Charla’s Place

When my husband and I lived in MDR we always used to come here to find cute little things for our little pup, as well as creative knick-​nacks you couldn’t find anywhere else! Really neat shop with lots to look at! My pup still has tons of cute accessories from this place!

I loved this store … I am so sad to see that they are no longer there! I did most of my Christmas shopping there last year. If you know where they moved to, please let me know. I cannot find them anywhere!!! Thanks!

So much to love about the store — Charla and her employees are super girlies and it’s a fun experience to shop at the store. Charla actually customize and can embellish anything with Swarovski crystals — from license plates, pill cases to tank tops (I have all the Lakers tanks!)
It’s a great gift store, they have a variety of Loungefly Hello Kitty items and probably the entire line of Fluff cases. That’s what I usually check out when I go in!
They also have jewelry, hats, clothes, pet stuff and baby clothes.
Their online store is still up and running, but it’s not as comprehensive as the store. Can’t wait to see where they’ll end up!

I’ve been looking for a «boutique» where I can buy cute clothes and accessories, without spending a fortune or going all the way up to Montana Ave., Melrose, 3^rd St., Robertson, BH, or Santee Alley. Charla’s Place is the west side’s answer to completely wearable, affordable, non-​mall clothes and accessories for adults, kids, pets, and home! Plus, Charla herself actually works there and is *super* sweet, knowledgeable about all the products, able to offer suggestions, etc. This is not your typical snooty boutique only carrying clothes for size sub-​zero petites. Prices are completely reasonable, and be sure to check out the Clearance rack at the very back of the store. I got an amazingly cute top and dress for $ 20 each! Good quality stuff, too. And I just love getting that question, «OMG, that is SO cute, where did you get it?!» So glad to have found this local, neighborhood boutique ~ and she just expanded with a 2^nd location in the El Segundo Plaza (though I haven’t been to that one).

Great place for pet accessories. They can make a custom shirt for your pet with their name in any font you choose.
Owner and staff are super nice and friendly here.

Hallelujah! A store in the Marina with fun kids stuff! There are also some fun things for adults and doggies. Fun and not too pricey! Yeah!
