Closed. Never recovered from the Café 34 scandal that forced the owner to change business models. Hopefully he learned a valuable lesson in business. A deceitful businessman is only cheating himself from success.

Went here on a Monday for my birthday. We were one of only two tables, a few at the bar. Food was ok, some better than others. Fresh mozzarella was almost too fresh as it was semi-liquid in middle. Scallops were pretty good. Vodka sauce excellent. Daughter’s spaghetti and meatballs pretty good. My only issue with food was the pasta for both spaghetti and vodka sauce was too al dente. I don’t like mushy pasta but this was too chewy. Way undercooked. Service was spotty. Waitress was sweet but kept screwing up our drink orders. I ordered a sangria and she brought me out zinfandel. Fiancé ordered soda and she brought him ice. It was ok, but there are better Italian places out there. I won’t return, fiancé liked it better and said he would.

Really enjoyed the service from the bartender. Scallops were tender and the gluten pizza was spot on. Glad we found this local spot since its so close to our home. The stuffed artichokes were great as well.

First time here since It became Avanti from Café 34. Decent food. My son ordered Rigatoni and they serve Penne — big problem in a self proclaim pasta and pizza joint. I ordered from the special menu. Ribeye is tender but a little over cooked for me which I like it medium. Over all decent nothing spectacular.

Great brick oven pizza. ANDGREATGLUTENFREEBRICKOVENPIZZA. Kids loved the Italian Wedding soup – great meatballs. Will definitely come back for the risotto(which is of course gluten free). Super nice waitress.

There was marshmallow on my Bella pizza which is a dinner pizza. The spinach on top of the pizza also tasted frozen. Elios pizza may be better than an Italian restaurant justifying serving marshmallow on a dinner pizza. Gross! The manager seemed not too concerned, aloof.

My husband and I had dinner here for Valentines. We haven’t been here since it was Café 34. It was crowded and very loud but we made a reservation and were seated right away. Our waitress took a while to take our order. We mainly went because they offer gluten free food options. Unfortunately there isn’t a gluten free menu. My server basically used common sense on what dishes«probably» didn’t have gluten. It didn’t make me feel all that confident. I ordered a chicken dish that was grilled it was good and did end up being gluten free. They only have mash potatoes no roasted or baked ugh. My husband liked his pasta dish. The prices are fair. Overall they could have got 5 stars if they had a specific gluten free menu, better service, and some sound proofing… and roasted potatoes.

My boyfriend and I tried this place since it’s new and very close to our house. All in all it was a pleasant experience. Michelle was our server and she greeted us with an apology thinking she had taken too long to get to us which she actually hadnt. We ordered the stuffed oysters which were on the specials menu and they were delicious! I ordered the scallop dish(titled pan scotatto capesante on the menu) which cane with spinach and red mashed potatoes and my boyfriend ordered the veal saltimboca which was veal and red mash. It was the right amount of food for us which was nice since many restaurants have large plates you could mostly split between two people. The only negative for me was how loud the restaurant was(it was a busy Friday night) and the entrée prices were a bit high but everything tasted great. We had dinner and apps in under an hour. We’ll be trying this place again!

Went to Avanti for the first time since the renovation and it was excellent. The owners came over to our table several times to make sure we were satisfied with everything. The hospitality was perfect, they cared but weren’t annoyingly coming over too much. Great wine list, Chilean sea bass was awesome and desserts wet great. We also tried their traditional brick oven pie with prosciutto do Parma on top and it was devoured by all four of us, fighting for the last slice. If you want a great, friendly place with excellent food, Avanti is the place. Nothing in the area compares.

It has a lot of potential. We stopped in for a dinner with some friends after having seen the recent remodel/re-branding and were anxious to give it a try. You can tell that they’re still working out many of the kinks, but that’s expected from a newer restaurant. The prices are pretty reasonably and the menu offers a lot of options. We each ordered something different and all were reasonably happy with the food. I had the Avanti Fruitti di Mare and my wife had one of the pizzas. Surprisingly the seafood portion was larger than the pasta. It was flavorful and cooked nicely. My wife’s pizza was pretty decent and nicely done. The only issues we encountered were an extended wait since they made the wrong pizza and we were a bit surprised not to get the typical bread to go along with the pasta. Otherwise, we are looking forward to giving it another shot. The location is fairly decent and there is plenty of parking so it’s a good spot to try out.

Great food and a very inviting atmosphere. Pizza in the brick oven is outstanding and the pasta dishes were great as well. Also, the wine list is very good for a local place. Try the Meiomi Pinot noir.
