Went here on Saturday with my friends during out«Futbol Bar crawl» to watch the USA game and had a blast Atmosphere: Let me first start out by saying i am a Chelsea fan. I know i may get crap for this since this is a Liverpool spot, but it’s all good. The look of this place is fantastic. Good flow when you walk in. Has the«train style» where you walk in and walk straight to get to the back. no cutting corners, wiggling your way, dodging tables, etc. Awesome sizable TVs and at the right angle. You don’t feel like your head is tilting to watch the Tv. The sound was on during the game so that’s a mega plus. Humidity outside was booming big time on Saturday so it was great to have the AC on. Guess the only«gripe» i can think of may be the bathroom. 2 stalls and 1 toilet. I cant imaging the line going to the bathroom during a Liverpool game. Let me add that during the USA game, the place was filled and there was no issue with using the bathroom so maybe that is enough Food: I didn’t get a chance to eat BUT one of my friends did. He had the Bacon Cheddar bbq sauce burger. He said he loved it. From the look of it, it looked great. Sizable meat. Not a patty. Definitely ground meat. According to my friend, not alot of bbq sauce which was great, bc you don’t want it overpowering the burger. Fries were good, i tried a few. Dude next to us ordered wings that he devoured. definitely have to try the wings next time. i was 2 seconds away from diving head first into those wings. they looked great Drinks: there is a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge row of beer on tap and numerous liquor choices. Since it was a futbol crawl, i stuck with Stronebow(Even though many wouldnt guess that that cider is strong too definitely will look to go back. Maybe Thursday to watch USA again

Just popped in for a couple delicious cold pints — Carlsberg and Bass Ale, and generous tasty curry fries and also an order of yummy sausage rolls. Friendly. Lots going on the many large screens. Great staff. Perfect visit after hot city walking!

The place to be if you are a Liverpool fan. It’s just like taking a step over to the UK for a couple of hours. Just what you would expect from a British soccer pub. Beer selection is decent, and the food is typical pub food. Gets very crowded on big games.

They have a lot of taps and a fun environment to drink your beer in. My BIL and I had a great time prepping for our Broadway Show with our wives here. Really helped numb the pain properly. The host was a nice guy and personally welcomed us in.

Great place. Management was helpful finding a soccer match we wanted to watch and put it on the screen for us. Bartender very nice and we never had to ask for anything. Very attentive. The sports memorabilia is cool. Would highly recommend

Wide variety of beers, all day specials on top. Plenty of large tv’s and an all good vibe to just have a few drinks after work. Bartenders are prompt and keep the place clean. It doesn’t get crazy packed after work and that’s a huge plus side compared to most places nearby.

Food and drinks: The food was subpar, but $ 4 Coors Light draft was not bad. I ordered a 10 piece buffalo wings and a few beers. Both came out very quickly, which was great, but the wings weren’t so great. They were breaded and then covered in the buffalo sauce(I was expecting naked with sauce but I should have asked), and they were quite soggy, which I don’t like. The beers were reasonably priced though, and their happy hour shots, so I’d definitely come here for their happy hour drink specials(till 7pm) rather than the food — at least the bar food. They had some other interesting things on the menu though — like chicken tikka masala under traditional pub fares. Strange but makes me want to try it. Service: C+ The guy at the door who seated us was super friendly and polite, although it seemed a little disorganized when we got to the table and the wait staff was still trying to clean/set up the table. We had to wait a few moments to actually sit — it wasn’t a big deal at all but it seemed that they could have sat us elsewhere that was already ready. We sat down 4 minutes before happy hour ended, and they still let us order our first round of drinks on the happy hour deal, which was awesome. Honestly, they weren’t very attentive to our table, but when we did get their attention for anything we needed, we got whatever we asked for quickly, whether it be drinks, food, or our check. There’s pros and cons — you might like this if you prefer more privacy(don’t want the wait staff to be constantly checking up on you) and don’t mind waving them down, or you might hate this(like the wait staff to be very involved in your experience). Ambiance: B Mature, modern with a slightly rustic feel. Wasn’t crowded on a Wednesday night at all. Loved that! We actually went to another bar around the block before that and it was so packed, we just left. Here, we were able to get a table and order a couple of appetizers, which we got super quickly, along with our drinks. Ultimately, it was a nice and casual after-work bite/drinks spot, nothing too fancy, but had that more mature vibe.

Handles large crowds Had a group of 16 people on a Friday evening. Seated promptly, service was acceptable. Prices were surprising for midtown Manhattan. Food was fairly authentic Irish, the difference being it was pretty good. Overall an enjoyable evening.

I had a big group of 20+ to watch UFC one night and they were able to accommodate us even with just a day’s notice. The manager, Dana, was very friendly and made sure we were taken care of. Can’t say enough good things about her. Very clean bar and great upstairs area. The food was good and a decent selection of drinks. The staff were also very attentive and friendly as well. There were enough high quality TVs so getting a good view was not an issue. I definitely recommend this place for casual drinks or larger groups.

Four stars for the beer selection and three stars for the food. I usually am wary of unknown(to me) restaurants near Times Square. The location was not an issue. The restaurant is bright and spacious. The wall to wall televisions, with the volume louder than appropriate for a restaurant, limited the ability to carry on a conversation. The food was only average.

