There used to be another Plato’s Closet location which was my go-to store last time I was cleaning out my closet, but that was a couple years ago and it seems that store has gone downhill within the past year, judging from recent reviews, so I decided to try out this store even though it is slightly further from where I live this time around. The store is well-organized and has a wide selection of clothing for junior girls, and some for junior guys as well. Some unexpected items I found there include purses, jewelry, formal dresses(cocktail-length), swimsuits which look quite new, a pair of shorts from Nordstrom Rack with tags attached, and of course the usual like-new shoes, designer jeans, casual dresses, and tops. I would probably shop here if I was looking for a casual top, dress, or jeans, as their clothing looks quite new and trendy, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is in a college sorority(I remember how many new dresses and other outfits I had to get in my undergrad sorority days), as you can find nice stuff for a bargain here. As for selling clothes here, I only had luck selling two of the items I brought in; both were junior label items, one was from last year, and the other was from two years ago, so if you plan to sell here you will have better luck bringing items from 2 years ago or newer. The clothes I couldn’t sell were nice, still current fashions, and hardly worn, so I’m going to try to see if any of the other locations will take them. I’m not giving up yet! Although some other reviewers have complained about some of the staff at this store not being very customer-focused, the girl working in the store when I came in(Sunday afternoon) was nice and professional, so perhaps it depends on what day and time you visit the store. The location of this Plato’s Closet is nice as well, as it is located in a strip mall nearby a Clothes Mentor(another place where you can sell clothes), and there is a JC Penney that you can shop around in case the wait time for the store to go through your clothes is an hour or more. There’s even a nail salon and a shoe repair place nearby!

I went to the store when I was visiting my family in Maple Grove, MN. They have a great selection of clothes! I ended up buying several items for less than $ 20. I love a good bargain. The staff was friendly too. Thank you Plato’s Closet!

Everyone loves a bargain right? Well not so much from here… hands down the worst display of teenage blissful ignorance. Yes I’m speaking of the employees… I have never heard so much gossip in one area since the days of Ricky Lake… this is not the place to go if you are in a hurry and don’t want to stand in line transparently until you’re noticed and interrupting the MOSTIMPORTANTNEWSEVER. I suppose this would be the perfect store for shoplifters if they were budget conscious… the employees would be to busy to notice.
