Like entering a time warp — Bread is playing ‘Baby I want you’ Lunch, maybe 6 customers. Had to ask for water. Two gals(hostess and waitress) mostly talk amongst themselves. Pizza buffet — iceberg lettuce was fresh and had some spinach. Salad dressing is the lowest quality you can get. Couldn’t tell if it was ranch or blue cheese. Peaches were gray, condiments like onions and cucumber were cut way too large. It was 11:45 but the pizza looked like it had been out for some time. They also had a crock of cement thick soup(didn’t risk it.) For about 5 minutes there was deafening noise from what sounded like an air compressor(is this a regular occurrence?) There’s just no reason to go there. Frozen is better.

I went here two nights ago. The service was rather slow(despite a huge pile up of buffet plates on our table, our server never came to take any away). My water was empty a long time before a refill was provided, but my original water cup was not taken from the table. We had quite the pile of dirty dishes on our table between the four of us and nowhere to put fresh plates. The pizza was good, especially the deep dish, but the 16 minute wait in the buffet line to get a slice destroyed our experience that night. One of us was always waiting in line for pizza, so we hardly saw each other. NOT worth it. They also ran out of plates and then gave us ones straight out of the dishwasher that were too hot to touch. By the time I finally made it to the buffet counter, holding my burning hot plate, they were mostly out of pizza and all I got were scraps! Ugh. Then we had to wait yet again for the dessert pizza they promised but also ran out of. My advice is go in the middle of the afternoon when nobody else is there.

Good service, family friendly with huge booths with high sides for privacy. Pizza was good and reasonably priced Sauce was a little too spicy for my taste but hubby liked it Crispy fresh toppings and three crust choices

I am surprised at some of the negative comments. I have always had excellent pizza here. Tho I must say the buffet at lunch is not quite as good. I have never had bad service – and many times excellent service. When I come home to Minnesota, I always have had to make several stops here or one of their other locations.(tho now living in Seattle, we have a good comparable pizza joint – Zayda Buddy’s).

Worst service ever. This place doesn’t even deserve one star. We had to go up to the bar to get plates, ranch, and more beer. Oh and they charged us for the ranch… Having to get it myself and all. We did not talk to our waitress for 45 minutes. We have had bad experiences here every single time. We spoke with the manager about our terrible service and all he had to say was«I’m sorry. Want a cookie?» Worst place ever!!! Hopefully their management changes ASAP.

Service was ok-Wasn’t very knowledgable about food. I was ordering the shrimp dish. I was told it would be more like a shrimp scampi mixed with penne pasta and sauce. What I got was a bowl of sauce with some pasta and very few(maybe 5) very small(canned) shrimp. Very disappointed for almost $ 12.

This Broadway location is one of the first places I ate at after moving to Minnesota so it will always have a special place in my heart. I’ve since been to a handful of other Broadway locations and this remains my favorite. My coworkers and I have this place in the rotation for our Friday lunch outing. The buffet is reliable and rarely disappoints. It provides one of the better buffet options for lunch in the Maple Grove area. They, of course, have a great selection of pizza and a pretty decent salad bar for those looking to balance their noon carb/cheese intake. This place is always hopping around dinner time. They have great happy hour and daily specials through out the week. They also host a trivia night. Not the best selection of beers on tap, but certainly enough to satisfy just about everyone. The pizza here is among the best I’ve found in Minnesota. Besides pizza, they have a plethora of other delightful menu items to choose from. On a recent trip I decided to try their new quesadilla and was totally blow away! They have one of the best quesadillas I’ve ever had. Not be say I’m a connoisseur, but man did that hit the spot! As if I needed another reason to love this place.

I have been here 4 times since moving to Maple Grove two years ago. Every time I go I am just disappointed. The food is decent but the service needs major improvement. It takes far too long to get seated, servers are slow and hard to find when you need something and none of them look happy to be there. I know it is work but in the service industry it is all about selling enthusiasm so people want to come back. I gave it more than a fair chance but won’t be going back unfortunately.

Our family likes the pizza at Broadway. It’s suburban pizza, but it’s better than the competition(it isn’t as good as Pizza Luce, Andrea’s or Punch, but you’re not going to find anything better in Maple Grove). We get the«New York Style», which is basically a hand-tossed consistency and we’re always happy with the quality. Although it isn’t cheap at Broadway, it is fairly reasonable. The delivery is timely and courteous. My one complaint is probably the experience of dining in the restaurant. I recognize that this is a family restaurant, but everytime I take my wife and son there, the place is a circus. Out of control kids, overwhelmed /unattentive servers, lengthy waits for refills, etc. Do yourself a favor and order delivery. You can catch the game at home without dealing with some screaming tottler with nose crust, staring at you while you wait 10 minutes for a refill on your diet Sierra Mist.

