Been going here for years. Food has always been good to great. Sushi has gone down a bit from the good old days when sushi mike used to be behind the sushi bar. It is still solid and can hold its own in price and quality.

This is a quiet little place with decent food and reasonable prices. I’ve attended only a few times over lunch. The service is decent but a little slow. With the décor and atmosphere, though, this is appropriate and is a sit down restaurant where you get to enjoy conversation with friends and not feel like you’re being rushed out. The restaurant and bathrooms are clean. The décor is trendy and the size of the restaurant is actually quite large. There is small seating at the bar and also a nice patio area which I haven’t been lucky enough to visit yet. The menu has a wide variety of appetizers, sushi and entrees and is vegetarian-friendly. They also offer thai teas which are pretty damn refreshing. Arloi Dee would be best-suited for lunch or dinner during the week. I’ve never seen it crowded when I’ve visited. I’ve heard they occasionally have salsa dancing or other attractions(live music/karaōke) on the weekend.

I’ve hear great reviews of this place, from multiple liars. Tastes about the same as a box meal from the grocery. The sushi… Just don’t. Warm lifeless and of poor color. Two vista were four too many. Go around the corner to: Phonecian — Mediterranean Sezuan bistro — Chinese Sura — Korean All of which are 100 times better. If you need Thai, and can deal with the slow service, go to banana leaf in mason.

Food was ok, but took forever to come out. Place not even packed on a Fri nite, but service was iffy. We ordered fried rice when food came out to add to our order, but they brought fried rice after we were finished eating the rest of the meal. For the entrée price, I would have expected better service. Food was nothing extraordinary.

The food was decent, but that’s where the praise stops. We had a group of 7 on a slow Friday night and 4 meals came out 45 min after ordering, followed by the 5th meal 5 min after that, then 6th and 7th meals came 15 minutes after that. The manager cited staffing issue and«needing to make a living» so he sent the server back with a less-than-gracious 10% discount. Heated negotiations then yielded a pitiful15% discount. In total, we waited over an hour for our food on a very slow Friday night and it was another full hour before we were able to leave. Again, decent food, absolutely unacceptable service.

I was intrigued with the Shrimp and Crab Dumpling Noodle as it had won an award called«The Best Damn Dish 2012» from the Taste of Cincinnati food competition. It was quite good, the dumplings were excellent. Our table also got the Chicken Lettuce Wraps appetizer, it was a large portion that had no trouble feeding 4 people(good taste as well). Everyone I was with enjoyed what they got for lunch. My only complaint is that the egg drop soup sucked. Really bad. Very surprising because I’ve had good egg drop soup at so many different restaurants, but this was the only thing they dropped the ball on. Everything else was excellent.

Having many friends who are Thai(and whose parent’s own Thai Restaurants), I quite excited to find a Thai restaurant close to where I work in Mason. Unfortunately Arloi wasn’t as authentic as I was expected but not a disappointment either. The location is very convenient, right off of Mason Montgomery Rd, and has a nice building beautiful landscaping and an outdoor seating area. Arloi’s has the normal Pad Thai dishes, Thai Sushi and Thai curries, but also has some Japanese food on the menu. If you are looking for a run of the mill Thai restaurant in Mason, Arloi Dee’s will fit the bill. However if you seek something more authentic, you should look elsewhere.

Wasn’t expecting much, but we were pleasantly surprised! Lettuce wraps appetizers were awesome. Pad Thai w/shrimp was really tasty, as was the pineapple fried rice. Red curry chicken, however was not good. No curry flavor. They substituted chili oil for heat. Very strange and we almost sent it back.

I’ve been here on at least three occasions. On each of those occasions, the service has been incredibly slow, even when there were no other customers in the place. There were wait staff, but no one else. Their pad thai was oily and too sweet. Their spring roll was not bad, but the sauce wasn’t good. The only reason I go back is because they are one of only a few Thai restaurants near their location in Mason. I recommend going to the other places.

I love the pad Thai, and the ginger chicken has huge strips of fresh ginger all through the dish. The Tom Kha soup(coconut milk, lemongrass, cilantro, mushroom and lime juice) is heavenly; I get cravings for it! A cup of soup and their Grand Mom Fried Rice makes a great lunch. We almost always get carry out.

We were at the Taste of Cincinnati and saw that Arloi Dee had won two«Best of taste» awards: sweet and sour shrimp, and chicken lettuce cups. We walked the entire«Taste», forgoing all sorts of good-looking food, just so we could save room for these«winners». I got the shrimp, my husband got the lettuce cups. The shrimp had that evil looking neon orange sauce on it, and it tasted just like the stuff you get at a Chinese buffet. THe lettuce cups? Nothing to write home about. Ok, but the pizza we had from Magic Mushroom was far better. HOW did they win Best of Taste? Who do they know? Based on these two dishes, I wouldn’t make the trip to the actual restaurant.

I went in for lunch around 11am on a weekday with a coworker. We were the only ones in the restaurant when we were seated, but many tables were occupied by the time we left. The service was just fine. The waiter was generally available and the food came out pretty quickly. My biggest problem with Arloi Dee is the food. I ordered the shrimp Pad Thai– the noodles were gummy and cold, and there was a plastic aftertaste. No thank you! I had a decent amount of food leftover that I chose not to take home, and I generally love leftovers. I have no plans to return to Arloi Dee Thai. There are better Thai options in Cincinnati!

