Tacos son excelentes! The tacos here are authentic and fulfilled my craving for street food. The location might be in a less attractive area, but the quality is there. They have a wide selection of sauces, which accommodate the rich flavor. Look forward to future visits.

El huarache veloz is a very nice and simple restaurant to enjoy some real authentic Mexican food in the Cobb parkway Roswell rd Marietta area. The restaurant has a variety of options that you will most certainly not or ever get at your local Taco Bell. The menu is very easy to read they have the Spanish name for the food along with the translated word next to it. This place is not expensive but watch what you buy it quickly adds up. They have a variety of meats to choose from to create your meal wether that is a taco or torta to the hefty burritos they have to offer. They have some option that are much better for lunch that is if your looking to save a few bucks on a fulfilling lunch I recommended the burritos it comes with rice and beans. This burritos is loaded with meat and they do not go stingy on their meat either. Also their tacos are very tasty! These are what real tacos should taste like. The tacos are made out of two corn tortillas along with your choice of meat with onions and cilantro. My third favorite dish there was the torta Mexican style burger or sandwich u can say. That comes with lettuce tomatoes onions avocados cheese beans and your choice of meat all on a toasty bun. Overall this place is very clean and with nice employees and the food was very tasty. I would highly recommend this place for real Mexican food.

Finally stopped to try this place. Ordered two tacos de cabeza, burrito pastor and a side of rice. The tacos de cabeza were delicious and very tender. The burrito pastor-pork was filling and full of flavor. The place is roomy and clean. I also got to practice my Spanish. Will visit again.

Went here on a Wednesday evening about 6 pm at the request of my kids’ Spanish teacher. Straight legit — authentic Mexican. This reminded me of the grub I got from the food trucks in Nuevo Laredo across the border. It’s the real deal. Don’t go there looking looking for crunchy«tacos» or «chalupas» — if that’s your thing, go to taco bell. Come here for the good stuff. Super clean, and the owner was really friendly. I’ll be a regular here.

This place is great — everything is authentic and delicious. It is very affordable and clean. If you like really good food you should visit here often. I have tried out almost every taqueria in the area and this is right there at the top of the list.

So I’m a bit of a Mexican food snob. So much so that I’ve considered starting a food blog about it. I hope that establishes enough credibility for the first review of this place. After all, I was the one who added the business to Unilocal,ha. Anyway! FIRSTIMPRESSION: 2 – 3 cars in the parking lot, but being a brand new business, I expected this. Upon walking in, I find it brightly lit with lots of color, but noticeably warm. I did notice a man paying attention to the A/C and he did say it wasn’t working, so they’re actively trying to remedy the situation — a good thing. I *have* to mention the salsa bar. Probably most impressed with it. There had to be seven different salsas as well as a bunch of other condiments. I should’ve snapped a picture of it.(Next time) MENU: Average size with your traditional taqueria fare: tacos, burritos, tortas, etc. FOOD: I ordered the steak Burrito Veloz lunch plate and a barbacoa taco. Got the food in about 5 minutes, so that’s good for the lunch crowd. Then again, they weren’t busy. The taco was first. It was good. Typical onions and cilantro that you’d find on a taqueria taco. Burrito plate came with black beans and rice, both of which were average, but what can you really expect from black beans and rice? Burrito was good, albeit somewhat chewy. There wasn’t much filling in the burrito. Seemed like more tortilla than anything else. The steak was good though. CONS: These things MUST be addressed: 1) Silverware. It was all plastic and the knife was obviously from a bulk picnic silverware box. It made cutting my burrito a nightmare. The knife was soft and flexible and couldn’t cut through soft butter. I have issue with any restaurant that gives its dine-in patrons plastic silverware. 2) A/C which appears to just be having technical difficulties today. 3) Salsa cups. FRUSTRATINGLYSMALL. They’re the 1 oz. plastic cups. You can’t dip a taco or even a bite of burrito into it and scooping it with chips? Forgetaboutit. OVERALL: I’ll be trying this place once a month or so to see the progression it makes. I think it’s got some good promise, which they’ll need for this location. Seems every restaurant ever in this building goes under. My hope is they this is one that stays around. The place just opened, so there’s that. Give them a bit of time to work out any kinks. Thanks!
