Yummers! Our first experience… a friend asked if we were in for pizza. Of course, say we! While the delivery seemed to take forever, the pizza’s were awesome! I have not had pizza like this in a very long time. Perfectly textured, thin crust pizza piled high with crispy and tasty ingredients. The crust was not soggy and held it’s own with the mound of toppings on it. Wow! I am super excited to try their salad’s and another pizza. It is very hard to find decent, much less really good thin crust pizza. Love the square cut too as I grew up with that.

I’ve been a loyal customer of this place for years. I love the one down in Redondo Beach. We recently moved to Playa Vista and wanted to continue getting good pizza. We ordered a pick up order of a BBQ Chicken Salad and the works gluten free pizza. My wife went inside and grabbed the pizza and salad. Upon returning home we discovered they had given us a BBQ Chicken Salad and a BBQ Chicken Pizza! I love BBQ but the wife not so much. I called the store to report the mistake and was told it would take 25 minutes to have a new pizza made and sent out to our location free of charge. Nicely handled. After waiting an hour and our correct pizza not arriving I called the location again and was told it should be there any minute and the manager apologized for the long wait and was told my our entire order would be reimbursed. 1 hour and 30 minutes later the wrongly made pizza finally arrived. The delivery guy was nice and apologized. He said he would let the manager how long it had taken. I wanted to wait at least 4 days before posting review because I know banks can take 72 hours to reimburse. 5 days later our order still has not been refunded. It’s a bummer because I used to love this place. The first mistake I get, the one hour wait pushing it… but 1.5 hours to get a pizza two miles away and never following up on what was promised has put us over the edge. I’ve heard Slice, Beach and Vinny’s pizza has really good pizza in Playa Vista area and 800° coming soon. This place has become too popular and clearly does not care about customer service any more.

Pizza sauce was good. Dough wasn’t fully cooked. $ 21 for a pizza you can get for $ 10 at Blaze/Pieology/800 degrees.

We were craving some Chicago style pizza but there’s none in the neighborhood so we decided to try Fresh Brothers deep dish pizza. It tasted«good» but nothing special. The crust was quite bready and bland, and could really use a little crisp and extra spices/seasoning. But I think perhaps my expectation was to high…

To be honest Fresh Brother is too expensive for what you receive… this wasn’t always the case but as they’ve grown their quality has decreased. To give you an idea a Medium combo pizza, with a 20% coupon still comes out to $ 22 after taxes and delivery fees… then it shows up kinda soggy and luke warm(not cool). Not even a large and I’m already over $ 20! That is just too much for me as the customer, regardless of the businesses overheard costs to even exist in Southern California. I don’t think I want to keep paying the prices, so I probably won’t be ordering from here to much anymore. I suggest these businesses start to contact their local politicians because you can’t expect middle-class people to keep flipping the bill on this insane inflation. Not with these insane steady rent increases, fuel prices, food prices, and CA taxes…

SOGGYPIZZA. I recently moved into the neighborhood and my DH and I have tried FB a few times and every time the pizza is soggy in the center. Whether we get a pizza with toppings or just plain cheese and ask for light cheese, it’s always super soggy(I have a feeling they put extra cheese even though our order said light). Our last pizza was also stuck to the cardboard pizza takeout box. The wings are tasty but super fatty. The tables inside are uncomfortable and too low for tall people — no clearance to cross your legs.

Great pizza whether delivery or in shop. Usually get the thin crust and it is always cooked to perfection and not soggy like others. With everything of option and generous with the toppings they make a excellent pie. I like this location especially as they are quick and prompt with the service and delivery.

Although FB got an average of 4 stars, apparently people have taste buds that aren’t fully functioning, or allergic. This place is a place to get healthy pizza, and it taste like it too! Gluten Free and for Vegas speaks for itself. Of course if your hungry it taste good! What doesn’t? I had their pizza a couple times only to see what the hype was about. The second time I had it, I was just as disappointed and you’ll be too. If you want a real pizza you may want to Unilocal around. There are some great places in the area. If I want healthy pizza, I’m going to get a salad. If I want a real pizza, I’m not going here. Peace out.

