This place is consistently great. The chicken parm is always amazing. From pasta to apps, the food is excellent. My favorite place in town as far as food is concerned.

Bondo’s is the best! Great service, great atmosphere, great food! The meals have great deals, too. I love the location of Bondo’s. It was an old KFC before Bondo’s existed. The focaccia bread is out of this world. Always baked fresh and warm out of the oven. The oil offering is from a local shop in Scituate, MA. Some of my favorite offerings include the hearty ravioli, the calamari with kielbasa and some unique salad and sauce, and the adult grilled cheese. Dessert is always great there, too. They have vanilla icecream and hot fudge for the kids and adults alike. But, there homemade woopie pies with fudge and whip cream are to die for. I’ve had their red velvet, original, and peppermint versions. Friendly staff, unique location, and great food. Don’t miss out on Bondo’s.

My parents recently moved to Marshfield and boy have we been having fun exploring all of the restaurants in the area. So far, Bondos just might be the highlight. I had the night’s special– A porkchop smothered in mushrooms and a savory sauce, served with mashed sweet potatoes and zucchini. It was fantastic. And massive. Exceptional service, a decent wine list, and fresh eats– 5 stars for you, Bondos!

Using a Living Social discount offer, we dined here on a Monday, about 5:30PM. This was our first visit. The restaurant is located on busy Ocean Street. Parking was easy. My spouse very much enjoyed her seafood combination dish which had large shrimp, lobster and scrod accompanied broccoli and peapods. The sauce was scampi. The chef created this wonderful treat. I ordered the one of the specials and very much enjoyed this fresh haddock dish. Portions were good size. Service by Darlene was perfectly attentive and personal. The dining area is comfortable and not at all plush. The restrooms were spotless. We learned it offers a $ 38 dinner for two which includes a bottle of wine. Overall, we were satisfied and will definitely return

I absolutely adore Bondo’s. Every time I come here I enjoy it so much. Everything is delicious, I am never disappointed with a meal I’ve gotten here. The seafood is fresh, with generous portions, the red sauce is delicious, the steak is top notch. I wish there were a few more choices on the menu and that they would update the décor. Other than that, I’m a huge fan and every time I eat at Bondo’s, it’s a sure thing that I’m going to have a great meal.

The food was sub par at best. The olive oil served with the bread was terrible and the bread was stale. The chicken with a pasta dish was over cooked and flavorless. The atmosphere was nice and we were seated quickly. Our waiter was loud and intrusive. It has potential but we will not go back again.

Our party of three was seated immediately on a Friday night. Service was attentive throughout the night, even when the restaurant was at capacity. Our server had great comments about the menu and specials– even asked at one point if we had a Groupon available at the time. Despite the small size of Bondos, we had no negative experience with being too cramped or overwhelmed by a need to eavesdrop on neighboring tables. We started with oysters, which were tasty. Entrees included a chicken caesar salad, shrimp ravioli and grilled salmon. All meals were delicious. I agree with other reviews that comment on the disparity between the outside appearance and the quality of the food. If I’m spending more than $ 20 on an entrée, I want the whole experience from the culinary to the surroundings. If you haven’t been to Bondos yet, grab a Groupon or other similar deal and check it out for yourself. It’s probably not going to become a regular place for us, but maybe it will for you!

Bondo has the best pork chop special(and I am old enough to have a lot of pork chops). This is an awesome town restaurant that I highly recommend.

Had a wonderful experience here this evening. I had the double pork chop, my wife had the Pappardelle, my father the Chicken Parm, and my mother the Fra Diavolo. The food was excellent and the prices were very reasonable. Lastly, the service was friendly and attentive. Out waiters name was Mike and he was excellent. His service was very friendly and he gave me a great recommendation when I could not decide between the pork chop or the steak. I would definitely come here again, a great restaurant that compares favorably with the Boston restaurants we typically frequent!

I’ve been to bondo’s several times and have always liked it. The setting is quiet and relaxing, though if it’s crowded it can feel a little cramped. Service has always been good and they are there when you expect them to be. I often get oysters to start and they always seem to have island creeks from duxbury which are my favorite. Last time they forgot to cut the adductor, which is a little annoying but not a big deal. We also usually get the calamari to start which I think is the best thing on their menu. Its not the usual boring dish most places have — its a large plate prepared with crumbled Gorgonzola, some salad, some sausage, and the calamari is always cooked well. I often get the carbonara for a main dish which consists of grilled chicken, ziti, peas, and a creamy sauce. The chicken is always cooked perfectly, as is the pasta, and the peas taste very fresh. Best dinner place if you live nearby.

