Lord’s Farm

In all honesty, I hadn’t been here quite awhile since the gent who used to man the deli moved on and his replacements had been «lacking». On the other hand, they were always a good option to stop in and pick up some freshly made sushi when things were hectic at the office and time was limited. On this occasion, we reverted back to that option and am glad we did. Granted, you won’t get your higher end rolls here but this place will do just fine in a pinch/​hurry.
We picked up some volcano rolls, tuna in brown rice, one other roll (I forget which), and an edamame salad. All were delicious and priced very reasonably. It helps that there are two sushi chefs working during lunchtime so even if they run out you can order what you want.
Apart from the deli & sushi, there are tons of interesting things to pick up for the home. All kinds of sauces, cheeses, beverages, munchies, etc. There is also a little grocery section. Granted, due to the size of the place, you don’t get tons of every item deeply stocked but there are many, many items in stock from which you can choose.

Dark, dirty and unfriendly. All the boxes items were untouched and some had out of date designs. For what little they have, it was all very overpriced. It was impossible to choose anything without moving into the light.
Weirder is I had intentions of buying a few things (water, yogurt) and when I placed everything on the counter the worker didn’t acknowledge me and stayed on his phone. I was able to enter and exit the store without one person working there even recognizing a shopper had entered their store. So bizarre.
Just go a few blocks up in either direction. There’s a deli and some grocery stores.

Dark, dank little place. They have Sarah Beth’s jam, which I love, but it’s priceyyyy. They also sell sliced coconut, which we eat like candy.
Aside from that, we don’t buy much here. All their fruit and veggies look fresh any time we stop in. They also have grains and flours, frozen goods, dairy, and pocky.