Great service, fast food and DELICIOUS! This day just gets better and better. Had a really good meeting across the street and now lunching here. Decided to do the fiscally responsible thing and have the company pick up lunch at a pizza joint vs Sugarfish next door.(I love their omakase but pizza is at the core of my being… then again, so is McDonald’s. Don’t hate. So not your color!) 7 TVs from news to sports to cartoons… if I had a man cave, this would be pretty close.(Need some comfy sofa beds and my doggie to be complete.) Darren recommended the meatball slider which looks really good but since I have a medium sausage pizza coming, I opted to skip that but he did give me some free knots for checking in here on Unilocal. So on to the food — pizza = good. Hot, fresh and not too much cheese or sauce. 4⁄5. A little more herb in the sauce. The knots — 4⁄5. Cinnamon and sugar glazing. What’s not to like? Does need a little more icing for my personal taste. Overall, 4⁄5 for the food but Darren and his personality gets the 5th star. Come here for the food and say Hi to Darren! It’s a fun and very relaxed pizzeria. Two forks and knives up with one very happy belly to boot! I’m a bit of a pizza freak. You can see from my reviews that I don’t write often unless your joint inspires me or plain pisses me off. This place so far is on the up and up. Darren is super cheerful and nice. They even deliver, I think.(I was eavesdropping on someone else’s order… sue me. I have no earwax so hearing rocks right now!)

I’ve bought from Fresh Brothers three times. The first was exactly what I expected from a place that comes so recommended: good food with prompt and easy service. The second was less than stellar, with the food arriving probably an hour after the quoted time. It was still good, though. It was nice to have a pizza place nearby that I didn’t absolutely detest. This third time, however, was pretty miserable. Okay, miserable is probably dramatic. But I’ve never had to wait a half hour for ten hot wings. Now, I can understand some delay given that this was Oscar night. But seriously, three minutes per wing? That seems excessive. They seemed busy. I get that. But they were also over-staffed for the night I’m not joking when I say that I saw around 10 people working in that small kitchen. I’ve only ever seen more people standing around doing nothing on CSPAN. One cashier, who was either remarkably unsocial or had an acute attitude for the night was walking back and forth and only offered to help me when I made direct eye contact. One guy was intent to soak up every drop of a spilled orange Fanta. How the Fanta spilled remained a mystery, but his dedication was something to be seen. He must have passed that paper towel a dozen times over a dry countertop. Then there was another guy who sorted some chairs in the dining area, and then took a seat to watch Joe Biden on the Oscar’s. I don’t know if he was on the clock, but it wouldn’t be surprising if he was. At about the 20 minute mark of waiting for our wings, I approached the counter to inquire how much longer we’d be waiting. Our other food was getting cold and I was ready to go home, eat, and watch F is for Family. The cashier seemed really put out that I was asking her, but she began the search. Then someone else came, inquired what I was waiting for, and joined her in the search. They disappeared. Two minutes later, I see a guy tossing my wings and it immediately made sense: either he 1) was personally going in the back, butchering and cleaning the chicken, and blending his own spices or 2) forgot. I suppose the third option is that he was tremendously busy and didn’t have time to tend to the wings. If that was the case, he could have grabbed someone standing around to help. Hell, i would have hopped back there and helped. I won’t speculate as to what happened. The pizza is good — packed with flavor. I’ll just not order from Fresh Brothers. If someone else orders and waits, I’ll gladly eat it.

The pizza is good but beware of ordering there«1 topping and 4 wing pizza.» They don’t specify how big it is, and the man on the phone who took my order never told me that it would come in a baby portion. So I spent $ 20 for 4 mini slices of pizza. That is ridiculous. I will never go back to that place. They need to hire someone who can make an online menu clear as to what you are ordering, or just hire someone who can convey what you’re ordering.

Fresh Brothers does pizza exactly how it should be done. Don’t come here expecting fancy ingredients, fancy crusts, or some wacky take on pizza. It’s just greasy, good, filling pizza without any frills. And I love it. Their gluten free pizza was BYFAR the best plain-old pizza I’ve ever had. The crust is somewhere between thin and thick so it doesn’t have that dreaded crunchy cardboard characteristic. It wasn’t too crisp or too floppy or too anything at all. Seriously, it was just perfect. And best of all: their gluten free crust is celiac-friendly! I’m super sensitive and had no reaction! With sizing, I was warned that their gluten free version of the personal pizza was even smaller than their display. And their display size was already pretty darn small… So I opted for their medium full-size pizza, and for $ 15 I was super happy. I had enough for lunch and enough leftover for another meal. Other gluten free take-out pizza places charge $ 20 and up for a pizza that’s just enough for dinner. By LA standards, this place is a steal. Also, my friend, who has no dietary restrictions, commented that her normal pizza and chicken wings were really really good, so it’s not just a place to come if you’re gluten free or vegan or something! If I find out Fresh Brothers’ Hollywood Hills location can deliver to my apartment, I might be eating their pizza an unhealthy amount. And either way, I’ll definitely be back whenever I’m near a location! Thanks for making the best gluten free pizza I’ve found in LA to date!

