The Nautilus Diner

To me, diners are for breakfast and lunch. This one, however, breaks my rule. It is the best diner in the county in my opinion. Not just for traditional diner items, but for full dinners as well. Fresh food, cooked well, friendly staff, efficient service, great taste! The one and only diner in Westchester County for me!

My go to diner when IHOP is crowded. The food is always good and we never ha to wait long at all to be seated

I have been to this diner many times. Its a good diner and I never had to wait too long for a table especially on a Sunday also. The staff is friendly and the food was served quickly! It’s a 24 hour diner I have only been there for breakfast. The food was good. For it being so busy the service was prompt which was a plus.

Come here often. They need to cut down the menu by 7 pages it’s getting a big ridiculous. Everything I’ve ever got here has been great. My only complaint is that on a few occasions I’ve ordered fruit salad to go and they literally wrapped an entire cantaloupe on aluminum foil and placed in the bag. Not cut up or anything… Literally an entire whole cantaloupe. I thought the first time maybe they were busy no big deal. But it happened again and again, yet they charge you for an actual fruit salad. Whatever tho, everything I’ve had has always been great and the servers are nice.

When I asked for a dairy free alternative, I was told, «no one has ever asked for it before.» (Hard to believe.). And that I should carry my own. That snarky statement clouded my opinion about this place.

It’s been a long time since i came here. I ordered the avacado chicken wrap. It was good. Would love to come every week. Service was fast and quick.

A staple for breakfast (or any meal, really). I’m 23 and have gone to this place my whole life, given its convenient location and yummy food. It’s a typical diner, with a relaxed, casual atmosphere. If you love diners with a no frills but homey vibe, I’d recommend this place. Service is prompt and efficient, and I would recommend this spot to anyone. Going to go there for lunch now, as a matter of fact: D

I started coming here about 3 year ago with my boss for lunch and he told me you need to try the wings and the butternut squash soup and when I tell you that I must stop by every time I near by I mean it, I loved it but that not the only thing I eat their but there are to many to name just try it out for yourself

Came here for a quick bite after a sweet tooth craving last night. I came with a friend who is a regular at this diner and enjoys the food, so decided to give it a shot. Since we came late at night for something sweet, we ordered a short stack of pancakes and a red velvet cheesecake. There were two pretty decently sized pancakes in the short stack and nice sized slice of cheesecake. The pancakes were nice and soft, but not the best I’ve had. The cheesecake tasted more like raspberry than red velvet, so that was disappointing. But the service was really good; quick and friendly. I would definitely go back to try something else!1

It is my favorite diner to go to in mamaroneck. The food is really good and they are quick in service. The nacho supremes are my favorite. But I recommend the cheese fries and chicken quesadillas. And since it is open 24 hours it is very convenient and they are open for the majority of the year.

This a very good dinner, though you have to keep in mind that you should have adequate expectations: this place is a classical diner with a touch of seafood, not an upscale restaurant to enjoy fine meals.
That being said, staff is nice, food is plenty, with a lot of choices and decent desserts, at a good price.

I come here all the time. I love the place and food. Their greek salad is the best I’ve ever tried anywhere. The only thing i would say that needs improvement at this location is the hostess and the older lady who takes your payment could be a bit more friendly. Focus on the customer and not on talking to each other while taking a payment.

Visited this place 30 oct 2015. I must admit they did a great job with the halloween decorations… wish they could have done the same with the food.
Ordered farmers omlette… eggs came out extremely well done and dry. The potatoes seemed under cooked. Also had the pumpkin pancakes and seemed it was heavy in the flour because the pancakes were thick to chew.
Buddy ordered the buffalo wings… not enough meat on the chicken.
Service was awful… never got refills on water. Had to track them down for things I needed.
I wouldn’t recommend this place as a diner to stop by.

We came here for brunch after a wedding and it was great. We were the only crowd of people under 40 in the middle of the day on a Monday, but it was okay. The reason we came here was because someone randomly remembered that this place has amazing Thai chili chicken wings. Seriously, if you come here, order them. You can thank me later.
I had a grilled chicken caprese sandwich which was pretty decent. The fries were nice and crispy which was a bonus. The coffee was delicious and had unlimited refills. For 8 people splitting three orders of wings plus everyone ordering entrees and coffee, the bill was only about $ 175 including tip, which I consider a steal.

This 24 hour Diner offers a wide variety of food. Eggs, Burgers, sandwiches and dinner specials.
Ssandwiches and burgers always come with a pickle and coleslaw.
dinners come with soup or salad, bread and a vegetable crudite.
In the 14 years that I have gone to the Nautilus diner, service has always been prompt and courteous. When I was served a stale pastry, I complained and I was given a fresh one!
There is always a lot of food of mediocre quality. Nothing is ever quite perfect: tough grilled eggplant on a sandwich, salty matzah ball soup or stale cake, but the hearty, «stick to your ribs «offerings taste great if you are hungry and tired.

Decent food… always play it safe & order burger deluxe, w/​waffle fries. I don’t know why anyone would order lobster anything from any dinner, & if you do your just gluton 4 punishment.

Love The Nautilous. An establishment for the area. Great diner food, a great staff, and spacious seating.
The french fries are out of this world good. Love the club sandwich, far better than other diners. Turkey burgers are awesome.
Never disappointed with my experience and I’ve been coming here since they opened their doors.

The Nautilus is one of my favorite diners to go to. It may be a little out of the way for me, but they have an extensive menu and the food is better than other diners I’ve been to.
The décor and layout is typical of a diner — light (er) color scheme, a large counter area with seating, and multiple dining rooms with booths and tables. In terms of food, most things I’ve had are pretty well done. You can’t go wrong with breakfast, and their sandwiches and salads are also pretty good.
Service is okay — I have no complaints about the wait staff, they’re attentive and friendly. My only real (arguably selfish) gripe is with those working the front of the house. I’ve been going to this diner regularly for a number of years, and the same people have been working the front of the house the whole time. I’m sure they recognize me, but not once has any of them greeted or acknowledged me like I was a regular — it’s the same cold (or lack of) greeting every time. I’m not looking for special treatment, but I’m one of your regulars — it would be nice to be greeted like one. It’s not a deal breaker for me, but it is a turn-​off.
Overall, they serve good diner food which will keep me coming back.

This is one of my favorite diners in the new Rochelle/​larchmont area. Forget getting your wings at bdubs, you got to try the wings here! They’re delicious!
They’re open 24 hours a day and have a huge menu! I tend to lean towards breakfast food when I go to a diner but these guys make a mean eggplant parm. Be warned, portion sizes are huge so if you’re not terribly hungry, don’t order that appetizer!
They have OK wines for a diner. Nothing special. I’m glad that I can get a crown and soda here though.
