This place was awesome, and the staff were incredibly cool. HOWEVER — They closed as of yesterday. Anyone working in downtown will have to look for places that deliver! What is taking its place? Another Asian restaurant. Dear City Hall — STOPPUTTINGASIANRESTAURANTSINDOWNTOWN — WEWANT A VARIETY!

One of the only great lunch stops in Malden. Walking in to a mom and pop place like this just makes you feel at home. Staff makes you know that you are important and serves food to prove it. Pizza and calzone are out of this world. The chicken florentine will hopefully be my last meal. I have my fingers crossed that they will never move on.

Just needed a slice to get me through the afternoon. It was alright, a bit too greasy for my liking, but I know some people love that. And for those of us who don’t, napkins will fix that right up. It reminded me of Reginas pizza in the north end. Fast service, clean bathroom, clean dining area, good location for pedestrians. Parking in the area can be tough, but if there is no street parking, there is a garage very close and cheap enough.

Carl is a top chef. The quality of the meals here is much higher than you would expect from your local pizza joint. This family run place is cute, clean, community oriented, friendly, everything you want in a daily lunch time hangout. I’ll see you there midst Fridays.

Two paisans has the best pizza in Malden EASILY. I also love that they deliver to all neighboring cities as well. They deserve a lot more publicity, and the owner is the nicest and most humble man I know.

Came in here after picking up some bubble tea from Kung Fu down the block. The Food: I ordered a cheese slice and an order of fried ravioli. The pizza wasn’t all that special. I didn’t expect it to be mind blowing(I live in NYC and I’ve had some great pizza there) and I can honestly say I’d rather not get pizza from here anymore. The fried ravioli was fantastic. Perfectly seasoned. Crispy. Delicious cheese oozing out with every bite. I couldn’t ask for anything else. Except more fried ravioli. The service: the cashier was friendly. We had a quick discussion about bubble tea(one of my favourite things to talk about). One of the cooks was friendly as well. After being blown away by the ravioli, I told him how great they are and we proceeded to discuss how many we’d eat in one sitting, haha. Overall, I’d say this place is worth checking out for the fried ravioli alone. I’ll be sure to update this review once I’ve tried anything else.

2 slices of pepperoni and a 20oz bottled drink for $ 7. I was at a building nearby for work and walked over for a quick lunch. Service was good, pizza was tasty(crust is a little tough, but still not a bad slice). I was in and out in about 20 minutes. Would go back if in the area.

Pizza was alright. I have had better, but not too shabby prices. However, all the vegetables seemed fresh so that was pretty awesome! But the cheese was just… lacking I suppose. Overall alright pizza.

This is quickly becoming my favorite pizza place EVER. I moved to the area about a year ago, and since then I’ve tried a few different take out and dine in places. So far, though, the only one I’ve come back to has been Two Paisan’s. I mean, they already had me sold when I found out I could order mini cannolis for delivery, but the service, the pizza, and the appetizers brought it all home(pun only somewhat intended.) If you’re a fan of fried foods, try their buffalo(or regular) chicken bites! Also, we had them make our favorite pizza(pineapple and bacon) and it was the best I’ve ever had. Seasonings are perfect, sauce is perfect, crust is perfect, and the bacon was nice and crispy! Today my boyfriend and I brought his little sister there for lunch, and just because things got backed up in the kitchen(not even by that much) someone came to our table and gave us each a brownie! They were pretty much perfect brownies, big and moist but with just enough substance to satisfy those who like more cake like brownies, but fudgey enough for someone like me. Talk about earning brownie points! Not long after our pizza was ready, and it was absolutely fantastic.

Consistently great! We just moved to the area and this is now our go to place for pizza. We have tried the Melanzane which was delicious. Now our custom order is spinach, ricotta and bacon. Always the right amount of toppings, the crust is crisp and delicious.

