I went in and got Marley twists and am so pleased with the results! She was kind, professional, and finished my whole head in under 3 hours. I could’ve fallen asleep with how gentle she was. I used to think installation had to be painful to last or look neat but I was pleasantly surprised with the experience! I will definitely go back!

Love Gladys. Got a sew-​in and lasted 3 months and could have lasted much longer but I want to change up the hair. Fast service and she is very friendly. Made me feel comfortable although there were other clients there. I will definitely go back for my second sew-​in.

Being a resident of the DC suburbs has made finding a great braided challenging. Considering how long a thick head of hair can take to braid, I prefer not to go into DC or MD, and quite honestly, the options are endless… How am I supposed to pick which place is best? I have had such varied experiences with braids, some so tight that whole braids have fallen OFF my head… No thank you!!! I am SO happy to find Gladys at Musa Braids in Manassas! When I called her (correct number is 703−895−8596) she was able to get me in the same evening, and made things SO easy and comfortable for me! Plenty of parking, and lots of movies to watch.
I told Gladys that I can’t take tight braids, I will definitely take them out the same night if they are too tight. I wear my hear natural and free, and haven’t been braided in at least 10 years, and I’m a total brat when my hair is uncomfortable. I mean, hello, it’s 2015, why should I have uncomfortable hair? Well apparently Gladys is well-​known for GREAT BRAIDS THAT ARE NOT TIGHT!!! Hooray!!! Her two assistants were even able to step in to help in the last hours of the process, making the whole visit take only four pleasant and comfortable hours!
I remember in the past going to have my hair braided at some one’s house after driving all over the place to find the right type of hair and enough of it, spending the whole day and into twilight having my head yanked around and paying a few hundred bucks on top of it. Gladys provided the hair, was easy to schedule, braided gently and humanely, was great company, miraculously got me out in a relatively short time, gave me a perfect style and only charged me a couple hundred dollars total.
I am so happy to meet Gladys and will be back to Musa Braids regularly. I can’t believe my luck. I highly recommend her to all persons wanting a great braid style and/​or weave in a professional and comfortable shop. Thank you Gladys!

Glady’s is so amazing! She opened up two hours early just to accommodate my schedule and has also opened up on a Sunday because I really needed my hair done and that was the only day I could do it. Her braiding technique is great and she is able to do so many styles. She braids my daughter’s hair as well and the results are always fantastic.

Yesterday I came in to get box braids for my very first time. Gladys took me in on very short notice. I came in at 3:30 and looked through her huge shop to find hair that was just right for me. We started the braiding around 4 and we finished around 10! Gladys was very gentle on my hair and I barely felt any pulling! She would start each braid, go about 5 inches down and then her apprentices would finish the length of the braids. I am absolutely in love with my braids, thank you so much Gladys! I will recommend Gladys to everyone I meet, she was so open minded about my hair and is a very sweet lady. I learned that she lived in Germany and has much experience with Caucasian hair, like mine. I never write reviews but feel the need to because I have been coming here for almost a year now and I LOVE it! Gladys is great, she is the most gentle braider I have ever met! I went to another place in the mall and was very displeased. After coming here I do NOT plan on going anywhere else. Her customer service is outstanding, no complaints. I highly recommend them.

So many of my relatives have given me great reports after getting their hair styled here. The workers are great, the styles are outside of this world and the prices are very competitive.
