I am really impressed with the customer service! I have been here several times and you would think they all own the place! Great food. Great atmosphere!

It’s a bar. They make the food very salty so you drink more. Leave your kids and heart disease at home– they are not suitable here. Fish is thin and salty. Chips are salty and salty. Chicken is delicious.

I was here for a Paint Nite event. The place is located in a strip mall and the outside isn’t the most appealing but there is plenty of parking. Our waitress was fantastic! She was friendly, nice and quick. We ordered a drink that was rum, pineapple juice and some other blue stuff. I forget name but it was delicious and dangerous because it was sweet and easy to get down. My friends and I shared pub chips and boneless wings. The pub chips were a miss! Way too much salt on them! We couldn’t finish them because of how salty they were. Also they weren’t friend crisp enough for my liking. The boneless wings were fresh, juicy and flavorful. I’d definitely get them again. There wasn’t much to this place and I probably wouldn’t go back but if I did I’d definitely get the drink and boneless wings.

I love love their chicken strips! They are the best. So juicy and tender. I normally don’t order chicken cause I’m picky and dissect it. This had no tendons, veins, it was perfect white near. Their potato soup is glorious. It’s not a place for dinner as it is a bar so it gets quite noisy. But two thumbs up for the food. Oh yeah and they make all their sauces but the BBQ sauce…

What a fun place! Went here to see one of our favorite bands on Saturday night and it rocked! Really LOVE the décor… swanky leather curved seating, hi-tops, large bar area and hip lighting. The dance floor could be larger and is off centered but hey, they had to put the bathrooms somewhere. Overall the place makes good use of their space. This was our first visit to Mason Pub and Grill. While we didn’t know anyone else, we found the varied group of patrons(from hipsters to older couples) quite friendly and fun. They do have a pool table and dart games as well. Their menu is typical for a pub and grill … Sandwiches, burgers, salads, appetizers and wings. Their bbq boneless wings were very saucy and delicious. The chili cheese fries were loaded up and while it isn’t my thing, my friends thought it was average tasting. Our waitress kept coming back to check on us which can sometimes be hard to find in a pub. Overall a solid 4 star place in my book for the atmosphere, service, wings and Smirnoff.

I would have given this place 4 stars if the service was better. I went here with some friends who know people in the band playing that night. I read they had fried pickles so of course I was stoked! Beer batters spicy pickle spears. Pretty tasty! The ranch to dip in was awesome. My friend ordered chicken strips OMG! THEBESTCHICKENSTRIPSEVER! coating was great huge juicy chicken. LOVE it! No one was waiting the tables. We had to go to the bar and ask for menus and after 30 minutes wave her down to take our orders. I asked for an Old Fashioned, she said they came pre-packaged. She had no clue it was a drink. Food came before our drink order. I went to the bar and said if she couldn’t make an Old Fashioned and rum and coke is fine. They ended up looking up with recipe for the drink and gave me 2(one free, but she put orange slices in a whiskey drink — yuck) If I went back I would order the chicken strips — delish!

I was here for paintnite so I can only attest to the food. We had a burger that was big and juicy. The waitress was nice and I enjoyed the atmosphere inside. Good value for the food as well. I’m not a big bar person, but I’d definitely return for food if I happen to pass through mason again.

Seems like a nice place on the outside but once you enter its a different story. The place was full of douche bags and drama queens. The waitress was over worked since she was the only one, and came off rude at first. She was nice after she got her tip. The food sucked. The king hippo sandwich was OK, the French fries were still cold when served. The drinks were poorly made, overpoured and over priced. You know what they say about first impressions, and last night was not a good one. There’s better places to visit and get a drink.

This place is awesome. Great food and the owners and staff were the nicest people I have meet since moving to this area. Stephanie makes the best soup. I want to volunteer just to learn from her. We highly recommend it and hope everyone tries it once and that will be enough for you to tell everyone like we are.