Two Paisans is the greatest pizza/sub joint in Malden, and CARLISTHEBEST. Not only are the pizza/subs delicious, but they also have fantastic salads & pasta dishes at well– it takes a special pizza place to actually make quality food that isn’t pizza. Before I went veg I lived off of their buffchick calzone, but now that I’m not eating meat, they make delicious veggie pizza/calzones, too! All of the staff there are the absolute coolest, the prices are reasonable, & its surrounded by a decent amount of parking for a place in Malden Sq. Also, they have the tastiest brownies I’ve ever had. Sold.

I’m coming off a very long Unilocal hiatus to review Two Paisans. Let me first say that I work next door and have been frequenting 2P for 6 years now. In that 6 years, I’ve eaten a lot of special slices, Caprese salads, side salads, and Italian wedding soups. When I recently had a touch of a hangover after my birthday, I had a steak and cheese. Everything is good at Two Paisans. Their pizza is the best in the area, without a doubt– if you’ve only ever had it for lunch, try picking one up for dinner, because their whole pizzas are even better than lunch slices. That’s my real review, Two Paisans is terrific. But that’s not why I felt compelled to resume Unilocaling again several years after deleting all of my reviews and going off the Unilocal grid. Carl is the best local business owner around. He’s friendly, he’s hilarious, and even if his food sucked(which it definitely does not), his personality would be enough to keep coming back. Here’s a story about Carl. Yesterday I posted a picture of a Necronomicon pizza I found online, to Carl’s Facebook(told him it was a «menu suggestion»). Today I get a call from the reception desk at work telling me to come out to the front desk and pick up my pizza. «But I didn’t order a pizza.» I was told to get my ass out to the front desk. When I got there, I found Carl standing there grinning with a pizza box.(I had a Brad Pitt«WHAT’S INTHEBOX?!?» moment.) When I opened it, I found this: Yes, Carl made me my very own Necronomicon pizza. So here I am, telling the world, that Two Paisans not only makes great food, but Carl is fucking awesome. I can’t even eat the pizza right now, it’s too beautiful — it needs to be dipped in gold and displayed on a mantel like an Academy Award. Word spread around my office and people are coming to my desk to see it in person. I’m slightly nervous about the evil implications of eating a Necronomicon pizza… but my work friends are going to help me eat it this afternoon. I am positive it will be delicious in addition to being the funniest thing I have ever seen, and probably only slightly evil.

Finally found a place in MA where I love the dough! Love the spicy balls, they’re a must if you’re having dinner. The Sinatra Salad with oil to the side was the prefect end to my night. Michelob ultra(Diet coke to my big mac) was also a plus. The staff are super friendly and nice as well. Very attentive and helpful.

Carl, you so funny Oil on the tables; good deal Great Caesar dressing There’s not a lot to remark on in any local townie pizza joint. They’re basically all the same, occasionally good food, under $ 10, blah blah blah. If you should happen in here when the owner, Carl, is working, none of that will matter. He is what you imagine Bostonians to be; brusque, brash, and hilarious. He jokes with you when he can, turns up songs he likes on the stereo, and generally seems to be enjoying himself. Oh yeah, the foods pretty good too. Stopped in here an hour before closing and ordered a caesar salad, curly fries, and a small pizza. The Caesar dressing is made in-house and it’s amazing; there’s just enough of it to coat the salad, but not to drown it. Always a bonus. The portions are big enough for two, it’s definitely worth the price. I asked Carl what’s his favorite pizza, and after much tomfoolery and horseplay, he said he’s a big fan of the Melanzane. Which I then ordered. If it’s good enough for the owner it’s good enough for me. And it was damn good. There’s eggplant, spinach, red onion and dollops of ricotta. Everything blends well, the ricotta isn’t overpowering, and the crust was thin but not burnt. It’s even good cold(see for reference: breakfast.) Total bill came to $ 30, including two Rolling Rocks. $ 30 for dinner and breakfast(without the Rolling Rock) ain’t a bad deal in my book.
