Eat here almost weekly. Excellent food. Beef Phở is best in town. Yellow curry, yum. Dining area is small but doable. Wish they were open on Sunday.

Today I picked up the Panang Curry with tofu and veggies for lunch and it was extremely disappointing. There was almost no curry in the dish, it was pretty much like eating a bowl of dry rice and veggies with a few pieces of tofu. In addition to that the little bit of curry that was in there had almost no flavor. I have made curries much better than this. I called to let them know and they were very nice and offered me a free dish if I would like to give them a try again. While I did appreciate the gesture I just don’t think I will be back, I have been here before several years ago and while the food was not bad it was definitely nothing to write home about. There are too many other options where I can get quality food, not worth going back to take a chance.

Really tiny but super friendly. Located in a small strip mall off of Montgomery. they offer fried wonton, with a nice light sweet and sour sauce. I had spring rolls which were hot, freshly fried and delicious!!! I ordered Tom Yum Kaiser Soup with chicken, I couldn’t put it down. Sweet and sour, and s little heat. This one will leave you craving it. Thai fried rice with chicken. Comes in heat levels of 1 to 5. I’m a two kind of girl, myself. It was good, I could have bumped the heat a bit more. But overall a great lunch. Lunch is served from 11 – 2:30 T –F Saturday from 12 – 2. Dinner is served 5 – 9 m –f and Saturday 5 – 9. Try it you will like it.

Good, I ordered Chicken Pad Thai, #2 heat which was not very hot. Got it as take out, prompt and reasonably priced. This was a new place for me not bad but not great.

Best Thai food in the city! The downtown location is phenomenal too. It’s definitely not fancy, but the portions are huge and the food is delicious! I usually get the Thai fried rice. Such great flavor! Never disappointed when I come here!

We had crab rangoons, green curry and pineapple fried rice. All were spice level 3. I had big expectations since we thought they are the same as downtown bangkok express. Crab rangoos were good, but i am getting the feeling that those come from a frozen box and every restaurant has the same. Green curry was very very mild. No flavor. for 3⁄5 we expect something. Pineapple fried rice even though it was good, not good as downtown. :(

Best Thai food around. If I can have one last dish before I die, I’d order the Bai Fern fried rice from here. I’ve taken a few visiting guests here over the past several months and all of them have since been hooked to this place.

My boyfriend and I went to Bangkok Express yesterday for dinner. It was a Saturday night and it was empty(there were some pick up orders though). I didn’t understand why, as the food was awesome. I ordered the shrimp basil fried rice and my boyfriend ordered the broccoli and chicken. We both ordered 2 spice out of 5. It was delicious with huge portions, just the right amount of heat, and lots of veggies. We also got spring rolls which we both thought were fresh tasting and very good. It all tasted fresh, scrumptious, herbaceous and came out fast. Service was very friendly and attentive. I don’t mind the small dining area at all. It’s clean and comfortable. I’m happier with a place that has great food and hole-in-wall ambiance than a huge, loud place, flavorless warmed-up food, and crappy service. I can see how it would be an issue of dining-in there during the winter. Guess I’ll be calling in my order when it gets cold out! P.S We ate leftovers from my shrimp basil fried rice today for lunch, and it was even better than yesterday. Can’t wait to eat there again!

Had the pad Thai and the red curry. The pad Thai was a brown mess of noodles. The red curry had no taste except for the heat. The food was not very good and the server not very helpful. The spring rolls were«just okay»

I should have known better, given the name/location and so-so reviews, but I was hungry and this is close to my work. I got the wonton soup and a side of fried spring rolls. The woman at the counter shoved a bag at me which wasn’t my order and then I had to stand there while her ‘supervisor’ scolded her. The guy supervising was clearly stressed out and felt comfortable enough to bark orders at people while customers were waiting. The soup was near tasteless with hard wonton filling to the point where I could barely get a spoon through the center. The rolls were greasy and soggy. I’m dreading 20 minutes from now when this shitty food makes me sick. NEVERAGAIN.

The Thai Fried Rice is a recommended eat out here. The place is not all that jazzy but the hospitality is good. I’d definitely come back for more here.

Ehhhh… Salty food, undercooked noodles, runny curries served on a plate… Nowhere near the Bangkok Express in downtown. Two thumbs down… Not to mention, kinda pricey for the quality of food!

Turned off by the restaurant chains available for lunch options, I cruised down Montgomery Road scanning businesses along the way. I spotted the word ‘Bangkok’ and pulled into the lot. I wasn’t impressed with the storefront appearance in the little strip mall with a dry cleaner and a Dairy Queen but went in to look at the menu anyway. I was seeking a place to eat and work on the laptop and was happy to find an abundance of dishes that looked great, and confirmed they offered free Wi-Fi. I ordered a simple basil fried rice with tofu and medium spice. It was exactly as ordered and was very flavorful. The tables weren’t full at 1:30PM but they were quite busy with takeout orders. The phone rang many other times with regular customers who the servers happily chatted with while ordering up more food; a good sign they have plenty of repeat business. I learned from my server that the cook is the owner. He emerged from the kitchen twice to get things from his car and he had a healthy full head of hair NOT tucked in a hair net. I assume he wears one in the kitchen, but anyway this is the reason I didn’t give 5 full stars. The front of the house staff is quite pleasant.

Stopped by here for Pad Thai, as I continue to try to hit every thai restaurant in the greater Cincinnati area. The spring rolls were excellent. Very crisp, and not chewy like many other thai places. The duck sauce was thick, but rather bland. It needed a little something extra. The Pad Thai, however, was quite excellent. They used thinner noodles, which I quite enjoy. Not the thread noodles, but a step between that and the standard thai noodles. Spice level at 4 was a little low, but that can easily be remedied with additional numbers, or fresh thai chilis, which they told me they offered after the fact. Will definitely be going back, as they’re the best thai place I’ve found north of 275 so far. Top five.

Used to be my favorite but last time I went it took over 30 mins to get my chicken Pad Thai, and when I got it back to my office to eat, there were no sides(won tons or egg role, etc.) nor was there any more than an single ounce of chicken in the entire damn thing. Very disappointed.

I ordered takeout for dinner… it only toom about 15 min to get my food. I got the pepper garlic with chicken and the fried dumplings. The dumplings were really good and the sauce they give you is yummy. The pepper garlic kind of smelled a little fishy, I don’t know if they cook it close to fish. Other than that it was pretty good.

Went here today with some coworkers. I had their takeout before and didn’t think it was anything super special. But for some reason, today their Pad Thai really hit the spot. I ordered it with tofu, 3 star spicy(on a scale of 1 – 5). They make it with rice noodles, which are my favorite type. It was sweet and spicy in a pretty perfect balance. The restaurant itself is very small, but bright and welcoming, I think. It was packed when we arrived, but the manager(?) came out and told us there would be a table open in 5 minutes and took our orders while we were waiting. They seemed well staffed, and sure enough, as soon as we placed our order, we were seated. They have a limited menu at lunch, but it’s a good price– less than $ 10 even with tip.
