I ate there a few nights ago. I ordered a gorgeous large pizza and enjoyed it but it needed one improvement. Based on reading reviews first, I ordered it extra crispy, GOODCALL. Crispness was perfect. However, it did not have enough sauce on it. Perhaps the sauce is not flavorful enough, but i think there just wasn’t enough sauce. Waiter(owner??) thought that had to do with so many ingredients on it, but i disagree. It just wasn’t there. Because of that, the pizza was bland. I asked for extra sauce and was told it wouldn’t taste good because the pizza sauce had to be cooked to taste right. They did offer me marinara, but that was overpowering for the pizza. I asked for ricotta like i saw in fotos on here. – good addition but costs $ 3 extra. And possibly if i had not ordered the ricotta it wouldn’t have seemed so bland. If you like eggplant, i recommend the mediterranea with little flat pieces of roasted eggplant and red peppers on it. Don’t get the Cirro with prosciutto because it is way too salty. I didn’t try pasta based on recommends here. The meatballs were ok, bland. Lastly the spinach soup was nice, but just tasted like spinach egg drop in broth – very bland, definitely needed spice of some kind. I would eat here again if i was in the hood, or at the lake. But would order extra pizza sauce on pizza at time or ordering. Also note that they charged me $ 1.xx packaging charge for to go. I did not appreciate that at all, wasn’t much, but was on the nickle and dime me side.

First time to this restaurant, cute place as the service was very good. Unfortunately, the food left a lot to be desired. My house salad was wilted and bitter, didn’t care for the house dressing but my husband enjoyed the Cesar salad. He ordered chicken Marsala which came with a runny, strange sauce and two small, dry pieces of chicken breast. I had the eggplant parma which was actually not bad but the pasta served along with it was just weird — very large spaghetti noodles with an odd, spongy texture. Overall not a very satisfying meal.

I work at a school close to Napoli and we have ordered from there many times to have lunch delivered. They are extremely friendly and accommodating when we have numerous teachers ordering at the same time. The lunch specials are great and very filling. I highly recommend this place!

Service was friendly, even so my drink was never refilled. Good thing I am a slow drinker. Salad was mediocre at best. Spagetthi noodles were the fattest I ever seen, also didn’t taste right. The pizza was eatable but didn’t leave an impression worth coming back.

When I walked in to Napoli’s, I heard the owner raising his voice to the servers. It made me uncomfortable to hear him then yell at them to come greet me. I placed an order to-go there at the restaurant and had to wait over 30 minutes for our food even though the restaurant was nearly empty. Once home, we noticed that the pasta looked abnormal. The noodles were very thick and over cooked. The food was so salty that we could hardly eat it, and afterwards, we felt sick to our stomachs. We will not be returning.

Perhaps the pizza in Mansfield thst gets the closest to something one would find in Italy. Great taste, friendly service. The cheesecake was not anything special, but I am not coming here for dessert anyway.

This is a take-out review. We asked for our crust extra crispy and really liked the result. Last time we thought dead-center of the crust was slightly under-done. The pizza was hot & ready when promised & the transaction was efficient. Pepperoni & black olive-awesome!

I used to love this place but the last time 2x I have been I have been disappointed. Three things to the people who work/own Napoli’s…service is mediocre and a little awkward when owner corrects them and you can hear it, caesar salad should be mixed together unless requested not to be(it’s SO lazy to serve it any other way), and finally decreasing the portion on my favorite dish(chicken parm) is not going to make me want to come back.

Came into Napolis to get our Italian fix. We were seated fairly quickly. It was a little busy due to the thunderstorm. I guess everyone was hanging out waiting for the heavy rain to pass. We were able to still grab a booth so I was happy. Our waitress came over and took our drink orders. She wasn’t too friendly which is unusual most of them are at napolis. She returned with drinks and fresh rolls and butter. We placed our order. My son got a pepperoni pizza, I ordered the manicotti with pink sauce, and my fiancé ordered lobster ravioli and of course the stuffed mushrooms for appetizer. We sat and talked and ate bread. The lights began to flicker slightly but remained on, YAY! Our mushrooms arrived and the sauce was super thin and runny, which is very unusual. Then our salads arrived and food followed right behind them. My sons pizza was cooked well and he was happy. However me and my fiancés dishes had really runny sauces and my manicotti were barely warm. We informed the waitress which she seemed clearly uninterested in addressing the issue herself so she said she would tell the owner. He finally made it to the table at which point he took the dishes back and remade them. Apparently the kitchen had pulled the dishes a little early from the oven, probably trying to get food out before losing power since the lights were flickering. Anyways the second versions were as they normally are thicker sauces and piping hot(bubbling in the dish). We all left full with happy tummies. I was very glad they fixed the dishes. Will continue to come to napolis. P. s. This was the first time we had an issue with food temp or food quality since we started coming to this restaurant.

