Not much of a menu. Don’t know why the burgers come on pretzel rolls as they’re great and don’t need special buns. A basic diner with Good food.

No trip to suburbia from the city would be complete without a diner visit! Came here on a Sunday morning, and managed to get seated right away!(When we were leaving, there was a bit of a wait) I ordered the texas breakfast sandwich. It was a huge portion and came with some very crispy potatoes. The food was good, not great, and service wasn’t horrible. Nothing spectacular, but it fulfilled my diner craving for the time.

Bumping this up to a 4 — great experience here tonight. BLD isn’t large, but it’s clean and has an inviting color scheme. I decided to go with a salad tonight and chose the«5 Shades of Green» — which was a chopped salad containing granny smith apples, avocado, pistachios, golden raisins, cucumber, and gorgonzola. The salad was dressed nicely and served with four pita slices. Overall very tasty — and I commend the BLD for being innovative with their salads, all the others on the menu sounded equally as good. I’ll definitely be back; the staff was friendly and the food was very good — a win-win!

I can see why this place gets crowded! We came for brunch at around 10 and by the time we left there was a wait. Get here early! Eggs benedict were perfect and the potatoes were super crispy and salty(how I want my potatoes to be!). A friend got the Texas breakfast panini which was also good, although we didn’t see the Texas connection. Coffee was good, pretty standard diner coffee. BLD is open 24⁄7 and it’s a great diner with much better food than most diners around. It looks like an old fashioned classic diner. Great comfort diner, I’ll be back!

Came here on a Sunday around 10:00 am. My friends and I wanted to do as the locals do as we were coming from out of town. I think there is a certain nostalgia that comes from going to a diner. Reminded us of our teenage days. I ordered the eggs benedict, it was a bit overcooked, but I think in line with my expectations. Portions were very big, so I was stuffed to the max. Bottomless coffee let my friends and I get caffeine happy. Staff were patient and nice, and service was efficient. They have fresh orange juice!

I’ve been to this diner a few times but for some reason I never left a review. After today I must! My daughter and I came here this afternoon for breakfast. She had their buttermilk pancakes and I had Nutella banana french toast and we share a side order of home fries. I have to say EVERYTHING was delicious and very much enjoyable. We were going down the block to iHop but so happy we came here because the food is so much better here and a whole lot less expensive. If you are looking for a great place for breakfast this is the place. I cannot comment on any other food they serve because I’ve only had their breakfast and it wouldn’t be a true review. I hope this helps you next time you are going for breakfast!

When I saw a full parking lot and a line up to get seated before 10:30am on a Sunday, I had a feeling this place was going to be good. Even so, I was not expecting it to be probably the best diner I have ever been to. Their menu is much shorter than most diners but all the really good stuff you would expect is there and more. Paninis, omelettes, burgers, eggs, etc… I had the Stuffed French toast and a side of corned beef hash. Corned beef has unparalleled, they use stringed corned beef and it was delicious. Stuffed French toast was out of this world, cinnamon cream cheese, apples, and strawberries and blueberries on top. Highly recommend!

One of my favorite breakfast spots. The garden omelet is awesome but the croissant french toast with the fresh fruit is awesome. Great wait staff especially one waiter that remembers exactly what I eat. LOVEIT

Ok this is certainly one of the best diners I’ve ever eaten in. Which is saying a lot for this part of NY… Firstly the staff is over the top friendly and fast. The prices are standard but compared to eating in NYC the prices are a total bargain. Because the food is outstanding! Had the Mediterranean Eggs and I will say it is among the greatest meals I’ve ever eaten. Poached eggs were perfection! Arugula was fresh and clean! And the feta cheese was top of the line! Go here, you won’t regret it!

While waiting for my car at the body shop, I went for a walk on Boston Post Road and saw the crowded parking lot at BLD Diner. I decided to check it out and I ordered a three egg omelet with a fruit salad instead of potatoes! I ended up eating an incredibly delicious omelet in a diner that I only wish was closer to my home!

I was in the New Rochelle area for a wedding. We ended up at BLD(Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) diner for a late Sunday night dinner. I got the Eggs and Potatoes. What better way than to actually have Breakfast for Dinner? I also picked off other folk’s plates. My faves? Potatoes, Regular Fries, and Waffle Fries. They were crispy and not greasy. I’m pretty sure BLD’s specialty is in potatoes and any variations. YUM! ENJOY!

Average diner. Not much more to say about it. It’s not my favorite, but I will say they’re burgers are above average for a diner. Also, someone please turn down the lights. I didn’t commit a crime.

Now that’s what I’m talkin’ bout!!! This is one of the better diner experiences that I’ve had in awhile. Stopped in on a Sunday eve around 7 pm. No crowds… yay! The service was excellent! The food was really really good! The coffee was awesome! Even the prices weren’t bad for the most part. My one very minor complaint is the price difference between the chicken souvlaki sandwich versus the chicken souvlaki platter. The sandwich was $ 9.50& the platter $ 16.00. I got the platter which consisted of a greek salad. The salad came on the plate with the chicken skewers & pita bread. I felt it wasn’t THAT big of a salad that the price should’ve jumped up by $ 6.50. That’s really about all though. Food quality was great for a diner! Nice atmosphere too. I’m definitely going back again! Gonna try some breakfast next time :-)
