Berritree

After eating the lunch buffet at Big Wok, I needed to finish it off with something sweet. So I wandered over to BerriTree and it really hit the spot.
It’s a little pricier than other yogurt places, but I was very satisfied. I gave it a 3 stars since the price was a little high, and I couldn’t tell if it was actually better or worse than other yogurt places as far as quality and taste.

Although it’s a cute location and they serve four varieties of yogurt, I wasn’t seriously impressed. A small yogurt with three toppings was five dollars. I was able to get an original/​blueberry swirl, but it wasn’t tart at all and a bit on the sweet side. Plus, I was given three blackberries and a likewise skimpy serving of my other fruit. I like my toppings to last the entire eating experience, and this was not the case. I probably won’t come here again. However, they have a bathroom, serve coffee, have gelato ice cream too (tiny selection), and free wifi, so I guess those are all small positives.

i wanted to like berritree more, but it was sadly disappointing. i’ve only tried their frozen yogurt, but it just doesn’t compare in taste to pinkberry or yogurtland. berritree’s yogurt is not as flavorful, and almost has a slight chemical aftertaste to it. they offer many similar toppings as other places, but berritree’s fruit wasn’t as fresh and cereal toppings were stale.
service was very friendly here, and it was far less crowded than pinkberry or yogurtland. they have a blueberry flavored yogurt which isn’t bad, but again has that chemical aftertaste. they offer gelato as well, but given the limited selection, i’d rather go to whole foods and choose from their ciao bella gelato selection (what i can’t find at their gelato counter, i can find in the frozen foods section by the pint).
i’ll still give this place a few more tries — maybe another yogurt flavor (to see if the chemical aftertaste disappears) or some of their gelato or coffee. i still want to be impressed by this place!

Yum Yum! I had the waffle berri combo today for $ 3.95 you get a fresh waffle, choice of gelato or frozen yogurt and 4 types of fresh berries! Delish! They have 4 tart (pink berry style) yogurt flavors and 6 flavors of gelato or sorbet. There is also groundwork brand coffee.
The space is nice and airy with comfy furniture to relax in. Also a plus is the water pitcher at the end of the counter with fresh lemons and strawberries.
The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because it doesn’t open until 11am and they don’t sell the coffee beans yet.
