I went here yesterday on my way home and if i had to do it again i would keep walking. They were not even that busy for there to be a long wait just to order. They just looked completely disorganized behind that counter and its disappointing because Starbucks is a good brand… and to some its a treat or the my day needs a pick me up yet you give me an experience to not bother. Then on top of that you got my drink order wrong… smh

I work around the block from this Starbucks so it’s always convenient to go there… every time I go there it’s always a issue either with me or with other customers. Top of that employees don’t ever say sorry when it’s there fault for making wrong drinks or putting whip cream when told 5 times not to… Plus when I told the employee I was allergic to whip cream she simple removed whip cream with a spoon never said sorry she should have made me a new drink … Even after I told her I was allergic she still gave me the same drink … They are very disrespectful very rude… Don’t waste your money there at all … I am trying to get in touch with there hr department every time I go there it’s an issuse

Horrendous service. Starbucks should be embarrassed. The baristas rarely care how long you wait for your coffee. Wait time is of no importance. A few days ago I stopped in and there was no milk or cream out at all. The barista asked ME to pass her the container from the counter across the way and then walked away with it never to return. I asked the other barista if the establishment has any milk, and she handed me a galled without a word. It’s not only bad service, it’s disrespectful.

As someone in the Customer service industry, I understand it’s importance to the success of an establishment/company etc. This location stands as one of my worse customer service experiences. I could understand and be more sympathetic if it were insanely busy but the store was nearly empty and I was the only customer on line. The cashier nearly inaudibly asked me what I wanted with the most disinterested look. I asked for a venti drink and the male barista next to her clearly with an attitude and without looking at me says«we don’t make this drink in TRENTI». I repeated that I wanted a venti, not a trenti. I also ordered a pastry which wasn’t given to me right away and had to ask for it again right before leaving. I went over to wait for my drink and watched as the barista slammed utensils and items down, visibly angry about something. I grabbed my drink and walked back to the register to retrieve the pastry I had yet to receive. The cashier was oblivious to me standing there as she went about her business until I said excuse me which prompted an «oh» and preceeded to grab the pastry put it in the bag and toss it on top of the glass display. This wasn’t the first time I experienced poor customer service and rudeness from the staff but this will be the last.

I visited last night and waited at the counter for about 3 – 4 minutes to see one of the baristas stroll to the cash register. She did not greet me. She said«What do you want?» I didn’t realize she was talking to me, and asked«I’m sorry, what?» I thought she was joking. Her face was stern. She repeated«WHATDOYOUWANT?!» Long story short, I received my drink and it was luke warm. I asked the barista if she had a microwave to heat it up. She said«No, we don’t have one.» I then asked if she could re-steam my drink. She said«Then I’ll have to remake you a drink!» I looked at her, and asked«Would you please remake it.» She stared at me with anger and said«NO, I’M NOT. AND I ALREADYTOLDYOUWEDON’T HAVE A MICROWAVE!» The manager later remade my drink and didn’t seem to care much about the situation. Avoid this location at all costs. You don’t want your day to be ruined by someone with no manners. Eek, I was disgusted by their service.

The service at this location is literally the worst customer service of any Starbucks I’ve ever been to in MYLIFE. And that is not an overstatement at all. You can see on every staff member’s face that they literally do not care about their job. It’s so apparent that they don’t want to be there. I once witnessed a girl receive the wrong drink, because another customer had taken hers, and the staff proceeded to try to convince that girl for 5 minutes that she should just take that drink, instead of making her a new one because they clearly were too lazy to make her a new drink. Fortunately *knock on wood* I’ve always received what I ordered so I’ve never had to ask them for anymore service other than ordering a drink… but I dread when that day comes –_– and UNFORTUNATELY I like Starbucks too much to avoid this place and the bad service.

It was a crisp autumn Sunday morning– maybe the first of the year– when I stumbled into this Starbucks. To my pleasant surprise, there was no line and the barista was efficient, kind and smiling. She even gave me my proper change back. Further, my drink was prepared quickly, and was the perfect temperature. I will likely be back.

Really poor service. Employees also closer early — much before 10pm. They give you attitude if you go in at 9pm, bc they are already cleaning ready to leave. Rude! Also — no bathroom. Update: employee forgot my drink. Did not apologize but claimed that I was already called out. Clearly not! Or I would have left or there would be a drink at the counter. Poor attitude. Possibly racist.

