Birthday dinner. Menu had my name on the top wishing me a happy bday which was a nice touch. The steak were amazing. Well cooked, a good sized portion, and definitely worth the price. The sides like the soups and French fries also were of the same quality as the steaks. Great spot to treat yourself or celebrate a special occasion.

Love love love the taste of my petite ribeye! That garlic butter is like magic on a sizzling steak on a 500 degree plate. The steak was tender and flavorful for being cooked medium, since I shared a little with my three year old(I usually get medium rare at fine steak places). I truly enjoyed savoring each bite, carefully contemplating the texture and slowly mastering its taste. I am a fan! The waiters are all very attentive and informative. Our waiter told me all about the qualities of each cut. I learned a thing or two! It was the perfect venue to celebrate our UCLA grad’s achievements. Exceptional food and service all together. Thank you Ruth’s Chris!

Always a great meal! I’ve eaten at other Ruth Chris restaurants, so I kind of know what to expect. The atmosphere is very romantic at night and the food, as always is prepared very nicely. Steaks couldn’t be any better unless you choose Maestros. My server was pretty good but needed to loosen up a bit. I felt like he was my butler and I guess I wanted him to be a little friendlier. The service was very fast at the beginning and then slow in getting the entrees. A little more balance could have improved our evening. All in all, the food was very good and you won’t go wrong in eating here.

Food wise I give Ruth’s Chris always 5 stars but service was a bit lacking in this particular location. Don’t get me wrong, the staff was nice but our steak just took too long after the apps to cone out. I wasn’t a big fan of the layout of this one. I think they tried to get more hip with this particular location and lost a bit of the Ruth Chris old school vibe. They have a huge bar area which is nice but just not my favorite Ruth’s Chris. I highly recommend the bone in fillet. You’ll be savoring every bite. If you love meat. Ruth’s Chris will not let you down.

Friend: «Let’s go to Ruth’s Chris!» Me: «Sure, why not?!» Sooo. I’ve actually only been to this restaurant once before. as I’m not a red meat eater nor do I typically fancy chain restaurants. No shade… I just feel like the quality is sketch. Which is exactly what happened tonight. Reservation was made for 9pm… we were seated at 9:20. I meeeean. we were a larger group and I understand it gets busy. but it’s a Wednesday night. and I would describe the crowd as steady… def not busy. So I’m not really sure what happened here. Finally being seated. We placed our orders… with the impression that we would receive our meals within a timely fashion. This was not the case. It took an insanely long time to bring out just the starters. and this carried on throughout the meal. You know it’s bad when guests start ordering dessert before they’ve received their salad(in attempts to shorten the wait time). Whats more unnerving. is that our server seemed to be completely aloof when I inquired about our meal. Sir. Have you not realized it’s taking forever? And although our server was quite pleasant – when asked about the flavor of a wine selection. he replied that he «didn’t know» what it tasted like. And that was it. I know I’ve only been to this restaurant once. but I assumed they had better service per the price point. Perhaps he could’ve offered to find out that information or suggested a tasting. That’s just my opinion though… and possibly proper etiquette. but that’s neither here nor there. Food wise – lobster bisque? Not so much. Such a bitter aftertaste. Otherwise-everyone else enjoyed their meals.(Post sending a steak back due to improper temperature.) I’d like to say that I’ll be coming back here. but honestly – it’s not on my things to do list.

So my best friend Mordecai listens to and notes everything I like, everywhere I want to go, and the stuff on my bucket list — and since Ruth’s Chris was one of my desires, of course Mordecai took up the charge. Yesterday, he treated me to the most scrumptious meal there — the sizzlling lump crab cakes with a garlic butter drizzle, a loaded baked potato, and a refreshing glass of pino grigio(a to z)… From the soft buttered bread to the last drop of refreshing water, this meal was king! The service was impeccable, and there was no stone unturned in flavoring our dishes(he dined on a 20-oz steak and garlic mashed potatoes… yummers!!)… When Mordecai and I are together, we lose track of time — and being there together at Ruth’s Chris was no different. I truly enjoyed my meal, but I doubt it would have been nearly as enjoyable if we had not been together. Thank you, Ruth’s Chris, for helping my best friend Mordecai to make one of his favorite girl’s dreams come deliciously true!