Yuck. The food was a weird mix of all things that didn’t go together. I chose the safest option, the chicken parm, only to be disappointed with a poorly drained plate of pasta and lots of things that look like they came right out of a can. The veal meatballs were gray blobs that left so much to be desired. My husband got the pork, which our server told us was cooked rare. What? Call me crazy, but I am pretty sure that is also an invitation for food poisoning. I wouldn’t go so far as to say the food was inedible, but it was not even near being up to par. The only redeeming quality here was our great and very enthusiastic waiter who did his best to make our experience good.

If I didn’t know what a gem of a place this is I would drive right by it. I have had several friends tell me they haven’t tried it because of the way it looks. Please don’t let the outside appearance stop you from going in. The inside is cozy and clean. The food and staff are amazing. I have tried just about every on the menu and I have not been disapointed yet! I went there last week with a friend and we talked about how good our meal was for several days after.

Food was excellent. Service left a bit to be desired. We had a waiter that didn’t fit the theme that Bondo’s is trying to establish. He seemed a bit rough around the edges and was crass and sarcastic. The restaurant itself is small and cute with a nice atmosphere. Prices are on the mid– to– higher end, ranging from $ 15 — $ 25 for entrees. The food really was 5 stars — but the service definitely was not. Honestly, the food was good enough and fairly priced enough that I would probably suffer through the poor service again. They give you a nice basket of homemade breads(some with garlic and rosemary) with dipping oil. At our table, we got Chicken Parmesan; Chicken Carbonara; Sirloin Steak; and Scrod with Sweet Potato Mashed and Pea Pods with White Beans. All of us thought our entrees were excellent and for that, I gave it five stars. Kudos to the chef who knows definitely what s/he is doing in the kitchen!!!

Visited this restaurant for the first time June 2013. I must say I was pleasantly surprised at how wonderful the food was. My dining companion and I started with house salads. Salads were fresh and very ample portion. One salad would easily serve two. For an entrée I ordered chicken parm. Oh my gosh delish! The presentation of this dish was phenomenal. My plate consisted of two good sized chicken breasts, pasta, broccoli rabe, green beans and a sprinkling of fava beans. The veggies made the dish pop with color! Very large and very reasonable priced menu items. I got 2 full meals out of my chicken parm dinner. My dining companion ordered one of the evening specials which was a pasta bolognese. Very good! I used an Amazon or Travelzoo deal coupon. No problem with using coupon. All in all, it was a very enjoyable experience. I will definitely be back. I might also add that the restaurant runs some great weeknight deals. Check out the website.

We have eaten at Bondo’s before, and had decent meals. Tonight was unacceptable. I had the buttered lobster lasagna, the sauce tasted bitter, and the alcohol was not cooked off. The lobster was rubbery. The pasta was so undercooked, it was hard. When they brought the dish out, it had been sitting so long that the sauce had congealed. Eww. My husband had the chicken parm, and his pasta was also hard. Service was unattentive, our waitress spent most of the night chatting at the bar. Will not return.

There is a rule about accessorizing that says, «Take off one accessory before you leave the house.» I would say to Bondo, «Leave out one ingredient.» Many of the dishes sound far too complicated. I was all set to order the calamari, until I read that it was topped with gorgonzola. Really? My dining companion had the Caesar salad which had olives in it. Personally, I don’t want olives in my Caesar salad and neither did Caesar. My companion, however, seemed to love them. In fairness, I ordered my salmon medium rare, and it arrived medium rare — not an easy trick, it seems and one that many restaurants fail to accomplish. My biggest complaint is that I ordered a glass of Chardonnay which arrived in a huge wine glass and appeared to be about 3 ounces. Grrrr. The food(with the exception of my perfect salmon) was a bit on the heavy side: heavy sauces and ingredients like figs and balsamic adorning foods better off without adornment.

Don’t judge by its exterior. Inside holds delicious delights. Tables set with small tea light candles & cloth napkins. Food = Top notch. Homemade style, local ingredients, eg: Duxbury oysters. App: 5 cheese grilled cheese w/homemade tomato soup. Entrée: Nice duck dish. Dessert: very tasty, home made lemon square. I hear the banana cream pie is fantastic, but, the day I went, Bondo himself, didn’t like the way it came out, thus Not on the menu. Best dinner I’ve had in Marshfield. Try it… I’d bet the house, you’ll Enjoy !!

My wife and I visited Bondo’s last week. We couldn’t wait for him to open his newest restaurant because his food is consistently excellent. I had the Buttered Lobster Lasagna(off the hook) and my wife had a seafood pasta dish that she loved. The bread is homemade, but I was a bit disappointed that we didn’t get the hummus that he used to make. This is an excellent addition to our neighborhood!
