Overall the food and the service is very good. I work in this area and tend to get their salads for lunch at least 3x a week. The food always looks and taste great and with the rapid order it makes it really easy for me to get in and out with my food. There have been two instances where they have completed my order incorrectly, one time by completely forgetting to add my soup in my bag. They did make it up by giving me a gift-card for the troubles which easily made up for the mistake. This is a very busy location but I have never felt as though they were not able to complete my orders(whether I do rapid pickup or eat in the restaurant) in a timely manner.

There were 5 employees working on something and only one person in front of me. Took them almost 10 minutes for someone to take my order. Cashier is very friendly though. But it also took them 10+ minutes to prepare the kids Mac n cheese and an oatmeal. Not impressive! I will not come here for breakfast again. They are way too slow and I don’t have the time of the world to wait!

Don’t come to this Bread Co. if you expect to use the internet because one is able to connect to their wifi, but the internet will not work. How can this place call itself a coffee shop with no functioning internet? Thank you for wasting my time Panera.

Food was alright, and I am usually a good sport when things go awry. However, I found a hair on my bread, not my hair to dark to be from my head. I took it back up to the counter since I needed a box for my salad anyway and asked for a new piece of bread. I was not asking for a comp., I did not demand any freebies, did’nt make a scene, just politely pointed out the hair and asked for a different piece of bread. Which they did provide with no apologies, not one. No I am sorry for hair, please excuse the unknown DNA deposit in your lunch, nothing. Your not that special BreadCo, I can go elsewhere get comparable food and be treated better.

I’m not a fan of Panera anywhere in the country. However, this place is run like the good old days of «St Louis Bread Co.» Friendly, casual, and super helpful staff. Lots of room, good wifi, fun staff especially in the mornings. I don’t like their bagels but I go here when in St Louis to treat clients and friends.

This particular Panera Bread is not up to par with others. And this is coming from a huge Panera Bread fan. First off, they don’t bring the food out to you like the others, you have to wait for it in line which is slightly inconvenient. Second, and most importantly, the food is not as fresh tasting. The bagel wasn’t very hot and tasted like it has been sitting out. The cream cheese had liquid on the top as if the elements separated inside. My friend’s soup that he always gets did not taste as great — according to him. The place overall was a lot more dirty feeling and the floor was in need of vacuuming. Overall, this Panera simply did not stand up to its kin. On the plus side, Jon and Trish were excellent associates and we liked them a lot. They were friendly and professional.

Sunday morning crew here sucks. In the time it took my wife to order a pb&j for my daughter. My son and I went next door to fuzzy’s, ordered, received food, and finished in the time it took SLBC to get a PB&J delivered. The only cashier seemed overwhelmed yet not caring. Zero stars.

I am a fan and have been for a long time. I fussed a bit years back when they switched to the Seattle-roast style of coffee, but what can I do. That darker, bitter roast is all the rage these days. This is not a coffee shop anyway, but a bakery and casual dining spot. Saint Louis Bread Co. did have a time where the quality of their sandwich and soup offerings, as well as the general accuracy of each order, was going down. Things have improved a great deal over the last few months, though. Accuracy is way up, and the menu is more interesting. Like most chain-restaurants, Saint Louis Bread Co. and Panera bread locations stick to predictable layouts and fairly standard menu offerings. Nothing here is going to be the best you’ve ever eaten, but I thing you will find something that you like. The pasties, sandwiches ans soups are all good but not noteworthy. Some of the breads, though, are exceptionally good. A favorite of mine is the Tomato Basil bread. If you arrive for breakfast you should try one of the baked egg souffles. There are typically three or four varieties to choose from and you will not be disappointed. For lunch, it’s all good. I especially enjoy the Asiago Steak sandwich. At this Maryland Heights location every member of the staff has been friendly and helpful. I go here often and recommend it to anyone who is not in the mood for burgers, buffets, or neighborhood bar-and-grill type are.

