I had the MARTHAWASHINGTON, which is country fried steak with eggs, toast, and home fries. Boyfriend had an open-faced omelet. With two coffees the bill was $ 19.26. Everything was delicious, food came fast, and we were stuffed! As for the negative review and pictures by Ricky B., he needs to mind his manners and not go airing things on Unilocal. This is clearly a family business and it’s not right to go shaming an employee on here.

Excellent menu offerings and kids meals are $ 3.89 including drinks! Normal kids meal items. They had about 5 specials in which I chose the open face turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes and a side salad. Very yummy and the serving was huge. Son had the blt which was three pieces of bread high and came with about 2 lbs of very yummy and hot fries! Will definitely be back and the the price was great considering the amount of food we were served.

I could give this establishment three stars for their lack luster external and internal appearance, but to be honest, much like its people… it’s the substance that’s matters the most. Paul Reveres had great food(we got breakfast) and ultra friendly service. It seems to be a place frequented by locals regularly, which was really cool!

Good food, good prices, good service. The owner is always there and most gracious too. Good hearty breakfast as well.

My family enjoyed breakfast as we celebrate the 4th of July. Servers seemed slightly rushed. Food tasted great. It was typical American diner fare. My wife ordered the Betsy Ross with fresh made home fries. I ordered the Drummer Boy high was good but the portions were so huge I should have skipped the side of sausage. The Traditional American was great. The kids pancakes were OK but not outstanding.

Tried for lunch today. Liked the toasted ham and swiss on rye bread very much. I would order it again. Didn’t enjoy Reuben as much. Décor is atrocious. Great service and a nice little hometown feel.

Not the same bar and pool joint I grew up near indeed. Now a family restaurant, we stopped for dinner tonight. The dinning room was clean and well lit though there were lights out in the overhead fixtures. The bathrooms were clean but could benefit from addition TLC. We started with the Fried Sauerkraut Balls. They were superb! I can’t recall ever seeing them, let alone having them, anywhere else! I tried one of the specials tonight, Crab Cakes, and truly enjoyed them though I had to ask for lemon. My steamed Broccoli seemed fresh and was not over cooked. My side salad was typical iceberg lettuce with a little onion and tomato. My wife had the Spaghetti with Meat Sauce. There was an endless version on special, but we kept to the menu. According to my wife, it was very tasty with the sauce being a little sweeter that she anticipated. Her side of Applesauce was of the chunky variety with a dusting of Cinnamon and her Texas Toast was good as well. The Early American décor set off the theme of the restaurant in a town named Lexington! All and all, not a bad little restaurant with good service!

Only ate here once with my family for breakfast. Food was very good and the prices were very cheap. Made me feel like I was back home… The staff was awesome and brought my kids jelly beans and talked to them. This place is very nice to eat at, I will be back.

Overall, I think its a great place to get a good meal at a fair price. If the chance ever presents itself, I would definitely stop by again. The food isn’t fancy, the menu was mostly classic American comfort food. I was with a group and no one had any complaints. Décor: From the outside it looks more like a home, pretty easy to drive right by accidentally. All that changes inside. They have a lot of knick-knacks and walls art themed around the founding fathers and American Revolution, which I found to be pretty fun. The breakfast dishes are all named for different historical figures. They a number of large tables for groups and a banquet room for parties. Parking was very convenient and east; they also have a ramp for those in a wheelchair. Also, you can order take-out online, a feature you don’t often get at a family restaurant. Food: Most of my table had the veal sandwich, myself included. The sandwich was juicy, simple, and full of flavor. Being from Columbus, I couldn’t believe I could get such a tasty sandwich platter for right around $ 6. We also got some sauerkraut balls, which were homemade and very tasty as well. We all also splurged and had some of their strawberry rhubarb pie, which was also pretty great. Service: Friendly and helpful. Out waitress came by our table quite often and got us set up with everything we needed. Everyone working there seemed pretty friendly as well. If you’re looking for a quick stop off of route 71(its maybe 5 minutes from the highway) or just near Mansfield, this place is definitely worth giving a try.

I’ve only eaten breakfast here, so I cannot vouch for the rest. The pancakes were alright, nothing awesome, alittle crispy on the outside from being in the same griddle with the rest of the greasy food. The place is a bit odd in that they pay tribute to American revolutionaries and early American memorabilia. It’s neat but lacks cohesiveness — it’s more like someone had a big collection of this stuff and decided a restaurant would be a good place to display it. The waitstaff was alright, took some asking to get refills. I wouldn’t mind returning for dinner sometime and give that a go. Overall, I wasn’t impressed and the food was average. It’s not bad, but I likely wouldn’t go out of my way for it.

Great Lake Erie perch and sweet potato casserole(which wasn’t grossly too sweet). Very reasonable prices too. Bathrooms could use more attention though!

+Have eaten here on several occasions and the food and service are always top notch. Serving size is never a problem as you will always be full when you leave.
