Went with high hopes after reading reviews, but was let down. Got a whole chicken, just enough for two people on a diet. Yes that small. Taste was just so so, very dry. Roasted potatoes were very good. If this is the best chicken in St Louis then I can’t wait to get back to Tennessee.

The best chicken salad in the county. If you get anything else, be sure to try the Jerk sauce. I buy both and take them home. Really friendly servers.

Best chicken in St Louis period. We especially like the Thanksgiving and Christmas catering packages.

My family and I have been getting St. Louis Rotisserie meals for years and love it! Can’t go wrong with the chicken(duh) and potato side. Also love the BBQ sauces! Reliable, consistent, and friendly!

Tried this place out for the first time yesterday… First mistake was ordering salmon at a chicken spot. I got the salmon which was seasoned and burned on the bottom with roasted potatoes which were dry and hard and unseasoned green beans. The burnt fish was served on a bed of dry white rice. Will not be returning back here… it left much to be desired.

At lunch, I got a half chicken meal, which includes two sides. I got green beans and a cucumber/red onion salad. This was a carryout, so I was paying no attention to ambiance. But it’s fast-food ambiance — meaning no ambiance. I appreciate and think it’s a good thing that this is rotisserie chicken. But these were the smallest chickens I’ve ever seen in my whole life. I ate the leg, dark meat, and it was tasty, but I pulled the skin off. It was too greasy, kinda burned and not crispy. Could have had something do to with the carryout concept, ’cause I didn’t go straight home to eat. The sides were good, but I especially enjoyed the salad. It was in a vinegar brine. Tasty, fresh and crunchy. The green beans were tender-crisp, not seasoned a lot, but cooked perfectly.

Ok, St Louis, why did you not tell me about this place. I’ve been driving by this place for six months now and Saturday I decided to stop in for lunch. These folks know what they are doing with smoked meet. I had a half smoked chicken. Yummo! It is straight up smoked chicken and they have four sauces that you can choose from on the side. I tried the Hot BBQ, regular BBQ and the marinade. The Hot is pretty spicy and the marinade is close to a Terriaki. They have other smoked items and do ribs on Thursdays. I might stop by for some today on the way home.

OMG!!! I have worked down the street from this place, for about 6 months now! Just made it there for my first time today! *WOW* Why did I wait so long!!! It was YUMMMYLICIOUS! I had the BBQ Pulled Chicken w/Garlic Roasted Potatoes and Green Beans… My Friend had the Chicken Salad w/Garlic Roasted Potatoes and Salad. We were both more than satisfied and absolutely stuffed when we finished. You get a great amount of food for the cost and it is really delicious! We will definitely be returning!!!

Got there late so they were out of chicken salad and out of the potato salad I wanted. Ordered the chicken and ham combo with bbq beans and cucumber salad. The beans tasted suspiciously like CAmpbell’s pork & beans from a can… hmm? Neither the chicken nor the ham had a very good flavor to it. It was not a smoky or grilled flavor you would expect at all. It was more of a lingering chemical taste, yuk. The ham was thick and juicy but the chicken was kind of dry. I would not recommend eating here. IMO, overpriced and underwhelmed with bland or bad taste. That’s 10+ bucks I will never get back.

I come to Saint Louis Rotisserie almost once a week. The specials are my favorites, either a BBQ pulled chicken sandwich or chicken salad. There are also excellent ribs on Thursdays. If you order rotisserie chicken you can select from a variety of sauces that never fail to satisfy my palate. The service is friendly and efficient. There are a variety of sides for selection(spicy black beans and potato salad are my favorites) and homemade cookies if you want an afternoon snack or have a large appetite. I love this restaurant. They cater, there are plenty of options to keep you busy for a while, and the smell of wood fired rotisserie chicken will draw you in if you are anywhere close to the door.

I have lived practically across the street for almost five years and just recently I stopped in for lunch. WOW! Speechless. I tried the turkey that day but my friend enjoyed the chicken. I would have swapped plates in a moment. The chicken was tender and juicy, flavored perfectly. This place was really something to see, the selection of meats to the cafeteria style sides. You load up, pay, get your beverage and find your seat. I would totally go again!

The BEST chicken and chicken salad ever. It always smells so delicious and it tastes as good. Love this place. The service can be slow so just be patient and enjoy the aroma!

I thought the chicken and the sides were only ok. The chicken was moist and had a great smoke to it. I didn’t like the potato salad and the spicy beans very much. In the end, I was wondering if I’d rather just buy a rotisserie chicken and sides at Schnucks next door and, though this place had a great smoke to everything, I think I’d actually prefer Schnucks/Sam’s/Costco…

Awesome wood fired Chicken? Check Great service? Check Locally Owned? Check This place kicks all sorts of ass, I just wish it was closer to me. If I worked anywhere near this place I would eat here daily. I am going to start making it a point to go out of my way once a week to pick up dinner because the chicken is that fucking good! They also appear to have salmon, ham, and the occasional rib special. Do yourself and your taste buds a favor and try this place..

Every once in a while I have a need for chicken. Not just any chicken but rotisserie chicken cooked over a wood grill. When I go into this establishment they offer a pork sandwich or say a rib special on Thursday but I am not here for that I am here for chicken, chicken, and more chicken. They use a teriyaki type of basting sauce on the chicken that gives this dish a very different flavor. Tangy, salty smoke just a bunch of flavors going on here. If you order the dinner you get two sides. They have salad, oven browned potatoes, slaw and chicken salad. Well I am here for chicken right? So may I please have my sides as chicken salad and chicken salad. Not the best chicken salad because it has the big bold flavors from the style of cooking. I think that this is a great place to go for something different and good. The restaurant is tiny a group of four will have two tables to choose from so that can be a drag. Everything is served on plastic and with plastic knives and forks. So be warned you will use your fingers to eat the chicken. Good food good price and the owner is there cooking so his name is on the line with every dish he puts out. Good job!

There should be one of these in every neighborhood in St Louis. What is wrong with people? Look, roasting is the best way to cook a chicken. You get a juicy bird, crisp skin, and smoky flavor. It is perfection. This place has a chicken, beef, and salmon cooked over a wood fire. The stuff is absolutely magical. The only problem is that the restaurant itself is located in a strip mall on one of the moons of Jupiter. But it is worth going out there one time to have chicken the way it was meant to be.

The food here is pretty good and fairly cheap. They smoke their meats directly in the building and the place has a great smoky smell. They also have some pretty tasty sides to go along with the great tasting meats. They probably would have received four stars if they focused a little more on cleaning the dining area and ponied up a little more for better quality plastic ware(or perhaps metal utensils). I was cutting up some ham for my kids and the fork was bending in half while the knife twisted as I cut. It was almost comical.
