Any place that looks even remotely like an authentic Mexican food place will be where I’ll be going.(Take note Taco Bell: rough up your exterior and I might come back.) The Jumping Bean is fairly new and although there is no discernible theme inside, it is a comfortable place to eat. There is one TV(on that day programmed to children’s shows,) but it sort of added to the ambiance. Perusing the menu there where a lot of pictures and not too many explanations but the prices where super reasonable! My whole meal was less than $ 10. I ordered the Barbacoa Quesadilla. It was listed with black beans, green peppers and onions. At that time, they didn’t have all of those ingredients so what came out was Barbacoa, Onions and Cheese, still really, pretty good. My friend got the Make Your Own Burrito, he said it was good but also huge! He was not able to finish it. On the table was… Sriracha!!! Ah, so good and added some extra spiciness to that barbacoa. Not sure if it’s because they’re new or just not quite prepared but try the food or at least the ingredients they have available!
