Purity Foot Spa

I think it’s my third time coming here in a month. They have good prices and private rooms, I saw an open room that I believe looks to be where you get your heat stone treatment but not really sure. It’s a walk in kind of place which I LOVE because I don’t like having to work around others schedule, you work for me! I wish my stupid boyfriend would of got me a gift card here instead of some other place I have to schedule an appointment and wait a month for a stupid massage how inconvenient. :(I can’t wait to try all their staff here. I believe they have 3 women and one dude. I tried two of them so far and got the same one on my third visit from previous visit. She’s a young cute lady, and shes very thorough and Really good, might already be my favorite! Did i say i love asain women? ;) I also like that they wipe you down with a hot towel after massage. The facility is nice and clean, so I’ll be going here quite often.

I’m big on checking reviews for places so I scoured through so many nail people and finally put my trust into one and I am truly grateful I found her! I highly recommend Katessa at Purity Salon and I got a gel manicure with nail art and this was the finished product In the pictures

Stress relief at its finest. My wife and I came for our first visit today as a birthday gift. It was absolutely amazing. The ladies really know how to target your problem areas. It’s a clean and relaxing environment. I would recommend this local Marina gem to anyone!

I have been coming to Purity since they opened about 2 years ago and I continue to come and support because they are the bomb! So sweet and gentle and I love it!

I’ve been wanting to come here for a while and finally did. It was great– relaxing, dimly lit (which I liked) and only $ 40 plus tip for the combo massage.

The worst place I’ve been to by far. Boyfriend and I went to the back room and had to take our shirts off, the guy unhooked my bra which was awkward. And then he proceeded to spend the next hour pulverizing me. I kept asking him to go softer but he would just go harder. I honestly thought he was TRYING to bruise me (I walked away with a few bruises). And I recently had tailbone surgery and he proceeded to put his forearm and elbow right in the spot and when I cried out in pain and tried to tell him to stop, he went harder. I was crying it was so painful and finally my boyfriend sat up and had to yell at him to stop touching that area. So basically I got beat up for $ 90 ($ 40 each plus a tip). I will NEVER return. Ever.

I went here with my friends and it was awesome, I had the full body and I will be going back for more !!

O-​M-​G!!! Finally found my go-​to massage place on the Monterey Peninsula! After trying different places for the past two years, I could not believe I had never been to Purity.
My friend who lives in Marina recommended it, and although I was hesitant to drive all the way out there at first (from Carmel) I thought it might be worth a try… and boy was I right!
We chose the $ 40 option which they call a «combo massage» which practically includes full body for one hour. My friend and I got taken to one of the couple massage rooms which was perfect because it was not out in the open, which meant more peace and quiet for us.
We took our shirts and bra off, but left our sweatpants on. Not really sure what the clothing rules are because they didn’t explain when we arrived, but thankfully what we did was ok (or at least no one said anything).
The massage was a perfect combination of the right pressure, oils, and distribution on the body. I even fell asleep for a bit (and snored apparently…) as it was so relaxing.
My masseuse was Leo and he did a phenomenal job. I will request him when I go again next time.

I love coming to this foot spa. They always do an awesome job. The customer service is great!!! I try to go at least once a month with my husband. We used to do the 1 hour foot massage but now we do the combination massage. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Got the $ 25 foot massage and I was surprised they do your upper body too. Such a good deal. I always come back here whenever I need to relax after gym or if I’m tired from work. I even got my aunties and parents to go here. They love it!

