Jus Smokin Hillbilly BBQ

This BBQ is really good! We’ve tried the pulled pork, brisket and the wings. All DELICIOUS! My only complaint is that they aren’t near our house every day! After speaking with them, they seem to be gluten free. I had no bad reactions after eating! Even better, if you want bbq sauce they have Sweet Baby Rays, which is also gluten free.

This truck was out in the parking lot at my job in Mason. I stopped and got a pulled pork sandwich, baked beans, and slaw.
The pulled pork was moist and had a great flavor even without the sauce. As for the sauce, there was an assortment of Sweet Baby Ray’s barbeque sauces — I happen to like Sweet Baby Ray’s sauces.
The baked beans — they were ok. They tasted like canned beans. And they added pulled pork (I hope) to the beans.
The slaw — well, I didn’t like the slaw. But I am not a fan of slaw as a side item. I tend to put the slaw on sandwich and use it like a condiment.
If I saw the truck again, would I stop for lunch? Yes — I would like to try other meats on th the menu. But I am not sure I would purchase the side items other than a bag of chips. Hey, the meat was good — well, at least the pulled pork.

You want BBQ? This is the place to go! Brisket is delicious and not fatty like other local places. Prices are more than fair for the amount of food and quality warrants charging more. Owner is friendly, informative, and great asset to area as an independently owned food truck. I look forward to spring and get sad when the winter arrives as it is the sign of no more tasty BBQ! I have taken everyone here when they come out to visit and all say the same… amazing brisket! Tired of the same old local places or chains with terrible service and long waits? Go here, fresh food!!!

The food is okay, not great. The attitude was awful not even good. He seemed offended or that I was interrupting his nap when asking a out the food. Even worse first time he was out of brisket when I asked and I declined any other option that’s all I wanted at that point. He just couldn’t believe that I wasn’t going to get something else. Neither time was there a line. I will definitely never go back.

I would say this is good smoke for a mass produced food. However, I smoke better in my back yard. Would I go back. Sure. I don’t always have time to smoke in the back yard.

Best Ribs EVER. Fall off the bone melt in your mouth and you don’t need sauce ribs.

Overall a pretty good BBQ food truck! They always have pulled pork and brisket in addition to baked beans and slaw. Prices are fairly reasonable as well, around $ 6 a sandwich.