So, I can’t really comment on the food because I never received it. Went in for lunch at noon on a Thursday. It sounds like it was relatively busy for them since there appeared to be 6 – 7 other tables. I was seated and sat for 10 – 15 minutes without one person even coming to ask me about what I wanted to drink. I saw one customer get up with his cup looking to find someone to refill his drink. Finally, I saw other people seated long after me who were asked about drinks and orders before me. So, I got fed up and left. Went around the corner to the Chinese place(not naming it purposely), was seated immediately, and received my food, all in less time than I was sitting at Arloi Dee waiting. Horrible service. Will not try again

Arloi Dee Thai was discovered during our team’s Friday lunches.(Every Friday, as a team, we go out for lunch) This restaurant has a patio with a pond and fountain which I guess would be pretty nice in spring-summer time. If you can, get the guy with the moppy haircut as the waiter. He has good knowledge of dishes and is a real customer service guy. First time I went here, I ordered a traditional Thai dish, red curry with chicken. The dish did not have much flavor even though I ordered it spicy. I was not impressed. Second time around, I ordered a Chinese dish, Holy Basil chicken. I did this on the advice of the moppy haircut guy. This dish comes in a authentic-looking metallic pot, on a wooden board since the dish is served really hot. I put a spoon of this into my mouth and … holy frickin god! It is devilishly spicy and flavorful. Praise be to the knowledgeable waiter. They have some nice teas here, which are another draw. Jasmine Tea!

Their food is good, but service is below average. We used to go here frequently for lunch, but stopped going for a long time, almost two years. We have been here twice in the last few months. The first time was a late lunch, almost 1pm. It took almost 30 minutes to get our food. The food is very good and it’s a great location. It has such great potential to be a fantastic restaurant but they consistently disappoint with the inattentive service and the long wait to receive food. If you want good Thai food and have plenty of time to kill while you wait for it, this is the place for you; if, however, you expect to go out for lunch during the week and return to your office within an hour of leaving, you’re taking a big risk.

As my friends well know, I have a severe weakness for Thai food. Ever since I ate it in New York, it’s like a bad addiction. A bad, but good addiction. I’ve read a couple reviews on here and decided to finally hit this place up, I was so glad I did! First off, I asked for a Thai Iced Coffee which was like a twin to the one I had in New York! It was absolutely amazing! The Pad Thai was good, a little different representation than I was used to but still wonderful! The service was wonderful! Everyone there was as sweet as sugar! :) I cannot wait for my next excursion there!

I’ve eaten at Arloi Dee on numerous occasions over the years. It is conveniently located near my former office and not terribly far from where I live… much more convenient for parking than the the better Thai establishments in the Hyde Par/Near area. Arloi Dee is a solid performer foodwise, but can be hit or miss on service… even when you’re the only table. I typically tend to get a few dishes here, all vegetarian, of course. Orignally, I would always get the bean curd delight, a typical tofu dish with veggies and brown sauce(this could be Thai or Chinese or some other generic Asian dish). A solid performer in taste, it’s still a go-to favorite, especially for lunch, If you go during lunch you get your lunch entrée and a choice of soup or salad, Miso soup is an extra charge. My favorite dish from here is the red curry, but it isn’t offered on the lunch menu(although you can order it for the dinner price.) I’ve tried the spicy green tofu(very spicy) and the Thai style eggplant(tons of eggplant.) All are quite tasty. My one friend that I typically go with, always orders the chicken pad thai and says that it is very good. I also ordered a tofu noodle dish and it was pretty good too. The nice thing about Arloi Dee is that they have a decent sized parking lot and a very roomy interior. They also have a nice patio. Because of the size both inside and out, they have enough space to easily accommodate large groups.

I remember eating at a place called Arloi Dee down on 6th Street when I lived downtown in the late 90s/early 00s. Dunno’ if this is the same owners or not. The Mason location is ginormous, I seriously cannot see how this place can afford the overhead with so many new, decent competitive Thai offerings that have moved into the area. but hey, that’s their problem. As for the food… well… it’s ok. Nothing to write home about actually. I can’t say that anything really stood out on the menu as being spectacular. It was the normal Cincinnati rendition of Thai food. I ate there recently during a timewhen it was pretty slow… in fact, there were like 2 other tables in the whole place. Which begs to the question, «If there’s 3 servers and 3 tables, then why is service so slow?» Not just slow… but like… grinding to a halt. Wait staff simply disappeared and didn’t reappear for any reason unless to expedite food to our table. No drink refills, etc… Terrible. I tipped accordingly as well. If you’re going to be absent, then don’t wonder why your tip is absent. I am normally a generous tipper, but this was so egregious that I was simply unwilling to part with even a token. I’d go back, but it’s not one of those destination places that I’m going to plan on hitting with regularity.

Oh I love this place! You must must have the peanut sauce salad. This alone keeps me coming back for more. But while you are at it, try the tofu todd, or the veggies tempura. My husband loved the spicy lemongrass soup and couldn’t stop talking about it. I have had pretty much all of the vegetable dishes but the spicy green bean is my favorite. It burns my face off and makes me weep tears of joy. My husband gets the Phad Thai almost every time and it is quite good but I dislike eggs and sprouts so I am not one to ask. This place is where I request to go on my birthday. Yes, it is birthday-good.

Ugh, what a terrible experience I had at this place. I’ve been a loyal customer for many years, usually going for lunch a couple times a month. Today, I met a friend who had never been, but loves Thai and we find out they changed restrictions on the gift certificate I had and wouldn’t accept it(they said they take them for dinner only). I argued that both the website and the gift certificate did not have this restriction, but they still wouldn’t take it. I’m sorry, but any manager or owner that is this stubborn to a good customer(who is with a potential new customer), is just sad. I will not be going back and suggest you find somewhere else to spend your money as well.