I love this place! My parents and I have been going here for a couple of years now. The food is always excellent and the staff is great. Terry, the owner, always stops by our table and says hi. They have homemade pasta and homemade soups that are to die for! They also have an ice cream bar. There’s something delicious for everyone!

Disappointed. Napoli used to be so good but the new ownership is running it in to the ground. They stopped taking American Express. Cheapened the recipes. The Alfredo sauce tastes like milk and uncooked flour. Service is bad.

Gross. I don’t know about their pizza, but their pasta is all wrong. I ordered baked ziti and it was so bizarre. Most ziti is made with a penne-style pasta or something similar, this«ziti» was made of these HUGE overcooked/almost burnt macaroni noodles. The texture was all wrong and they were chewy and dry. It was so unpleasant. The sauce was the equivelent of tomato sauce mixed with garlic and milk. My mother had the fettuccine alfredo and it was also horrible. The sauce had way too much butter/oil. It felt like it was made out of the movie theater butter you drizzle over popcorn and sprinkled with garlic. As somebody previously mentioned, the salads were also gross. The kitchen staff needs to consider buying a salad spinner because all of our salads were drenched in water to the point where there was actually water in the bottom of the bowls. Our waitress also acted very peculiar the whole time and wasn’t very friendly. Yah, this place is terrible.

Ehhh we thought it was mediocre. They gave us the old garlic bread, it was too oily. The pasta dish was bland… Too much cheese.

I tried Napoli’s because they were doing a Spirit Night for our school. I’ve wanted to try it so this was a good opportunity. It was kind of busy but not packed. We arrived around 6:30. Our waitress came over and looked frazzled from the beginning — never a good sign. We ordered some calamari to start and told her we weren’t ready to order entrees yet. She said she would be back and was back about 30 seconds later and we still weren’t ready. Once we were ready, we had to tell someone to find our server. We ordered 2 pizzas and 2 pasta dishes and also some bread because we had a young child with us who was hungry! We got the bread which was garlic cheese bread although we just wanted regular bread. The calamari finally came out after the cheese bread. It was good calamari — not overcooked and good seasoning. After a long wait, the 2 pasta dishes came out. Then we waited… and waited… and waited for our pizzas. We finally flagged down another server who said she would get our server. They brought out a pizza and said«Here is the Ciro pizza» which was supposed to have mushrooms & prosciutto on it and there was only cheese. The waitress said«I don’t know. I’ll get your server.» Our server came over and took that pizza back. After waiting even longer, they finally brought the correct pizza out. The pizza was really good. I would have liked a few more mushrooms, but other than that, flavor was great, crust was good. Still no cheese pizza in sight — just a plain cheese pizza. They brought out the cold pizza they had tried to serve me 20 minutes before and said«This is a four cheese. Will the kids eat it?» We told them we’d take it because we weren’t going to wait for another one. The crust was not cooked in the center so they just ate the outside half. They all tried it but only one liked it. By this time, my friend who ordered lobster ravioli hadn’t even touched it because she was politely waiting on me to get my food and hers was stone cold. I did hear the server say a few times how crazy busy it was, etc. The owner came over and apologized for how long it took and said he appreciated our patience. After almost 2 hours, we finally left. TWOHOURS — for pizza & pasta. If you know you’re doing a spirit night, staff accordingly or don’t do them because you can’t handle the volume. I can only imagine how long people waited for delivery! I probably will not go back because of the terrible service even though the pizza was really, really good. I may order take out, but even then, it will have to be at 2 o’clock in the afternoon so I don’t have to wait 1 ½ hours for a pizza.

I’m bumping Napoli’s up to 4 stars. The large pepperoni & meatball pizza is outta the park! The meatballs and pepperonis are huge. A delicious wood oven flavor on the thin crust. The large pizza easily fed 3 of us for lunch. If your going out for pizza in Mansfield, Napoli’s is the place to try.

We just moved to the area and a neighbor raved about this place. My boyfriend loves pizza and I hate pizza at the chain restaurants. My review is for pizza delivery only. The pizza always arrives promptly and hot the ingredients are always fresh. I’m a huge foodie and there are tons of bad restaurants in this area so I’m ecstatic to find this gem.

Whole set up is kinda awkward, but since we got it to go it was no biggie. Seems like a good Sicilian style pizza is hard to find nowadays. Napoli has it down. Decided to give it a try out, craving pizza and wanting to change it up from the regular Palios. While I still love Palios, Napoli is awesome for when you are wanting something a bit more filling. I mistakenly ordered a large(typically its what I do, but I could only down 3 sqaures of this pizza) meat lovers Sicilian with shrooms and olives. Very meaty, cheesy, and filling. Def would be good for a party and at only 16 bucks its a good bang for your buck. We also got some side salads and fried mozzarella to accompany the pie. Side salads were ok, did the trick. Mozzarella was an epic fail. Generic frozen from Costco and didnt come out piping hot. Skip on that. If you have a hankering for a tasty thick pizza, have ‘em pile it on at Napoli!