I am so impressed with how efficient this Bread Co is! This West Port location is always busy but the team seems to have a system in place for handling the crowds. I go here every once and a while for lunch at noon with many, many other working people who take lunch at the same time and no matter how busy it is they seem to be able to get people their orders quickly(and correctly!). Today I had a particularly great experience — I ordered my food online and went in to pick up it on my lunch break and my food was waiting for me on the shelf on time when I walked. A worker asked me multiple times if it looked right or if I needed anything else. Due to the holiday I think I got a break with the parking, but I was in and out in five minutes. I actually had time to go back to the office and sit down and enjoy my food before my lunch break ended.

I had no clue that Panera was the non STL version of St. Louis Bread company. I always thought this was the Atlanta bread Company but with the local name added. Anyway, nice quiet place to grab a bite, a coffee, and do some studying. You can never go wrong with the bread bowl and Turkey chili!

This is the third time I’ve waited over 15 minutes for a small To-go order. I even seen two separate people go up and complain about waiting. Other people got their food before me as well. It was a slow period and maybe the location just needs more hands. Whatever the case, if you want your food quickly, think twice before choosing this location! Not impressed or satisfied, great food though!

Every Bread Co I go to always seems to be packed but this particular location seems to handle it better than others. I’ve always gotten good service here and the food has always been good. Parking generally sucks, but that’s not necessarily the fault of the restaurant. Unfortunately there isn’t a drive-thru for this particular location, because of the way it’s situated in the plaza, however a drive-thru would definitely go a long way at this location since the parking is so horrible. Ah well.

I love me some Bread Company. I’ve been to this location specifically, twice now and I must say that I give them my official«Emma Seal of Approval». Let me take this opportunity to acknowledge that fact that an employee there named, Julie, is so kind and has a bright personality. The first time I went in there, I was there for some food therapy and she made me laugh and it changed my whole perspective on the day. I was served by her again today and again, same great attitude and bright personality. I really appreciated that and I hope others get the same kindness from her that I got! She is one of the reasons why I plan on returning to this location on multiple occasions. The parking on the other hand makes me want to walk, which it is close enough that if I wanted to really get in a good workout that day, I guess I could walk there. During the lunch time hours, the parking… fah-geht-about-it! But the first time I went there was in the late afternoon and I found the parking to be a breeze. Let me say this for all Bread Company restaurants, get the rewards card. Last month I got hooked up with a free smoothie, this month was $ 2 off a pick two meal deal. They don’t bombard you with emails and I haven’t had any hassle with it. So I would recommend the rewards card to get you some freebies! All in all, the resturant is very clean and organized, I am very happy with the staff and how they treat the customers and its great because you can sit there and use the internet all while enjoying your meal.

Obviously, I love Bread Co. This review is for this specific location. Parking in Westport Plaza can be a hassle, but what can ya do? I placed a large pick-up order for my office one day and was given an 11:15 pick-up time. When I arrived, the order was not ready yet. They apologized and gave me a free drink while I waited which was a nice gesture. And the order was ready shortly. They’re pretty good about working quickly through the lunchtime business. When I’m here for just my lunch, they get me in and out really quickly! Plus everyone I’ve met is very friendly.

i was reminded today that this place actually has pretty decent food. The office got lunch in and I did the pick two — mac-n-cheese of course for this gal who is a carb-a-holic…and I tried a new salad to me a chopped with chicken and avocado… a wise choice. They of course gave me a half a loaf of bread to snarf down with this — no problem for me more carbs… The coworkers seemed to enjoy the chipotle chicken sammie and tuna sammie —-my only complaint is when you order to go — I feel you don’t get as much food as when you dine in… the portions seemed tiny or perhaps I was just extra hungry today.

Parking at Westport can be a hassle, but I like this because I can get breakfast here and then walk over to Starbucks for a drink. The restaurant itself is pretty clean and organized. Even in the breakfast rush I’m served promptly and I’m out the door in about 5 minutes on a bad day. They don’t mind if you hang out in the corner and use the wifi, it’s a big space and can handle it. Insider tip, if you’re trying to avoid carbs but can’t avoid eating here, ask for their off menu«Power» options. They have a power breakfast bowl — steak, egg, avocado and tomato. Delicious!
