I am not an avid pizza eater but I have eaten my share of good pizzas and bad pizzas and Gino’s is definitely good! Pros: friendly, good food, fast Cons: not a good place to dine-in, perhaps not the cleanest place(not wearing gloves…), and parking is never good Overall, if it is nearby your house, definitely a place you want to check out!

Good pizza place in the area. Really good quality pizza and slices. Very average prices. Service is really quick and efficient. Workers sometimes arent polite or nice but they have the business. This place has a «hometown pizzeria» feel. Can grab a slice for a quick meal or be served like a restaurant. Decoration isnt especially nice but not needed. Paper plates are all i need. Favorite slices include the barbeque chicken slice, chicken and tomato slice and the buffalo chicken slice. Highly recommend. Basic large pizza is the great price of around $ 14. This is my go-to pizza place. See you soon ginos :)

We’ve done takeout a few times. Pretty good, consistent. Pizza good, Hero’s good, prices good, delivery not bad either.

The NY style pizza of your dreams. Large selection, very friendly and helpful staff, clean place. Not the cheapest slice around, even compared to other specialty slices. But I would definitely come here again!

I LOVE this pizza place. we got the bruschetta like slice, the margaretta(2), and the bbq chicken slice. fresh ingredients, thin crust, perfect amount of cheese. great place for a nice typical long island pizza !

I have been coming to Gino’s since I was 4 years old, and my mouth waters every time I go into this place. Gino’s is a staple of Manhasset, and the restaurant should be proud of it!

Mediocre Pizza at best. The ingredients are cheap. Prices are on the high side and they charge tax randomly on your purchase. Several times they charged me tax, other times they didn’t. Who charges tax on a slice of pizza? There are always 6 or 7 workers behind the counter and a few guys in the back, that always strike me as funny. Too many Indians and not enough chiefs. The younger workers could be friendlier… One of the young tattoo’d guys never says thank you. Never! Good customer service goes a long way. The specialty slices are your best bet, heroes are smallish and are nothing special. I had a chicken parm hero and the rubbery chicken was a lot smaller than the bread. There is no parking other than the street, where the spots are often all taken. Plandome Rd. is a nightmare at lunch time. If your out of choices and looking for pizza, it will fill you up but I’d hardly say Gino’s is very satisfying.

Decent pizza. This is like the standard New York Pizza with standard dough, standard cheese, weak sauce, and canned/jarred toppings. If they upped the sauce and used higher quality toppings it’d be a better slice.

Been coming to Ginos since I was born. It’s not your brick oven fancy pizza, but it is my favorite slice in the world. Also, best corner Sicilian slice out there.

Past 2 times I’ve ordered from this pizza place I am sorry to say I have not been impressed at all. Over an hour and a half to arrive. Pizza was ok at best. Pasta dish was also a 3 out of 10. This place used to be great. Now it stinks. Never ordering from here again.

This has been my go-to place since I grew my first baby tooth. When I got picked up from school my reward for being a good girl would be Gino’s. Don’t ever miss the chance to have the best ziti slice in the world— and the best garlic knots.

This is by far the best pizzeria in the town of Manhasset. They have a crust that is just the right thinness and a great crust. Also the eggplant squares are unbelievable it’s better than and eggplant parm hero or roll you have to get if they have it on the counter and don’t forget the marinara sauce. Also don’t for ices for $ 1.00!

Bought this pizza for my wife. She said it was great. Hit the spot. My son also liked it. Was assisted by a big dude from Brooklyn. He was really nice. Great place.

Decent local spot for pizza. The buffalo chicken and grandma slices were very good. Friendly service and reasonable prices. Worth checking out.

Went in before a matinée for a few slices. The Bruschetta was a bit messy, crust a bit dry, cheese not soft enough, though still decent. I would order the Grandma’s. A simple classic with a thin crust, not too much cheese or sauce. In the end, a fine slice point, however, I do prefer Umberto’s of New Hyde Park.

After eating Gino’s, I feel like I have reached nirvana. The corner spot is unassuming but busy and serves up the freshest, most delicious pizza I’ve ever had. There are several booths set up and facing you when you walk in is a long counter with a display case and the menu overhead. I have never seen so many options at a pizza place before! Several different types of pizzas, stuffed calzones, pastas, rolls, etc. The number of options was overwhelming and enticing — if I lived in the area I would definitely challenge myself to try everything on the menu at least once. You order and pay at the counter, and then a member of the friendly staff brings you your piping hot slice of pizza(or whatever other item you’ve ordered). We ordered our slices one at a time in order to take advantage of how crispy and hot they are when they come straight out of the oven. And let me tell you… I had to fight not to eat my slices as soon as the paper plate touched the table, in an attempt to protect my tongue from being burnt. I started with a slice of regular cheese pizza, which was the absolute best slice of cheese pizza I’ve had in my life. The cheese was just the right amount, the crust thin and crispy, and the sauce seasoned just right. I then ate a slice of grandma’s pizza, which was a smaller rectangular slice(as opposed to the giant triangular slice of regular cheese I’d just eaten). Grandma’s is on a thicker pie crust and comes with plum tomatoes and mozzarella cheese. I then finished off my meal(stuffed already) with an even bigger slice of cheese pizza. DELICIOUS. Gino’s also has Italian ices, in addition to a cooler with bottled drinks and a few other items on the menu. They also deliver, but eating in the restaurant is the best way to get the hottest, freshest pizza. While I was there, all the booths were full and the staff was constantly busy and helping someone — and they did so with smiles on their faces. Oh, and the prices are great — you can eat 2 slices for under $ 5! I can’t wait for my next trip to Long Island, especially so I can visit Gino’s again and eat more of their heavenly pizza.

I know good pizza. I’m from Brooklyn. We kill people who serve bad pizza. Gino’s in Manhasset makes good pizza. OK, maybe we don’t kill them, but we don’t go back to places that serve garbage pizza. I go back to Gino’s as my go-to local pizzeria. And there are a LOT of choices in Manhasset for pizza. Only realtors and banks outnumber pizzerias in Manhasset. Gino’s has been around for the 20 years I’ve lived here. White pie is very good. Regular pies also. Sautéed broccoli, garlic knots, chicken parm, pasta… I haven’t had one bad meal here. And they have Italian Ices. Listen: its the best pizza outside of NYC. So eat here. Or I’ll kill you. Fuggedaboutit.