I ended up going back the next day and had another ninety minute massage but this time with a female massage. This one was just okay. They were a lot busier during the day. Being in the back room, it was actually noisier this time because the back door was propped open so I could hear cars moving and car doors slamming. Plus people going back and forth to the bathroom and to get water for the foot massages. I think I also smelled someone smoking:(. Anyways, I wouldn’t mind going back but it’s no longer a five star for me because the massage was subpar. The front guy was still cool:)

The same Chinese song played over & over for my entire 60-​minute foot massage, which became more & more surreal as I sunk deeper & deeper into the comforts of the leather chair & into my masseuse’s hands.
«Foot» massage is a bit misleading; the foot massage portion of the treatment, which starts with a soak, only lasts about 20 – 25 minutes. The rest of the time is devoted to thoroughly melting away other aches & pains, starting with your scalp, & working down to your shoulder, arms, & hands. Finally, you flip over & get an amazing back rub. All this occurs with your clothes on.
My masseuse Marry was fantastic. She understood that I liked a medium amount of pressure, & used that intensity throughout my entire massage.
I’m so happy to see that Purity uses plastic bag liners in their soaking buckets, ensuring a sanitary place for your feet to bathe.
$ 24.99 for a 60-​minute foot massage. Friendly front desk guy, masseuse who listens to your preferences, highly recommended!

My apple navigation didn’t take me directly here, so I had to do a little looking, but it wasn’t very difficult to find. The staff is very welcoming, soft spoken & overall relaxing. I got the full body massage. They focused a lot on my shoulder muscles, which became a little painful, but it didn’t last long. I feel GREAT! Overall, very satisfied

Nice foot spa. We go here when we want a nice, refreshing, and inexpensive rubdown. Not too sure on the pricing structure. We pay $ 25 for an hour massage. That includes a 20 minute foot rubdown. Nice place, nice staff.

A stressful and long day at work, my body begged for a massage. I was having left side neck and shoulder pains since this morning. So after work I was contemplating where to get a massage, since this place has the most consistent massages that I like I opted to go here. This time around since I did have specific problems I had to bump up my frugalness and instead of the foot massage for $ 24.99 which includes the shoulder, leg, arms, face, back, head and neck, I got the hour combo of back, shoulders neck 30 min and foot massage 30min.
As always I made my appointment a head of time, just to make sure when I got there I would not wait awhile. I was brought into a private room with one massage table. I laid on my stomach and Ella (I think that is her name or it sounded like it) started to massage my back. She did ask how I would like the pressure. I am a medium chick but she was bit on the softer side so I told her hard. Which was more to my liking. She knew my left side was more tensed without even speaking, she just kneaded and concentrated on it but she did not neglect the right side by all means. It felt really good slightly painful because I was stiff but I wanted and needed all the toxins to be released.
After the back massage was the foot massage. I was wondering if they would have a water bath like they do for the foot massage but instead she wrapped my feet with a warm towel then scrubbed it a bit. Then she did the foot reflexology. She was on the soft side but I could still feel the nerves in my head tingle and was relaxing do she must be doing it right.
I still love my $ 24.99 massage but if I need splurge I will totally to do this again. My neck and shoulder is still tight but I can definitely move it more than earlier today and it is in less pain. I did notice that her time was about 5 minutes short. But I was happy with the massage, I will not complain about the 5minutes. Oh the one thing I did miss with the $ 24.99 massage, which they didn’t have with the back combo is the head and face massage… That is one of my favorite parts even if it is a short but.
There is a sign that says if you write a review for Unilocal,print it out and they will give you $ 5 off your next massage … I did not show them my post nor do I plan on doing so. I pay and tip good service just as I write my reviews.

We were pleasantly surprised when we found this place. They were able to accommodate all four of us at a moments notice. It was very clean and we all came out very relaxed. The gentleman did my massage and he was wonderful! Excellent deep tissue massage. Thinking about going back tomorrow!

2^nd time I’ve had the same masseuse and the massage was awesome but the employee smokers need to move away from the door. It entered my space during my massage and the smell was so bad and overwhelming. Also too much chatter in the break room – it’s supposed to be quiet and relaxing! I enjoy the music and very reasonably priced.

Massages are a treat, this place is a real deal. Been there three times always felt like I was being undercharged. I would recommend the place as a gem in Marina, California.