Excellent vegan pizza!!! Best for take out. The only thing is delivery orders have been wrong about 3 times. The pizza is so good and not far, so I continue to go back. Take out is best because the beverage cups they give are small, and the bathroom seems to always be occupied when you need to wash your hands. Otherwise, great pizza!

We ordered online and got«deep dish» which is nothing close to deep dish pizza. It was the depth of a pretty average pizza. The crust was soggy, tough and chewy all at the same time. The sauce had a lot of sugar in it. The greek salad and cinnamon roll was good and delivery was fast but the online ordering system is terrible. Probably the blandest pizza I’ve ever eaten. Bleh.

My boyfriend and I have become huge fans of Fresh Brothers this past year. It started with the coupon welcoming us to the neighborhood, and it’s become one of our favorite pizza places. The pizzas are thin crust with a great red sauce. My boyfriend is from Chicago and the sauce reminds him of his favorite pizza place from home :) We always get a pizza with pepperoni and sausage, usually with a side of wings for me. I am also a huge fan of the wings — not too heavy with the sauce or breading. My boyfriend is a big mozzarella fan and restaurants are just always«okay» but Fresh Brothers knows how to make them right!

I’ve been here a few times and they have yummy tasting pizza without the greasiness of a «regular» pizza place although it wish it were slightly cheaper. I suggest calling and ordering ahead of time even if you’re dining in because they get very busy at times and you’ll have quite a wait. There are many different toppings and three different crust choices(their deep dish was actually good, thoroughly baked/not doughy!) I also love that the employees are friendly and attentive! I’ll definitely choose fresh bros over anyone else any time I get a pizza craving.

Here’s what I learned tonight: 1. Fresh Brothers is not stingy with their toppings. My pizza was totally, totally covered. 2. They do sausage really well – Chicago-style 3. A personal sized pizza is definitely enough for one hungry person who really kind of wanted to order herself a medium. Or large. Because she was starving. 4. This location is a bit of a goat rodeo – this the reason for the subtracted star. Two messed up orders while I was waiting for mine, and then I got home to find that my order was wrong. 5. If you check in on Unilocal, they give you free sweet knots.(Or in my case, a pepperoni pizza in a box that should have housed sweet knots.)(The universe’s way of telling me I’ve already had too much sugar today.)

5 stars. All the way. Fresh brothers is amazing! I’m only reviewing for the gluten free pizza. I have Celiac Disease so that’s how I roll. The gluten free crust is pretty good! Very thin but not cracker like and has good flavor. My non-gluten free husband likes it a lot as well and will usually just share mine. I also love how they give different size options for the gluten free pizza(small and medium). ANDDD they have a sticker on the box explaining that their gluten free kitchen prep is in accordance with the Celiac Foundation guidelines… boom! They’re awesome for doing this! Now the toppings… oh man… so good! We recently tried the Mediterranean pizza. SOMUCHFLAVOR! I’ve had many Med pizzas before as it’s one of my faves but this one blows the others out of the water! I can’t even describe to you why or how but it’s just legit. Fresh ingredients and tons of toppings. They don’t skimp. Love that it’s just down the street from me now!

1FREE meatball slider when you check in on Unilocal! It’s delicious. A nice sweet bun with a savory and tender meatball. If that doesn’t lure you in, I don’t know what will. FOOD: I customized a pizza with pepperoni, sausage, onions, fresh mozzarella, and sausage. WOW. This pizza was fantastic! The crust wasn’t New York style thin but it had a great bite to it. I also loved the char on it. Best part of all, the pizza did not fall apart when I took a bite into it. With some fresh crushed red pepper, the pizza is absolutely fabulous. I also got an order of their chopped salad which was really fresh! All of the ingredients were perfectly ripe and added a good contrast to the salty pizza. SERVICE: Amazing and they were really quick! I placed an order to go and everything was all ready when I got there. They were also really nice and hooked it up with the extra red pepper and parmesan cheese. Kudos to the guy who took our order and let us get the free slider even though we weren’t dining in. Although this pizza is pricier in comparison to other ones, it is definitely worth it!

I really have been a fan of Fresh Brothers, ordering from both the Marina and Beverly Hills locations. However, I have noticed both locations going downhill in both quality and service. Last night we ordered a pizza and a salad. Large pizza, 1.5 toppings, and a farmers salad, I think it’s called. This place is pricey, $ 31+ for these two items. We ordered for delivery, and were told 60 minutes. At just over an hour, I called. The person who answered the phone said the driver had left 15 minutes earlier and would follow up. I got a call a short time later saying he would be there in 3 – 4 minutes. Overall, the delivery time was about 1 hour 20 minutes. The pizza was not hot. The delay interfered with our schedule. Not sure we will order again unless it’s pickup.
