This place is great! You get huge sandwiches for the price. Also, I always load up on the chief Sorenson’s spicy bbq sauce. They have little cups on the counter so you can get any one of a big variety of sauces you take with you.

Came in for my lunch break from trainings in the area. I came in and was greeted immediately. I ordered a Philly sub combo which was $ 10. The sandwich was delicious! They have a freestyle Coke machine which always makes me feel like a grandpa because of all the options and technology. I’m 25. But it is awesome to have options! The staff were very friendly and I had a great experience. The sandwich was small for the price compared to other sub shops. I didn’t mine to much since some of the money goes to first responders. Overall it was great. A tad expensive for the size sandwich you get but the food and staff were great!

I had my first experience with Firehouse Subs yesterday. I was impressed by the professionalism and friendliness of all of the staff. Every time the door opened, they all greeted the customer walking in. I also took note of how clean the location was. The dalmation print table tops, red and chrome accents nicely compliment the firemen theme of the restaurant. I also appreciated the local fire department pictures on the wall. And of course, the option to donate to first responders by rounding to the next dollar with your purchase is really great. I ordered a medium sized Italian sub, which was a perfect size for me. I was pleased with the amount of meat on the sandwich. It kind of had a sweet flavor which was different. It wasn’t the best sandwich I’ve ever had, but I’d like to go back to try a different sandwich. I also like that they have a large variety of sauces available at the counter for customers to add their own flavors to their sandwiches. When i say large, i mean like 20 diiferent sauce bottles.

Great food and service! Much better than the other local alternatives. I have yet to have a bad experience at any Firehouse Sub location.

For a franchise this store is the best! I go here at least once a week. The employees are so friendly and always go out of their way to welcome you! I have never been in the store before and not had someone greet me. The subs are fantastic and very fresh too. I have also ordered catered meals from here which are just as good. They always ask if u want a pickle in the side. The manager always calls after the meals are delivered to make sure everything was good and to your satisfaction! All together the store is top notch for the franchise. The customer service exceeds expectations and that is why I keep returning!

I’ve visited firehouse subs today and ordered turkey sandwich. The food was very good however; they use way too much bread(too big) and not enough meat. The ratio is probably 35⁄65. This place kind of reminded me of Penn Station but just a bit better. The prices are definitely comparable to Penn station. The inside of this place is much bigger than any subway or Penn station that I have visited. One thing I did like was they give children a plastic red fireman’s hat which I thought was kind of cool. A drink, sandwich and a bag of chips would roughly cost about $ 12 which in my opinion, is high for a sub sandwich. The place was very clean and the staff was friendly and fast. I think it is definitely worth checking out but I don’t think I will be a regular here.

Great food. Friendly service. I recommend firehouse subs! Free sub on your birthday. 99 cent kid meals on certain days.

Super friendly staff. Quick service. Great food. Not sure what else you can ask for in a lunch stop. Perhaps charity??? Oh they have that… you can roll up your total and it goes to first responders.

I know, I know… it’s a franchise. Personally, I try to avoid Unilocaling about franchise restaurants… but I just can’t help myself. The sandwiches here are so damn good. I love this sandwich shop – and that’s saying a lot. I have pretty high standards with sandwiches, and franchise stores usually fill the void of «I’m hungry, need food». However, with Firehouse, I find myself looking forward to my next sandwich there. So far, I have been here four times since they opened, and each visit is preceded by a 15-minute gaze at their online menu, trying to decide which one to take home. There’s probably something wrong with me… but I don’t care. Great sandwiches, excellent service, and a quick turnaround during a lunch hour. Also, if you are a fan of hot sauces, Firehouse offers a terrific selection of bottled hot sauces, each one ranked 1 – 10 in order of spiciness. I also am a fan of their cool Coke machine which has dozens of flavor combinations. CHOICES! So many choices at Firehouse. Eat here. Judge for yourself. But from one sandwich guy to another, it’s a pretty tasty sandwich. The ONLY drawback is location. Leaving the parking lot of Firehouse to get on Dorsett can be a bitch turning left… but it hasn’t deterred me yet! Finally, kudos to their fundraising for First Responders. Rounding up to the nearest dollar is a brilliant way to shake the cushions for a good cause.

Friendly staff, great food. I’ve been here 4x now since they’ve opened. I’m glad they opened one so close to my house. I definitely hope this place succeeds in Maryland Heights!!!