Staff and service have worsened since this location was renovated a couple of years ago. I attest to the earlier reviews on the young black female barista with the nasty attitude. I say nasty because in addition to being rude, she is borderline violent. Instead of offering alternatives when the blonde roast I’d asked for had run out, she demonstrated how little she believed in customer service and rudely said: «we have no more» while looking like she had just been interrupted from a nap to do something that wasn’t worth her time. No problem yet though; she probably was just having a bad day. After receiving my drink, I go to add milk. The half & half had run out, so I take it back to the counter and stepped away for probably 30 seconds to let other customers approach the pick-up counter for their drinks. She was the only one serving and the other barista(who btw seemed intimidated by her) was preoccupied, so I knew I’d probably have to wait a while anyway and didn’t want to wait in the way of other customers. When I come back, I let her know that the half & half needed a refill. She replies saying there was already milk in there. I tell her that I had just bought it back, and she scoffs at me. She picks up the jug to show that it’s heavier than empty, slams it back down and raises her voice to say«YES there IS» while rolling her eyes at me. She is the last straw of this locations decline that caused me to stop coming here.

This Starbucks is newly renovated a few months ago. The place look more spacious. The service did improved at first but I went back recently at night time and the service was poor again.

I’ve never seen so many 1– and 2-star reviews for a Starbucks, which definitely fits in with my experience tonight. When is Starbucks corporate going to step in and make some drastic changes here before this«we don’t give it a sh*#, cracking-ourselves-up» clique with their f.u.-attitude single-handedly destroys Starbucks’ reputation? Now I understand why there was no one in the store when I arrived on a beautiful NY evening. I had walked quite a bit on my way here, so I was looking forward to the iced drink that a barista at a midtown Starbucks had suggested a couple months ago: one of their bottled orange juice drinks blended with ice in the blender. I had ordered it about 10 times at various Starbucks. But here, they were somehow«not allowed to make that.» When I asked to speak with a manager, the manager was apparently«occupied» but was briefed on the situation and«agreed we cannot make that drink.» This happened as I was just meeting a client. Being pissed off is definitely not the way I want to start a business meeting. I got this insolent clerk’s name and the manager’s name to make sure upper management is aware of the misfit mutiny taking place at 23rd and 3rd… before the staff redrafts the mermaid logo with her middle finger sticking out.

Definitely the worst Starbucks I’ve ever been to. While I was attempting to order, the employees were constantly cracking jokes amongst each other, all to the point where the woman was laughing so hard she was scribbling all over the cup. The staff is a total mess. Predictably, they forgot my drink amidst all their unprofessional shenanigans; a waste of time. They need to get their stuff together.

Last day of finals causes for a mini celebration! Mood: I felt rich so I decided to come Starbucks. Don’t act like this has not happened to you once before. What did I ordered?: I went to the secret menu online and ordered a Starbucks Caramel Apple Pie Frappé. Yes I did! As a apple juice addict I need my daily servings. Taste: Sexy. Crumbled the apple pie into the whip cream. Caramel sauce poured under and on top of the drink. Baristas: She looked so pissed while making it. Made sure nothing funny went into my drink if you know what I mean… Will I come here again? Changed my mind it’s right across the street Baruch and it opens so early. When I’m desperate.

*** Standard Service, Quick *** There’s not much to review here since every Starbucks that I’ve been to in NYC is pretty much the same. Convenient location since it’s right near several bus stations and close to the 456.

Employees show as much excitement about being here as a rock. Also this is probably the slowest Starbucks in Manhattan. If you want Starbucks and have 10+ minutes to wait in line it does the job.

Standard fare. Good service. But a depressingly little thoroughfare this Starbucks is. Not a good place to linger. But still: a good place to get your commendables.

Manager does not honor Starbucks rewards coupons! Used to go to this location daily on my way to work. Today I went in to redeem a free drink. Without even trying to scan my rewards coupon, the manager tells me he will not honor it because I printed the coupon from a computer — even though the coupon itself reads«please print and give to your barista to redeem your free drink». I pointed out the language to him and asked him to at least try to scan it to see if it works and he kept saying«you’re not listening to me, we’re not allowed to take printed out coupons». I left and walked down to the Starbucks at 23rd/Park and guess what — they took my coupon, scanned it, it worked, and they gave me my free drink! I will never return to this location again. Go to the one on 23rd/Park or 28th/3rd instead.

Love me a pumpkin spice latte in sept — but thanks to the barista who took my order, I’ll never return to this location. It went down like so… The guy who took my order with a scowl rather than a smile, and was already copping an attitude. I smiled in an effort to turn that frown upside down along with a $ 1 tip in the jar, asked him if he could spot 4 pennies so I didn’t have to get 96 cents in change for my latte which cost $ 6.04. No dice. He rudely said I can’t do that, and proceeded to count out change and dump it in my hand. If I could’ve gone back into the locked tip jar to retrieve the dollar I would have. I understand there are some crappy and rude customers out there, but there’s no reason to treat a pleasant one so rudely. #neveragain!!!