Finally, after several years of my nephew joking about how he would like to go to have dinner for his birthday. I treated him .just because. I had the ribeye bone in and my nephew had the New York steak plus we must have had almost every side dish that they offered. I figured he could have the full experience since I probably won’t be taking him back for at least another few more years lol The steaks melted in your mouth and although I ordered mine medium rare which could have come across to some as steak tartar because it seems so red… It was probably one of the best I’ve had in a very long time. Everything was delicious and the service was impeccable. I’m definitely coming back for happy hour! Great drinks and cool hangout spot.

You can say Ruth’s Chris hit the ‘spot’ in more ways than one. Their New York Strip T-Bone steak and Filet mignon fill you up along with a selection of cocktails and side dishes to make it a complete meal. Spoiler alert: your wallet will also feel the ‘spot’ too once you pay for the meal. I can say it is worth it to make a visit; comfortable atmosphere, pleasant seating, easy parking in the lot adjacent to the restaurant or across the street and best of all, waiters and waitresses ready to take your picture if asked. Again, their meals are expensive but if you’ve never been to a top-flight steakhouse like Ruth’s Chris before and you have a craving to a good meal, this is the place to go.

I have to say Ruth Chris has one of the best Filet Magnon, I have ever tasted. Now, the meal was pricey($ 66.00 cough, cough). However, when it comes to the quality this restaurant is a winner. Furthermore, the ambiance was classy and sleek. I would highly recommend this place. Nevertheless, it will put a little dent in your pocket book.

Amy was a great bartender, attentive and fun. Happy hour was(simple food) delicious. It could be better by adding a couple of more items to the menu…

The seafood tower is a must! For the price, they give you a lot of food. The king crab, lobster, and shrimps are meaty. I didn’t have to do much to get to the meat inside the shell. I was glad they didn’t bring butter for the lobster and king crab. I think butter is so unnecessary when the food is fresh. I don’t eat mammals and they have good chicken and fish options. The sea bass was amazing! It was a huge portion and I enjoyed it down to the very last bite. The chicken was also great. This is my second time coming to this Ruth’s Chris, their food quality is very consistent. The female server I had this time was amazing. She checked on us regularly and made sure everything was okay. Overall, I look forward to coming back again.

I can’t believe we rang up a $ 300 bill so easily and so quickly!!! Next time we will be more careful. We tried all the vintage wines which were excellent! We had stuffed mushrooms for the appetizer, a salad, the sweet potatoes which were incredible, and a steak. This was an amazing meal and I can’t wait to go back.

Great Happy Hour. Small but good menu. We had the steak sandwich and zucchini fries. Bearnaise sauce was just right. We’ve also had the lobster in butter sauce Yummm… They also have a special cocktail menu that makes us happy. Tip: Get there early — the bar is full by 5pm and seats get hard to find.

So I know people have told me Ruth Chris is the«bee’s knees» of steak joints. Well after tonight I like to beg to differ. My buddy decided for us to go here from a referral. Well I will break it down why I gave this place a two stars and it has nothing to do with being overpriced. I don’t mind spending money on quality. First our servers were more worried about turning on the gas lamps outside than taking our down orders. I get that it was a bit chilly, but you want to attend to the patrons first. It took 10 to 15 minutes to get our order. We ordered the Malbec which was great, I wasn’t hungry so my friend decided to get the rib eye with the kale apple salad and mashed potatoes. The cut of steak they brought out was predominantly fat. Probably the worst cut of steak I have seen in a fine dining establishment. The cut maybe would have flied at a Coco’s or TGIF. But when someone drops 50 plus dollars, I mean come on. I took a bite as well and it was nothing«wow» about it. Maybe the chef had an off-night. But when my friend said the best part of the meal was the salad, at a steak restaurant. We got some problems.

