I have to give some props to this Baskin Robbins. The family and I go here about once every two or three weeks and have never had a bad experience. The service is good and the servings are just the right amount.

A-1 You can never go wrong with Baskins. It’s been about a year since I’ve been to one. I have been frequenting the soft serve spots but I always come back to the OG spot. Actually they serve about four soft serve items but I think they should just stick to what their used to. Today I had the Old Fashioned Butter Pecan. You can never go wrong with that.

Keep it short, ice cream is great, standard for br, but owner is incredibly rude, will never return

I love Baskin Robbins. This is a great spot to grab a cheap ice cream cone after dinner, which I do all too often. My favorite flavor is the caramel turtle truffle ice cream. It has scrumptious ribbons of melty caramel and melt in your mouth chocolate truffles, and the ice cream is always so creamy. How is it a no sugar added, low-fat flavor? I have no idea how they do it, they must be putting baby unicorns in it or something, for real. They have tons of other good flavors too though, like mocha almond fudge, chocolate chip cookie dough, and heath bar crunch. Their mint chocolate chip ice cream cake is the bomb too. I think their cakes are way better than Coldstone and so much cheaper. I’ve always had super friendly employees at this location too. So nothing bad to really say.

This place is a generational favorite. My father came here as a child and now my kids want to come here all the time. I was worried as the recent new owner tried to run it like a business instead of a local institution. He does not learn anyone’s names and raised prices at the same time he yelled at employees to cut back on the serving sizes. I was almost completely turned off to the place, but it seems to have mellowed out. I hope he learns the value of the connection to the community.

This place is one sticky, sugary mess and has been around forever. My biggest gripe is the layout. Half the flavors are on one side of the counter, the other half on the other side. However, the line usually goes out the door, so when your turn is up, you have to fight through a bunch of people to see what flavors they have. Rather frustrating. In terms of the ice cream itself, I typically like it but don’t feel that it’s any better than ice cream I could find in a grocery store. I’ve always felt BR’s portions are considerably less than other chains for the price. I tend to always walk out feeling ripped off in both the quality and quantity department. The only thing that keeps me coming back is the warm marshmallow topping. I don’t really know any other places that have such. If you’re feeling lazy and driving by, you could do worse but I’d recommend stopping at the grocery store and getting your own ingredients instead.

I love this BR. I have always had wonderful service at this location. I love the chocolate fudge, chocolate and peanut butter and chocolate oreo. I notice a pattern. I am surprised by the terrible reviews. I think some of them are unfounded. During their 2/$ 2 promotion, the hubby and I ordered 6 containers of ice cream and ate them for dinner. It was wonderful, and i can’t wait to do it again.

I bought a small ice cream cake for my in-laws and my wife told me I needed to ask for extra fudge on the top of this 4×4 inch cake. A fellow who looked like the mngr or owner said he could not pour some extra fudge on my cake because he can only touch the cake if it is to write something on it for an extra fee. I was too dumbfounded to say anything. I would have gladly paid $ 2 for a small scoop of fudge poured on top but apparently this was not an option. Kind of makes me think of the«Soup Nazi» episode on Seinfeld where the owner only sells soup his way. The cake ended up having a mild refrigerator taste. the ice cream was very good. I think they need to plastic wrap the cakes better. 1 star for customer service and 3 for quality of food.

We waited nearly 10 minutes and finally bailed. One employee was working hard to service the two people ahead of us in line. The other employee was just sitting there chatting on the phone even though he knew we were waiting(the worst part is that I think he was the manager). I might give this place one more try, but poor customer service is a huge turn-off.

This place is sooo sticky and messy. I get that Ice cream is getting dripped on the floor all day but its so dirty it looks like its never been cleaned. They only have a few seats so it probably best you take your ice cream to go! They have all the flavors you would expect but there is nothing special about the ice cream. Perfect for kids, for more discerning adults… maybe not so much.

I am going to leave out the ferris buller references for the 31 flavors. But this place is serious. Great, fast and friendly service. Tasty treat was had by all. And really Ice Cream is jus the delivery system for Sprinkles. We all know that!

How can one not love BR? We visit this location often. It’s right on Sepulveda, parking is easy and there are always plenty of employees waiting to serve. A few must tries: Strawberry Banana, I think it’s new but it has REAL strawberries. The peppermint ice cream for Christmas time is my husbands new favorite flavor.

