Walked in told the guy what i wanted, handed him the coupon, he starred at it for a few then tells me that it dont work for the cowboy pizza i ordered. What difference does ot make a large thin crust it the same price as the rest of them. Maybe if pappa murphy’s didn’t make 8 fricken coupons for there pizzas that all cost the same. It would be a little easier to give them the correct one. What a crock. Then i asked for extra sauce on my pizza and the guy making it wouldn’t add, what i would consider extra sauce. I didn’t like is attitude. Im not going back, to the maple grove location.

As a company,(not Maple Grove location specific), advertising/promotions seem to not match up to the franchises. For example, $ 5 faves are advertised constantly on tv, but when you go to order… nowhere to be seen. Same with two promotional flavors mentioned in a mail ad… the store knew nothing about it. I called this location twice today. The first to ask about a specific pizza advertised that the employees knew nothing about. The second to ask about a coupon which turns out I couldn’t use since the person picking up the pizza was not stopping at the house first. Dumb rule… but not the employees fault. What is the employees fault is that instead of putting me on hold when I asked about it, they just left me there on the line and debated who would have to tell me I couldn’t use the coupon. Extremely unprofessional. Strike three, the pizza was not even good after all of that. Usually I think Papa Murphy’s pizza tastes great, but tonight the sauce was way too sweet, the sausage tasted weird, too salty, and as a whole it just was very unappetizing to me. For $ 10, I would’ve been better off getting a take and bake from Costco or Target.

I hate to say anything negative because we get PM almost once a week. We love the pizza, prices are right and employees are sometimes really friendly. Other times the employees are quiet and unhelpful. My biggest complaint is i often hear employees at this location say«our franchise doesn’t participate in that special,» «we don’t accept the punch cards at this location.»

Well, I hate to post this review because I eat here at least once a week. The staff is always friendly and the pizzas are all well made. I stopped in tonight just after 7:45pm and they were already closed. I get that the employees have probably worked an 8 hour shift and want to get home but as someone who’s managed restaurants for years, closing at 8pm means closing at 8pm, not 15 minutes early so you can clean the store and leave at 8pm. There’s another location not far from me that will hopefully be more reliable…

We proudly accept EBT cards but not American Express? Wow, I am clearly in the wrong place, and won’t be back. If I have to pay $ 16 for a single, uncooked pizza, the least you could do is accept the 4 major credit cards.

I love me some Papa Murphy’s. The convenience of this particular location is enhanced by the fact that they have a drive-thru window, which is not commonplace. More often than not, I call ahead and they can usually have it ready in 10 minutes. The staff looks to be pretty much high school or college kids, which isn’t a knock since they are always friendly and can whip together a good pie quickly. I feel that the quality of the ingredients is pretty high and I’ve only ever been disappointed by my own inability to cook it perfectly every time. When they run the $ 5 faves deals, it doesn’t get much better than that on the basis of bang for buck. They are always sending coupons in the mail for a few bucks off which lightens the impact on the wallet. I tend to usually go with the old standard pepperoni, but also enjoy pepperoni&ham or Hawaiian, though I avoid the sausage here because it has a strange flavor/aftertaste that sticks with me for hours. TMI? All in all, I dig Papa Murphy’s for what it is – quality grub at a low price.

Pizza you have to cook all by yourself. OK, this has been around forever, just now adding to the list. I’ll leave out the pizza wait on valentines day once when I sat there for almost an hour. I get it, they make pizzas forever and it gets busy. They are shaped like a heart so how can you go wrong? Now this is ok pizza, nothing more. Beats the hell out of Dominoes or any of those other fast food pizza places. Half the price of a pizza from Broadway but also only half as good! This is the suburbs in nutshell, half ass plain pizza that’s better than the national brands! KT