We came here because it was close to our hotel and the reviews were good and it did not disappoint. Prices are quite reasonable for New York City. Delicious filet Mignon with shrimp $ 20. No wait, fast attentive service. We needed to be in and out quickly for a show at the Garden. This place was perfect.

My organization held an event in the Liverpool Room last Thursday evening. I’m not even sure where to start, as we were so impressed by everything! The room was so nice looking and was perfect for our group. The wine served during the open bar was unexpectedly good, and the bartender was very friendly. Danna and Michael could not have been more helpful. They were so accommodating and the entire staff was so helpful and attentive. We had a great experience at Carragher’s and will defineitly return.

This is a new spot in the neighborhood of my job. I’ve not come here for Happy Hour so far, but it’s really good for lunch. Not super cheap, but that’s ok because the food is generous and delicious. It’s got a great pub feel and the menu reflects that. I recommend the Fish and Chips and Chicken Tikka Masala.

This is my new favorite place to go for pub fare — a quick bite to eat and a few beers. I already had two very good experiences(lunch with the family and I organized a dinner with 15 people from work during the holidays). My review is based on both experiences. I would call this good pub fare, four stars for an Irish pub. The place has only been opened a few months: very clean, the dining area, bathrooms. The staff is very friendly. They have a nice bar area and plenty of space. The beer selection is good and TVs all around to watch the games. Food is good. The family lunch had about six of us and everyone was happy. A few appetizers, burgers, wings, and salads. The company holiday dinner had about 15 of us. The wait staff was great. Everyone had a cold drink. The meals were good. If there was a minor issue with food, it’s not even worth mentioning because it’s something that happens everywhere. Carraghers is great and I will definitely be back.

I had low expectations for a pub near Times Square(especially since I’m not a huge pub gal) but this one was rather nice and elegant. I came around the holidays so it was pretty with cozy with Christmas decorations(very tasteful). It’s a pub and they put sports on but it’s upscale and the service was good. The wine is even quite decent as far as pubs go. All in all, I’d return if I were in the area!

Cool sports bar, but the food is ok. I had mushrooms stuffed with carb meat(according to the description on the Menu). I asked the waitress if it was breaded and she said no. After checking with the kitchen she came back and said that there’s a little bit breading. It turned out there’s more of bread crumbs compared to the crab meat, which I barely tasted.

Great atmosphere! Not over crowded, definitely a place for people who live near the establishment. One of the bar tenders was great but the other guy was not. I requested a dirty martini and he just looked at me, in the end he brought me a beer. He definitely seemed new or completely out of it. I won’t hold it against the place. I will be back for a soccer game!

We hemmed and hawed coming in to another NYC Pub for an early dinner on a winter Sunday afternoon, but we figured that with the spray of Christmas lights and the proudly displayed menu, how could we go wrong… Then we noticed the Yuengling special so we said let’s give it a try! Lots of traditional Pub Fair on the menu… But we were seduced to try the Chicken Curry over Rice and Chips… And it was delicious! Plenty of food, but I confess, I considered ordering a second helping… It was that good! Makes us anxious to try the rest of the menu! Friendly and helpful staff… looking forward to coming back in the spring to check out the roof garden… Always a pleasure to find a new roof in NYC to hang out on!

Great place to watch a match, even as a Mancunian. Obviously if you come here and you’re a Liverpool supporter you’ll be happy with the entire pub along with all of the memorabilia adorning the walls. Food was above average along with the staff! Highly recommended for Scousers and normal folks alike. Ha!

From a strictly utilitarian perspective, this was a great pub for watching soccer. Massive televisions stretch the length of a very long bar. No straining the eyes to follow the game on a 21″ screen here. These must have been close to 70″. From a pub perspective, it has a great deal going forward. The Sunday morning bartender was one of the best I’ve encountered in recent years. Efficient and friendly. Not much of a beer drinker these days, but the options looked abundant. I found mine in short order. The food from the brunch menu was stellar. A proper née Scottish style meat pie for breakfast along with mashed potatoes and baked beans. The meat pie had the pepper bite I always find lacking in domestic pies. Perfect for balancing the Guinness’s consumed over the course of the match. I live some distance away, but will definitely stop back when I’m in the City.

Heading here tonight — from the reviews, it seems that most people don’t know that Jamie Carragher(the owner) is one of the most famous Liverpool football club players of all time –he is the club’s second-longest ever serving player, making his 737th appearance for Liverpool in all competitions on 19 May 2013. Carragher also holds the record for the most appearances in European competition for Liverpool with 150. Carragher is a legend. YNWA.

Twenty taps — Blue Moon, Coors Light, Carlsberg, Heineken, Sam Adams regular and seasonal, Stella, Newcastle, Guinness, Captain Lawrence IPA(nice), Bronx Ale Strongbow cider, and a few more. I will post a pix. Long bar; several large flat screens; bar back looks substantial. Bartenders were good. I had a chicken tikka masala at lunch which came out quickly and was tasty. Place opened last week. I have high hopes. First impression was positive.