The overall experience was better this time than the last visit. I have been to four locations for Ruth Chris restaurants. This one is my favorite for a few reasons. There is more room than the Beverly Hills location and this one is a little nicer. It’s not as loud as the Beverly Hills location as well. The most important factor is the steak was done perfectly and was super tender. Along with the super hot plate makes it a home run. I usually get the large Filet Ruth’s Classic. I like the fact that Ruth Chris offers a package deal with a salad, entrée, side dish and dessert for one price. That is where they have the competition beat hand down!
I will be back!

I went for happy hour and it was SO good. Amazing service, great deals, delicious food, and even better martinis. A must go to! Their happy hour menu is pretty limited but they have great options. You have your hamburgers, sandwiches, salads, and cocktails. I got their cheeseburger with french fries and a dirty gin martini made with Hendrick’s. Their cheeseburger was very simple with good quality meat, sharp cheddar, lettuce, tomatoes, and raw onions. Nothing out of the ordinary but the quality of each ingredient made such a huge difference(especially the meat). My meat was unbelievably JUICY omg. So good. It was cooked to the perfect medium rare. The cheeseburger didn’t come with condiments on the burger but who needs it when the meat is that good? The fries were on the saltier side. But the entire meal only costed me $ 8?! Ridiculous(in a good way). My martini was more expensive than my meal LOL. Service was really good too. Our server was very energetic and constantly kept checking to see if we needed anything else. And they were very good with refilling our waters as well. Happy hour is only until 6:30, so make sure to come beforehand! It does get packed here too.

We came here to celebrate a family member’s birthday. I read some wonderful reviews and heard so many wonderful things about this location(from servers at the BH location) and I am so sorry that I was so disappointed. I wanted it to be great! The chicken dish was extremely salty. My husband was only able to eat half and the only reason he ate half is because he was starving. The shoe string fries were overcooked. The New York strips that three of us ordered were cooked to perfection. The bake potato with all the trimming was perfect. And the salad with blue cheese, apples and Carmel walnuts were delicious. The Cesar salad, is nothing to be impressed by. The service was not terrible, but it was not great. We were sat 15 minutes late for our 8:30pm reservation. The main reason we came to this location instead of our usual BH location was the sea-food tower, which we didn’t ordered once we found out it had no oysters, no clams, no muscles and no scallops. We saw a table with it and it was quite sad looking.

As a big fan of premium quality steaks, I would recommend Ruth Chris to anyone who shares my sentiments. Most people I’ve spoken with have praised not only the food, but the excellent quality of service. Even though it’s a chain restaurant, they certainly don’t abide by the stigma that most chain restaurants do. I especially love this Marina Del Rey location because it has an outdoor patio/fireplace setting for casual get-togethers as well as multiple spacious indoor seating areas for parties of all sizes! Like most steakhouses, they have an extensive beverage menu along with an array of steak options. Every side dish comes à la carte, so if you go with bigger groups, you can order a lot more! If you’ve never been to a Ruth Chris, please make a reservation at this place and enjoy your steak!

Went for Happy Hour. ALL of the staff we encountered were very friendly. :-) In the bar, the most comfortable and classy chairs in the whole wide world. OHYES. Melt in a chair and select from the HH menu of $ 8 delectables. I had the steak sandwich. mmmmmmmmm I must say that the cheeseburger looked even better. Next time 4 sure. The bathrooms are just great, in the American tradition of the best bathrooms in the world. YAY! Would like to slowly drink the wine wall. Very cool touch. This is just a very cool place to unwind. Happy Hour Review The deal for HH here is so great! This location is less than a 5 minute drive from my work, so some of my coworkers headed here to try out the menu offered. All the drinks and food on the HH menu is $ 8 each. The Royal Street Gin & Tonic was so delicious and smooth, but strong nevertheless. I couldn’t finish my drink because I still needed to drive home afterwards. The Crab BLT w/Zucchini Fries was equally as delicious. There was a thick layer of crab and a satisfying amount of zucchini fries. I was so full after eating both halves of the sandwich and the zucchini fries. I’ll definitely be back with my coworkers for drinks or dinner together after a long week.