Came here during the Vikings game for some pizza with my girls. Walked into the place and there was no host, so we seated ourselves in the bar. Looked at the weekly specials page left on the table and noted they had some gameday specials. The place was practically empty which surprised me since they have some HUGE screens on the wall playing the game. 10 minutes went by without a server even acknowledging we were there. In fact the only people I saw working were the bartender, a server in the main dining area, and what looked like the manager floating around by the kitchen. After 10 minutes I asked the server I did see if someone was going to come and help us. More waiting before I finally said screw it and went to Don Pablo’s next door. For a place that is promoting gameday specials, you better have the staff to serve the people who come in during the game. Its no wonder the place was empty, they all probably got sick of waiting. At least my girls stayed remotely entertained by the model train circling the room. I’ll never come back here because of the crappy service they didn’t even try to provide.

Well delivery was fast… but the salad sucked! So it is just the same old delivery pizza! If it Sunday night, you are stuck in the hotel, you have no choice!!! Bottom line if you are desparate… you can live through it.

After spending a long day at MOA we arrived late around 10:00 pm on a Monday night with 3 slap happy kids! Not only was the food fresh, fast and fantastic, but our server was wonderful !! We were surprised to find such great food and service at such a late hour. We had pizza and wings, both were great.

Heard good things about broadway pizza… supposedly good midwest pizza… the rumors are… false. wop wop. I was expecting awesome crispy thin crust… I got overly spicy soggy pizza. half of it could be our fault… we wanted to be cute, and where each one us chose an ingredient… sausage, jalapenos, mushroom, onion, pineapple… they got too jalapeño-happy and just tasted briney and soggy. Also had the app sampler and was ok… tasted like any other franchised restaurant sampler… I will try again at the Minneapolis location, with hopefully more success.

I almost feel bad for giving them only two stars… almost. Maybe it was just a bad streak, but I’ve been there 4 – 5 times and the last two were visits were really bad — and it’s not the food that’s the problem. The food is very good — we(my fiancé and I) usually get wings and some sort of meaty pizza. The wings are nice and crisp with flavorful sauces. The pizzas are very good — great thin crust, delicious sauces that compliment meats very well, and very flavorful meats. BUT…the service is what brings them down from what probably would have been 4 stars. The second to last time we were in was the worst. So bad, in fact, that we actually told our server to have our pizza boxed up when it came out of the oven — that’s how badly we needed to leave. First of all, it took TENMINUTES for our beverages to hit the table(she only had four tables). She came over to take our order and after we ordered our appetizer, she stopped us and said she was going to put in our app order along with another table’s and then come back and finish taking the rest. We waited for about 25 minutes for our wings, during which she kept coming over and mumbling to us and her other tables about how she was okay and how she could handle«this». We did complain to the manager who was very kind and comped part of our meal. That was in their old location — when they moved across the street, we thought we’d give them another shot — foolish, I know. The hostesses didn’t greet us for a good solid minute, even though there wasn’t any one else waiting for a table. We ended up just a few tables away from a large tween girl’s birthday party in a «side room» of sorts. Between the tween girls and the acoustics, it was painful to our ears. We waited for about ten minutes without a server showing up, so we got up and went to the hostess stand and they seated us in a new location. From that point forward the experience was fine — no complaints, but no praises. Either way, that was our last trip there. I don’t plan on ever returning to that location.

This could be the freshest pizza in town… solid, big pizzas, garlic bread and sandwiches, they even have a buffet with kids eat free(I think it’s Mon nite, don’t quote me!) I’m a regular… locally owned, fresh pizza and full bar… they have me! Love it!

I can’t believe I haven’t written a review of this place before. This is a old Pizza chain around the cities. I have eat at many of the locations and ordered from a great number of them as well. I can say that I haven’t ever had a bad pizza from these guys no matter the location or the time of day. The thin crust pizza is very good, nice crispy crust and very good sauce. They have a great chicken pizza and a nice white sauce. I think all the locations have a pizza lunch. Good idea if your hungry and craving pizza. They have a pretty limited salad bar but do have subs and soup and then 5 – 6 different pizzas. This weekend we ordered the new Garlic Chicken pizza. It was very well done. Chicken, artichokes, spinach and mushrooms. I must say it was top notch, one of the best pizzas I have had in a while.

I went here recently for the Monday Night Family Buffet, and left dissatisfied. I’m a pescatarian for environmental reasons, so I try not to eat meat outside of the occasional fish or seafood. However, when I go back to Minnesota to visit family, I usually have to make exceptions, and I definitely needed to while eating at Broadway Pizza. The only vegetarian-friendly pizza they had was cheese, and while I’m usually a fan of plain cheese, this particular version was frozen grocery-store quality … everything else had meat on it, so I ate a little chicken, which tasted OK. Apparently, they usually have a veggie pizza, but they didn’t this night and weren’t willing to make one for the buffet when I asked. I liked the thickness of the crust, but it was lacking in flavor, and the sauce wasn’t noteworthy. The rest of the buffet outside of the pizza was kind of sad, and the dessert pizza was just so-so. There seemed to be a shortage of waitstaff, maybe because it was buffet night. While our waiter was pleasant, it was a challenge to get drink refills. The idea of a pizza buffet is appealing, but I would’ve preferred ordering Papa John’s.
