Date night, and I finally got a chance to eat at Wing Stop. We go to Walmart so much that we almost live there — no, we don’t sleep in an RV in the parking lot — but until yesterday, we’ve never crossed the lot to eat here. Well, now we did. They serve only one thing: wings. Not drumsticks, not thighs, not quarters, not even four fried chickens and a Coke. Only wings. And there are roughly 10 flavors to choose from, and the listing shows how spicy they are. The Hunny is under doctor’s orders to eat nothing spicy, so that helped her a lot. We both ordered combos, which include fries. My countenance fell when I saw a mound of fries and six scrawny wings. The problem is not that I went with six instead of eight, but these things are so tiny that I could finish one up in a few bites. I’ve had other wings that had lots of meat on dem bones; not at Wing Stop. Between our 12 wings, all of them were very small. Tasted good, though. We both had garlic parmesan(heavy on the parmesan), she had teriyaki, I had Cajun. All tasted good. The Cajun said that it was very spicy, and although I certainly tasted that spice, it wasn’t overwhelming so the flavor came through strong. The Hunny has rarely had teriyaki, she decided to be brave, and she liked it a lot. Note that it takes a while for the food to come out after you order it. And when you’re done, where do you put the trays and the trash? Other fast food places have counters to put these things on and in. I don’t want to leave a mess, but I had no choice. Service was good, but read other reviews here and you’ll see that this is not always the case. Wing Stop was all right, I guess, but I won’t be rushing back.

Customer service lacking. While staff is nice this establishment seriously needs more staff. Do not come hungry! The wait is LONG no matter if you order ahead of time. Food is good not the best but goos for the price.

Online order…1 hour in advance. I walk in & they told me they put the order in late & still had me waiting another 15 min to accommodate the walk ins that were there prior to my walking in. Clearly there’s a sign right in front of registers to order online so you get your order quicker… Not the case at this establishment. This happened 2x already… Pay attention to your online orders. Are they not being printed out as the orders come in???

The food could be great! I know the one in Antioch was good and there servers where clean and the uniforms are clean and they wear gloves, in Martines they were no gloves and their uniforms are very very badly soiled(Dirty)

Ha. Well. All we wanted was 5 bone in– original hot, and 5boneless-smokehouse and fries, and they fucked that up. The kid behind the register must have been high as shit, he made my mother feel rude for making sure our order was correct and even when it was, he fucked it up. As soon as the food came out, they had to go back and make the correct order, they didn’t even let us have the fuck up. Halfway through fixing it they came back to check just to make sure. Idiots. Id highly recommend the wing stop on monument blvd, rather than this shit hole

I told this male to try and not creep anyone else out for the rest of the day and the rest of his life — we, as women, appreciate it. On a personal note, I sure hope the other employee(very sweet, thank you for my good food) didn’t get any heat from the male regarding this unfortunate experience. I am a frequent customer of this location. This interaction was reported to corporate within the hour. The offender’s name may have been Steve. I provided my contact information for the district manager. Every other interaction and order I’ve had with this Wingstop location was great. I hope this location is worth returning to. I’ve been to wing stop a few times and every time I go I try to give them a chance but it’s always the same. I constantly have stomach issues after eating here because of the grease. Honestly I have no reason to ever go here again unless my family wants to go. The food is barely decent besides the fries which are usually pretty good. The people at the counter are friendly but have side conversations while helping customers and it takes forever just for your food to come out. Some how they’ve managed to have some great reviews so keep up the great work. This restaurant is barely worth three stars

The worst customer service ever! Cooking wings don’t take that long! 30 minutes?? Especially in a commercial deep fryer! HELLLOOOO! It’s not rocket science! It seemed like all the staff was being trained by fire. I FEELSOBADFORTHEPEOPLEWHOWEREON A LUNCHBREAK! One lady had to cancel her order and go back to work hungry! I wanted to drive her wings to her so she wouldn’t be hungry. Poor thing! I came in a few months ago(about 4 months) and the whole crew is different, but same story 45 min for wings is rediculous! The owner of this fanchise is a slum franchisee! I hate that you have to pay for your sauce! Sauce doesn’t come with a la cart wings. At $.86 each, that is a rip off! Or, with a combo, you only get one! This place is over priced and underwhelming! Undercover Boss would do good to come here!

All these negative reviews are astonishing! I have always had great service when I come in. Yes, they take a little while to get me my order, but this isn’t McDonalds! It takes time to deep fry raw chicken fresh to-order, so for me it’s worth the wait! And to the person who used someone else’s discount, that was your bad and being dishonest isn’t the way to get what you want in life.