I’ve been to Mason Pub a couple of times. This bar is your typical sports bar, very causal and laid back. They have a band on the weekend a with a $ 5 cover charge after 9. The food is fairly good, not super cheap but not expensive either. My favorite part about this bar is the band and dancing on the weekends. They also serve Amber Bock, which gives them another star on this review.

Ladies: do not use the restrooms unless absolutely necessary. I have been to this establishment multiple times over a long period of time and they are never clean, bathrooms smell is horrible, toilets are sometimes broken and the bathroom space is minuscule. I used to go to Mason pub more frequently, but within the past few years it seems to have cleared out– Friday and Saturday nights aren’t nearly as fun or as busy as they used to be. I was there a month ago and a friend and I ordered some food: it came out quickly and tasted alright(bar food is bar food) but in my opinion was overpriced for the quantity. Oh, and there is a $ 10 minimum for their bar, unless you pay cash. It’s not hard to exceed $ 10 there when out for the night, but there is something annoying about being told you have to order x amount instead of just assuming the guest would make their trip to your bar worthwhile. Would go(and will go) back because of the decent DJ and because of its proximity to my house.

Went to Mason Pub last night… disappointed. The house band, Off the Hook, used to be good when they were at Jags. And they charged a $ 10PERPERSON cover… NOTWORTHIT!!. Can’t comment on the food. didn’t eat. Drinks were ok… had to get our own first round before the wait staff found us. Might be a good place to drink a beer with the guys and watch the game. It’s really a neighborhood, pool and darts place not a Saturday night out on the town dancing/listening to a good band place. Probably won’t go back.

They just opened thier new kitchen and the food is great. Tried the huge chicken wings and had an excellent flavor and quality to them. Also had the burger before which was very juicy!

Neat place to get your drink on. Was kind of dead on a Saturday night. Thought there would be a lot more people there. Music is not to loud so you can hold coversations with your friends and there is also a dance floor so you can get out and dance if you feel so inclined. Two pool tables near the front offer something else to do while you are out drinking with friends.

I’ve only been to Mason Pub a few times, but I’ve never really had a bad time there. If you live close, it’s worth stopping in for a drink every once in a while. I’ve never had their food, so I can’t really comment on that. The interior is pretty standard if you’ve ever been to a decently nice suburban bar. They have Karaōke on Wednesdays, though I’ve never seen it particularly crowded. That could be a good thing, because you don’t really have to wait if you want to sing. They also serve giant mason jars full of beer on Wednesdays for $ 4.00, which is a good deal for the amount you get. They also have a different drink special for every night. I usually come here the night before Thanksgiving. Brazenhead is always ridiculously packed to the point where you can’t get to any of the bars. In addition to this, they charge a cover. Mason Pub is across the street, and is usually busy, but not uncomfortably so.

Mason Pub appears confused to me. It is called a pub, yet there is a lifeguard chair, surfboard, and other beach themed items throughout. I have been here 3 times now and was less than impressed, even for Mason bar standards. It is a good place to grab a drink and I appreciate that there is plenty of seating, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to go there. The bartenders are friendly but the same cannot be said for the bouncers. We went the night before Thanksgiving with some friends and were excited about a promotion; order a Sam Adams Winter Lager and you get to keep the glass. NOT! There were signs all over advertising this, yet they took our glasses. The bouncer got extremely rude with my fiancé and friends when they pointed out the signs advertising the promotion. Did I really need a Sam Adams glass? No. Do I expect a bar to uphold their end of a deal? Yes. I was also very excited to see that the bar had a popcorn machine, but they never refilled it. Perhaps this was just because they were crowded, but who knows. The drink prices are very reasonable and the selection is just what you would expect. On some nights they have a Mason Jar special(get it?) and it is a good bargain. Mason Jars hold a surprising amount of beer! In the end, I would go back if I wanted to grab a drink close by. However, if I had time I would drive elsewhere.
