The crab rangoon were good, but my boneless hot braised chicken order consisted mostly of dark meat full of fat and gristle.

I no longer eat here. Not sure why but the last few times I ordered food and has it delivered, the food was horrible. I actually got sick after I stopped eating mid meal because suddenly the food just had a horrible taste.

I have been ordering from here since I moved into the area. Always good. Tom and Chris have always been good with the portions.

I’ve been here a couple times now and it is a typical hole in the wall Chinese joint. Prices are cheap and portions are smaller for this type of restaurant. I definitely would say order chicken or pork if you want more meat. I ordered the beef once and it was seriously like 4 or 5 small chopped pieces. other than that its aite, I would definitely recommend other hole in the wall Chinese places. Came in on my lunch break from a training I had in the area. Came in and walked to the counter and ordered right away. I knew what I was craving so it wasn’t much of a thought process. I ordered the sweet n sour chicken combo. It came with fried rice and a soda. The food was up very quickly. Also, the restaurant was pretty clean from what I could tell. And the prices are excellent. The food is a different story. Now, I’ve ordered sweet and sour chicken multiple times from multiple places. I’ve never received it like I received it here. It was maybe 6 – 8 pieces of chicken. COVERED in sweet n sour sauce. It made the chicken very soggy and I don’t even like the sauce. It also had peppers and carrots all over it. My rice had the sauce all on it also. It was a mess. I didn’t even want to mess with it but I was hungry and stomached through it. I wish I would’ve been made aware or maybe there could be a picture or description that it was going to come this way. Prices were good but food wasn’t as expected. Probably won’t ever return.

Just ordered for the first time. Please keep in mind Chinese is not my favorite. However, the delivery was very fast. Good proportions, good quality food and was cooked well. I’d order here again

Average. Ordered the lunch special: Beef & Broccoli. Way too heavy in sauce. Completely soaked bottom layer of my steamed rice. Was not enjoyable as a whole.

This is a great store for what it is. American Chinese food at its best. And under 6 bucks for a combo. Nice.

This clean well kept place does a lot of business. There was a constant line the entire time I was there for lunch. I imagine this is a taste of what it sounds like in a Shanghai market/food district when they’re taking orders and calling out to the chefs. Hot sour soup was very good, one of my stand by indicators of good Chinese. Crab Rangoon good too… as good as any I’ve had. Kung Pao chicken had a punch too it, very good as well. Good fresh hot cooked food reasonably priced. If I lived closer this would be my go to place for Chinese… in fact I might even go out of my way.

Sometimes a three star review is an indication that a place is doing just fine but that their chosen niche just doesn’t warrant a higher rating. That is exactly the case with this place. They are a high-volume, counter-service place pumping out massive quantities of Americanized Chinese food. Therein lies the rub… I cannot really stick more than three stars on such a place. I had the General Tsao chicken. It was served hot(no shit… it was lunchtime and they were slammed) and near my upper limit for spiciness at lunch. Less than 10 minutes between ordering and receipt plus everything was obviously freshly cooked. A good portion of crispy fried chunks of chicken in a thick sauce with exactly two pieces of broccoli tossed on top as an afterthought. Add a couple of run of the mill crab rangoons and a pile of fried rice in the styrofoam clamshell and it was a pretty good value at less than $ 6. I will certainly be back but not because I will be looking for a gourmet experience. Nope, I’ll be back when I want a pile of steaming hot Americanized Chinese food for way less than ten bucks… and sometimes that’s just fine.

I wish this place had larger crab rangoon and softer rice. Other than that, it’s the cheapest Chinese food I’ve ever had and they’re open late! It isn’t greasy like most Chinese either. I like that you can order online as well.

My FAVORITE Chinese food in the area!!! Their crab rangoon is simply amazing. They have great prices for a lot of really good food. I enjoy trying something new at every visit! Fast delivery too! :)

Lemme just start by saying I love greasy chinese food. Fast and inexpensive, I know not to expect authenticity or high quality tastes… but I feel like it’s hard to mess up that«chinese takeout» taste. That soy saucy general Tsos using-the-same-wok-for-everything taste that just tastes so good. SO… I ordered delivery from Wok Express late Sunday night. Person who picked up was not friendly, not helpful, almost rude. He asked for my order, my address(which was at a hotel) and my room number. Then he proceeds to say that I will have to meet the driver in the lobby. Ok why did you ask for my room # then? Then he hangs up without asking my credit card info or giving me an eta on when it’ll arrive — standard delivery questions right?(This makes me sound like I order takeout every day haha!). Deliverer arrives at my hotel room with no notice when I was waiting for a phone call to meet the dude downstairs. Hands me the bag and requests cash so thankfully I had enough on me. After giving me my change he just leaves without saying thank you or have a good night. Shrugs… Open bag, no utensils. I’m pretty sure utensils are always provided unless the customer states otherwise. Take bite out of the crisply cashew chicken. Extremely breaded. I thought it’d be lightly breaded and fried, but I would say it was 50⁄50 on breading and chicken. Fried rice was sub par, flavorless and not much more than rice with one or two peas. Extremely disappointed. The only redeeming quality is the price of the combo special at around $ 5 – 6. TL;DR: employees were rude, delivery didn’t include utensils, food was subpar for chinese takeout.

Fast food– Chinese style Cheap, fast & not the greatest $ 5.60 for ALL during ALL open hours Crab Rangoon– surprisingly nicely stuffed, but taken from a heat tray for speed Hot & Sour Soup– tasted OK, but only about 8oz Garlic Sauce Shrimp– the sauce was closer to gravy & not much garlic plus very tiny shrimp It is as advertised — Express.

I work in earth city and have tried out a lot of different Chinese places but always come back to this place. They make the food just how you want it. I love there beef and broccoli(I ask for it to be made spicy) with lo mein(spicy) instead of rice. Def recommend this place

Impressive! The only complaint that I have is that I didn’t get enough rice with my meal. I wanted to try something different on a Friday night — which is what brought me to this place. When I walked in the staff was pretty busy but my order was taken right away. The inside was a bit more spacious than I had imagined, which was a good thing! I ordered the Sesame Chicken combo plate, which I have to say was an excellent choice. I was a bit thrown off by the small size of the food container but when I got home and opened it up — the food was picture perfect!!! It was quite delicious too, but of course like many other restaurants I always end up with more meat than I do rice. In this case it wasn’t that big a deal though because the food was still super hot even after a 15 minute car ride and the chicken was seasoned to perfection! I would definitely try this place again!!!

The negative reviews about this place are a bit whiney, in my opinion. If you’ve read through the reviews here, you know what kind of joint this is. It’s cheap, fast, and actually quite clean. In fact, it’s probably the cleanest strip mall Chinese food place I’ve ever been to. I thought the food was great. I wasn’t aiming my expectations for the stars when I walked in, especially since my order totaled a whopping 6 dollars. I got the general chicken special with hot and sour soup. Chicken was cooked perfectly, soup was good and the goons were great. I’ll be a frequent customer.

Great value for tasty food! Sesame chicken, fried rice, two crab rangoons, and a soda for less than $ 7. I didn’t think it seemed dirty, but it wasn’t spotless either. Not a place to go if ambiance is at all important. There was quite the hustle and bustle behind the counter the entire time we were eating lunch there. My food was pretty good, but the boss’ was way over-sauced such that he ended up with a pool of goo at the bottom after having eaten his fill. Not an all-the-time kind of place, but it will definitely get added to the lunch rotation.