My first Unilocal review ever should have been about this piece of shit establishment here in Martinez, but because of what happened today, 1÷31÷16, at Hat Club in Concord that became my first Unilocal because it was the most fresh. Anyways, since my incident here I have never spent any of my money at this location or any other wing stop location in the bay area. This was a place that my coworkers and I would frequent at least 2 to 3 times a week, definitely on Friday, but not anymore. And its not just me but my coworkers as well. But before I explain my rating and why it is low or should be a negative I must say first: You know how many people in Unilocal wish they could give 0 stars as a review… how about 0 fucks given as in I give 0 fucks about this place and the employees that work at this specific Wingstop. So Wingstop in Martinez opens at 11am. Ok not a problem because I do not take lunch until around Noon or even later. Being that I do not want to waste my lunch going in and ordering then having to wait for my order, I order online so that it is ready to go by the time i get there. Not that day. I placed a pick up order of 28 piece wings well done along with well done fries. Simple enough right? You would think so because that is how my coworkers and I always order it, but not that day. I guess it was so difficult to do they felt it was best if they started the order when we came in to pick up… Wait a second… they didnt even start the order when we showed up. Let me break it down… — Online Order placed at 9:30am for a 12:15 pick up. — Wingstop opens at 11am. That gives employees 1 hour and 15 minutes to make the order ready for pick up at 12:15pm. Im sure employees are even there earlier for prep and opening. — Arrived around 12 if not a few minutes before 12 and paid for our order. It wasnt ready yet. No problem I put a 12:15 pick up. So of course I wasnt upset. — When my coworker and I walked in there were about 8 other people in the restaurant and 1 other person in line before us. After we paid there was a huge crowd of people that walked in. Can someone please explain to my why the 7 or 8 people who walked in after us left before us? The whole time im watching and hear these people place their order, its not as if it was called in or ordered online ahead of time like I normally do. — So at 12:15 I walk up to find out what is going on with our order. I was told by the male employee that it should only be a few more minutes. No problem, im just going to keep sipping on this soda in this cup. — Its 12:30, and half of my lunch period from work is gone, I walk up to the counter to find out what is going on with the order. I swear I didnt come off like an asshole but I was seriously starting to lose my patience for these employees incompetence. I was then told they just started the order and was then told that because I ordered it well done that they started it later… hmmm…ok… So I finally told the guy to explain to me because maybe Im stupid or just dont get it, but if the wing order is well done, then why wouldnt you start it earlier knowing that it needs to be fried longer. Am I dumb or does what he said make sense? So its totally ok to clear everyone else out, even the people who came in after us, and then start our order. I even showed him on my phone what time I placed the order and said they had more than ample time to make the 2 orders even before we arrived. Dude had me acting an asshole over some fuckin wings! I hate to be rude but this shit was unacceptable. — Its about 12:45 and I have to be back at work, hungry as fuck, by 1pm. This guy kept saying«I understand, I understand» No you fuckin dont dickhead, because if you did then this shit wouldnt have been an issue. So what does he do to try and cool things over… he offers us 30% on our NEXT visit. Like really fucker. Next visit. Like I would step foot in that piece of shit place again. What happens next… whomever he is on the phone with asks why he is giving us our money back and why we dont want our food. Hey man the least you could have done was give us the food at 30% off it not for free, but no you wanted it to be on our NEXT visit. Get a clue. Then the 2 cooks in the back were mouthing off about how we can talk to people that way blah blah blah. Hey lady, you had my respect til you started mouthing off and yet you expect me to be cool about the situation. Then the youngin in the back cooking the wings started popping off also. I mean cmon man, yall mouthing off at me when you were the ones that fucked up. All I can say is that all of you over there at Wingstop Martinez, can get screw yourself and hopefully you learned from this situation. This whole thing could have been avoided if dude was honest about our order not being started. Could have easily walked out of there with our refund and could have gotten something else for lunch. But he is a lying piece of shit.

For the few times that I have been in here over the last couple of years, I walk away with the same impression. How hard is it to find good help? Who is the person making these hiring decisions? Does anyone train the staff? In my most recent purchase I ordered online and planned to pick it up in the store. The online ordering went OK(they don’t let you put in promo codes online). The cost of the order required that I pay before completing the order. When I got to Wingstop the girl behind the counter could not find my order. After a few minutes, it turns out it was right in front of her at the register. During the searching she asked me at least 4 times if I paid for the order. I repeated the same point, that I had to pay to complete the transaction. After she found the order, she asked yet one more time if I had paid. The receipt on the outside of the bag indicated that it was paid. So how were the wings? They were OK. I think that they need some new sauces, but I thought that they were cooked well. What did I learn today? Good help is really hard to find, at least for those applying to Wingstop in Martinez.

Awful Customer Service. I went in to use my Gift Card and they tried to run it and said it had no money on it. I checked right before I placed my order on the phone just to make sure there was money on it and there was $ 20. After arguing, yes they argued with me, I told them they were wrong. The older lady who was not even a manger, called the number on the back of the card… on her cellphone… and found out there was money on it. SHOCKED!!! They still told me they could not help me. I asked them to call another location since they had no idea what they were doing. Of course that manager knew what to do and they used my card and I was on my way. this took 25 minutes to handle and is unacceptable. I will not be returning here and once Buffalo Wild Wings opens in Concord/Pleasant Hill… Wing Stop will lose me as a customer for good.

I didn’t even want to give this place one star the service was so horrible. All I’m going to say is if you go to this place any time after 8:00 p. m and expect good service/food you got another thing coming. I will NEVEREVER go back to this wing stop location. The night time staff is horrible and have no idea as to what they are doing. EVERYONE that was there working the night of 09÷18÷15 deserve to be fired for the way they not only treated me but all customers that night.

To be honest, the best thing here are the fries AND the soda machine. The fries are sweet and crispy, they compliment the wings you get. The fries portion are HUGE, I can finish them, but if you have a small appetite, get the large to share 50cent wings are on Mon/Tues and they are pretty much the only days I go there. Parmesean Garlic, lemon pepper, mango habanero are the best in my opinion! Now that soda machine, free refills and SOMANY different options to choose from! Every fast food establishment needs this machine in their restaurant!
