If I lived near by, Brother’s Meat and Seafood would get most of my paycheck. A perfect butcher shop.
I found Brother’s when I needed a whole hog and didn’t want to transport one from home. Not only did I need a hog, I needed one that was a little unusual, dressed it was to be over two hundred and forty pounds. The answer wasn’t no, or we can not, it was if you really want that, let me make a few calls. It wasn’t twenty minutes later and I had an answer. We can do it.
When my co-​smoking friend and I arrived I was stunned at the shop. Fresh sausages, steaks, roasts, bacon and tenderloins displayed proudly behind the glass. The seafood was stunning, the selections complete and numerous.
We were led into the back room where the largest hawg I have ever seen ready for the smoker dwarfed the cart it road upon I saw the tag on the ear which read #273. We were all impressed at the size and quality of the beast and I was able to help feed a wedding celebration with the most glorious smoked hawg of my life.
My grandmother often said, the praise goes to the butcher. Anyone who uses Brother’s will understand that statement. When I read the latest list that touted Butcher’s in the Twin Cities, I was disappointed that Brother’s was not listed.

Loved my steaks that we got here. I also received some amazing service. The person who helped me was great, answering all my questions in a professional and friendly way. Just perfect service.

This is the classic butchered meats, seafood, and deli market. It’s hard to find these gems but the town of Maple Grove is blessed with this wonderful, local business.
I come here weekly and it is amazing everytime. The variety and quality is perfect. I am a lunchmeat snob, lucky for me they carry my favorite — Boars Head brand. Their prices are very fair. Not only will you get better quality than any grocery meat counter but the customer service is outstanding. The entire staff I s well-​trained and therefore are all knowledgeable, helpful, patient, polite, and attentive. Since finding this place three months ago, I haven’t bought meat or delicuts anywhere else.
Their frozen premade selection makes it an easy one-​stop gourmet shopping experience for a family dinner or a large party.
They have great hours making it feasible to pick up items early morning or late after work.

I’ve been looking for a deli replacement for Cecil’s. I used to go there weekly when I lived in St. Paul but it’s just to far and out of the way for me now. Brother’s is near my work so it’s a convenient stop for me on my way home. I usually get the Thumans Roast Beef and some pepperjack cheese. I haven’t tried the seafood or much else here but someday I will and report back. Glad to find this place. Clancy’s is close to me but way to expensive for deli meat.
