Solid bar around Penn Station. Come here a lot because of it’s location and good apps.
Mozzarella Sticks: nicely breaded and have good textured cheese inside (not rubbery like some places)
Jalapeño Poppers: cheddar and again nicely breaded

Just had a blue moon and some chicken tenders with BBQ sauce for lunch. Looks like they have 2 for 1 beers at happy hour starting at 4pm too.

I’d go for a beer at happy hour, which is a solid deal — but the mojito I ordered seemed like someone forgot to add rum, and the peach margarita that followed it also left something to be desired.

Happy hour deal is pretty unreal, especially considering the unhappy hour prices are reasonable to begin with… I’m talking $ 5.00 for a domestic brew normally, 2-​for-​1 between 5 and 7 on weekdays. In terms of an after-​work get-​together:

Oh yes – and the sweet potato fries are delicious