***Baskin Robbins is an okay spot for ice cream and ice cream cakes, but the prices seem to be getting higher*** This Baskin Robbins is located on Sepulveda in between Hermosa Beach and Manhattan Beach. It is a decent size Baskin Robbins with the standard selection of ice cream flavors by the scoop as well as a fairly large freezer that features many ready-to-serve ice cream cakes. I had scoops of their pistachio almond and America’s birthday cake in a cup. The pistachio almond had a decent flavor. The pistachio flavor was not that great, but then a lot of pistachio ice creams out there are kind of weak. The almonds were good – they were crunchy and tasted freshly roasted. The ice cream did not have a great consistency though. The ice cream was a little bit icy. The ice cream at Baskin Robbins tends to be harder than other ice cream spots. I do not really mind that too much, but the iciness was an issue here. The other flavor I had(America’s birthday cake) was not icy at all – creamier and softer but still fairly firm. The ice cream was definitely a great representation of birthday cake and was much more distinct and nuanced than what I would expect from a Baskin Robbins. The ice cream consisted of strawberry flavor and cake flavor ice cream. There was also soft cake pieces as well as sugary(but not hurt-your-teeth sweet) blue whipped cream that perfectly reflected cake frosting. We also had an ice cream cake from here and it was decent. We had a cookies and cream ice cream cake with a chocolate cake base. They nicely decorated the cake with Oreos and two colors of frosting(white and chocolate). The ice cream cake was satisfying – a good mix of decent ice cream and chocolate cake though the cake in Baskin Robbins ice cream cakes tends to be kind of dry. The price for the ice cream cake seemed reasonable – more expensive(but not that much more) than what you would pay in a grocery store and less expensive than gourmet bakeries. The price for the ice cream(by the scoop) seemed high though. It was almost $ 5 for 2 scoops, which did not seem like that great of a value. That is a price I would expect to pay at a gourmet ice cream shop and not a Baskin Robbins(though the portions at this Baskin Robbins were generous). Baskin Robbins is not my favorite ice cream shop, but it is an okay spot for a quick scoop or an ice cream cake. That being said, I prefer more local ice cream shops like Carmela and Sweet Rose Creamery – especially since the prices at Baskin Robbins are nearing those spots. This Baskin Robbins is located in a strip plaza that has its own free parking lot. There are only a few spaces and with the incline and awkward placing of the parking spaces, parking here can be a nuisance. You should be able to find an open spot though.

We will never go to this location again. We used to be regulars here, but after a horrible experience we will never return. My wife had a birthday email on her phone for a free scoop of ice cream. We actually have made it a tradition to go every year on her birthday. This year however, we were told that unless we had a printout, they would not honor the coupon. We explained that we had used it this way(giving them the coupon code from the email) in the past, but they quoted«policy» as stopping them from helping us. The manager was extremely rude and short with us… to the point of being insulting when he wouldn’t even look me in the eye. As I explained to him, this hard and fast«policy» is horrible business sense. So, because they didn’t want to give away a scoop worth $ 0.20, not only did they lose business this visit(as I was going to spend money in addition to the free scoop), but any and all future business from my family. This is not to mention the business they may lose from other people that read this review. Apologies for the lengthy explanation, but hopefully it will save you some time on deciding where to get your next scoop of ice cream.

I enjoy taking my lunch breaks to go to this particular Baskin Robbins store Shine or rain, I’m there. Now, aside from ice cream, because we all know BR31 is notorious for their wide selection of flavors, I come here for the service. Me(on the phone): what’s the biggest cake you have there Employee: me Do I need to say more? The funny thing is: I knew who was on the other end of that line because I go there so often I know who works there. Or is that sad? I love ice cream and BR31’s Cappuccino Blasts!!!

I love this Baskin Robbins store, its opened late into the night and they have a wide variety of flavors! The staff is friendly and I love their Maui Brownie Madness Ice Cream, Its low fat and low sugar chocolate brownie bits in chocolate ice cream. I am so over this Pinkberry, swirly twirly, rootie tootie fresh and fruity frozen yoghurt fad. I am a man, dammit! A man with a hairy chest, blisters from weight lifting and sores from boxing. No more pretty boy ice cream for me Give me a man’s Ice Cream! ;)
