Great food! Love the Greek salad because of the dressing, the bread, and the whole wheat extra thin crust veggie pizza! Everyone that works there is very nice :)

We love this restaurant. All salads are wonderful especially the avocado salad. We enjoy their zucchini linguine. With meat sauce, meatballs, shrimp fra Diablo, sausage, broccoli rabe and sundried tomatoes. Sooooooo delicious! Our once a week destination. Pizza, fish, eggplant all amazing!

Even though it’s a new place the food is just as great as it was for the last few years before it closed and re-opened in May. The lasagna is one of the best along with the penne fiorentina. Delicious chicken parmigian and chicken balsamico. They do have gluten free pasta options too. Home made bread and brick oven style Pizza is one of the best in NY. After a rough start with service from new workers I’m happy to see that they are now on top of their game. If you’re looking for a great meal and atmosphere to enjoy with a glass of wine(which by the way, I was also very glad to see they upgraded their wine selection and house wines) this is the place!

I love coming here! This is my favorite authentic Italian restaurant. Delicious food, excellent prices and attentive service! Beautiful, cozy and intimate restaurant with a wood burning brick oven. Homemade pastas, fresh ingredients, tons of specials for each day. If you like variety and lots of options I would definitely recommend coming here. My favorites are the baked clams, fried calamari, prosciutto brick oven pizza, lasagna, chicken Sorrentino, shrimp scampi, Steak and Fresco salad… and let’s not forget their wine!

We used to be regulars here under the prior management. When we saw that the place reopened, we decided to give it another try. At 5 pm on Sunday, there was only one couple in the entire place — a bad sign. Given how quiet the place was, I was surprised at how long the wait was. My veal sorrentino came with basic tomato sauce on it. More like a veal parm. The linguine was over cooked. The pasta special came with shrimp that were okay but seemed frozen. The food wasn’t bad but not great either. The waiter never bothered to ask if everything was okay. And of course that’s not okay. We won’t be back.

The good: The Chicken Milanese was very good and my wife’s trout was also tasty she said. Also great bread. The bad: House wines, which can be hit or miss, definitely was a miss. Basil Scampi Shrimp was soupy and the shrimp did not seem fresh(admittedly, they did kindly take this off the check without my asking). While the paintings on the walls are amazing, the ambiance is somewhat lacking. A light dimmer would go a LONG way here! Without going into the specifics, we found that most of the service was lacking and that some of the staff seemed unhappy to be working(8pm on a Friday). There was a decent crowd there or people who looked to be regulars, but maybe they too were just seeking a mid-to-upscale italian food restaurant in Great Neck, which is something of a white elephant. In sum, everything that we ate that seemed to be fresh was great, but there are certainly areas for improvement.
