We just had Heather as our waitress she was so nice! Definitely ask for her when you come in. I had the loaded baked potato! It was so good! You get so much food!

Very nice size portions for a really good price. Leilani was my server and she was super nice and sweet. Even changed the TV to the football game I asked. The food was good. I really loved the garlic bread. The BBQ beans were also very tasty. The pulled pork was a little dry. The problem I had was the sauce, the sweet stuff was exceedingly sweet, like candy sweet. I just like it sweet and spicy. All together it’s a good place. Friendly service and good, reasonable prices.

While in St. Louis on business, I found a menu in my hotel room for restaurants that deliver to the hotel. I decided to go with barbecue ribs, since I was in St. Louis, and chose Bandana’s. I ordered the two item combo plate with ribs and pork. I got the french fries and green beans as sides. After getting past the part where I had to eat everything with my fingers since they didn’t provide any utensils despite the fact that they were delivering to a hotel room, I found the pork to be a little dry, with not much flavor, and the ribs were flavorful but a bit tough. They also provided five different packets of barbecue sauces, which was fun to sample. Overall, just mediocre BBQ. I’ve been to Sugar Fire on a previous trip and it was way better. Too bad they don’t deliver to my hotel!

The ‘Bakers Square’ of bbq. The pulled pork was very good. The sauces were above average. The fried corn on the cob wasn’t worth an upgrade charge. The ribs were below average, not much too them. I’d eat here again.

The food was excellent, and large portions for a lunch plate. The service was fast, but then they were pretty slow. We enjoyed the food and had to take put some with us.

We ordered the«award winning ribs» today and we’re very disappointed. The ribs were dry and tough. I guess they were even over cooked or were cooked many days ago. We’re wonder what kind of award they won, and when. The side green beans were terrible. I believe them were canned food!

If I could give this place less than 1 star I would. AWFUL, I had the ribs and I’m just shocked they had the nerve to even serve them. They must have been cooked for days. They were so tough if I dropped one it would have bounced to the ceiling. Horrible just horrible. Save yourself the bother, if you want bbq, you want find it here!

WOW!!! This is amazing BBQ:)) you can smell the meat smoker as soon as you walk in and it’s to die for:). I always the shredded pork and use the spicy BBq! I have had better baked beans and the coleslaw is ok. But the garlic bread they give you with your meal is awesome!

I am from out of town, and didn’t have an opinion of this place before I went. The good: lots of food for the price, and the service was good. And, overall not a bad time. The con: The food. Not the best. The beef was grey, the ribs were tough, and the bread was fake frozen buttery type of stuffs. Not decent quality, and very disapointed for being a BBQ place. I had waaay better ribs at a pub nearby.

Okay let’s get something straight if you want real barbecue you need to visit sugar fire smokehouse. But if you don’t like to wait in long lines then bananas barbecue maybe the answer. I really like their pulled chicken sandwich buffalo style which is very moist and offers an array of flavors. I also like their beef meat platter. The food portions are fairly decent and will definitely fill you up. The food is decent and the customer service is exceptional. For the same price I would recommend that you give sugar fire smokehouse a shot. When you compare the two it is night and day. I don’t mind bananas barbecue on lazy days but when I am in the mood for real barbecue sugar fire smokehouse is the answer. Either way try both and you may end up liking bananas barbecue better. I am giving them three stars because I don’t find their barbecue as authentic as they claim it when compared to others.

We love Bandanas. It is quick and the food is delicious. It is much more affordable than a place like Sugarfire. This location is almost always fast and the staff friendly. Love both the Sweet and Smokey and Chicago Sweet sauces.

My son’s favorite place, we come here a lot. Love the chicken nacho appetizer. Usually end up with pulled chicken, or turkey, or the beef platter. Servers are always friendly — sometimes the food can miss the mark but overall we enjoy this restaurant.

