recipe or at least the skimp on the sauce. Most of the food is obviously SYSCO brand stuff that was frozen and heated. One exception is the burgers which are pretty solid. The wings are passable too if you set low expectations.
Also it’s in the same plaza as a K-​Mart and a popular porn store (Salt City Book & Video) so maybe don’t walk there alone.
Overall Zebb’s has ok food and is a fun place to hang out and have some wings and beers with friends.