Stoked to have a real barbecue place in my hometown. The pluses: The food is great tasting and plentiful for the price. The staff is generally friendly and attentive. The minuses: I’m certain daily they fire up a certain amount of ribs and have them waiting to go for the evening crowd, as they expediently bring them out not too far after you order. Which in theory, is amazing. But it’s not quality. The food gets cold really fast. I’m under the impression they do a quick reheat before it’s served. I honest to goodness don’t mind if I have to wait 20 – 25 for a barbecue meal like I do in most places, because it’s fresh and to die for. You can’t cheat or beat the system by quick return if your ribs have been sitting out all day. Because their ribs have a special glazing on them, they hope that helps pull the wool over, but I’ve dined in a handful of times now to notice the consistency. And while I understand it can get pretty hot when you’re a server running around and you need a cool down, and maybe the lot of clientele tends to be on the obese side, the temperature they keep the joint is on the verge of sitting in an icebox, which is super uncomfortable. No one likes to eat their lukewarm food while freezing. Bad combination. They do have varieties of the local Fitz’s Root Beer by the bottle, and while the décor and ambience gets me excited on the idea to eat in, you’re better off just ordering to go and eat at home. They have at least five styles of barbecue sauce to add on, but their ribs are so good, they don’t need any additional flavoring.

Good BBQ, nice sides, clean and not that expensive. Have I had better more unique BBQ? Sure! Was this a nice quiet place to sit, have a tasty BBQ meal and enjoy it? Absolutely! Would I eat here again? Heck yeah! It’s just good BBQ!

First of all you have to try this place when in St Louis. The ribs are simply amazing. Service wise. We were greeted by smiling happy people who were generally friendly to everyone. Five guys out having a dinner and Missy our server was great. She was prompt friendly and just all around fun to be around. She interacted great with all the guys and made us feel at home. When we asked for refills or more drinks she was fast about it and even thanked us for sitting in her section(although we were seated by someone). I would recommend this place to anyone. The service was amazing. The place was clean and the Experience was top notch

Unique bbq here, the ribs are not smoked to tender fall of the bone quality but the ribs/meat has a addicting crust, best way I can describe this crust on the meat is like eating sweet pork jerky. We find this restaurant expensive for being a chain bbq restaurant. The ribs we got have very little meat left on the bones. We definitely did not get values here. We came ~1 hour before closing on Sat. night and our server seem impatient as if she was trying to get us out of the restaurant.

We really enjoyed the nachos with BBQ chicken, sour cream and jalapenos, along with a pork sandwich. French fries were awesome. The heartburn I could have done without…

Four stars is about as high as I will go for a franchise place, unless they do something spectacular for me or one of my dining partners. This location of bandanna’s gets three stars. My sausage was really yummy and the fried okra was a nice change from the typical side of fries. I can only give them three stars though because of the service. It was not abyssmal, but when you can see the adjacent server lavishing service on all of his tables… filling their drinks, asking about their food, processing their checks, etc. it makes your mediocre server seem even more lackluster. This is a favorite of my coworkers so I guess I know which server I will ask for when I return.

We were visiting St. Louis from MN and wanted to try St. Louis-style BBQ. When we tried to order ribs, however, our waitress told us that they had sold out of ribs because of one carryout order and we’d have to get something else. This was right before the lunch rush. It seems short-sighted to sell all of the food to one person and have nothing left for dine-in customers. That’s the only reason I’m not going five stars, though. The pulled pork was great. The garlic bread is to die for and the donut holes almost made me cry because they were so good. The boiled peanuts were weird, but I like mushy salty stuff, so it worked out. Our waitress Holly was awesome.

I’m from Texas, so I take my barbeque seriously. With that said, I can’t really say anything bad about Bandana’s. I went in during the workday lunch rush, and enjoyed my food and time there. Their sweet tea is delicious, their barbeque sauces are nice and varied and their barbeque was pretty good as well. I got the«pick 3» with beef brisket, link sausage and baby back ribs. With the exception of the brisket being a little dry, it was all awesome.
