Love to eat here with my kids. Great food, great service, great prices. And free ice cream! Today I had the tuna muffuletta sandwich and it was delicious.

Can’t go wrong with free ice cream with every meal. Their sandwiches are really good. I wish they were a little larger. If you get a soup and sandwich combo the sandwich half is usually on the smaller side. The Big Joey is the best.

Meh… I’ll give Jason’s deli 4 stars but I’d really prefer to give them 3.5. I was in the mood for a wrap and decided to order the Papa Joe(on a wrap vs bread) with regular chips. My wrap was only 75% full but had pretty good flavor. The chips was fresh and not burned and accompanied the menu well. The not so bad is the impression you receive walking in the door. This was my first visit and I was not greeted and not acknowledged while waiting at the register for at least 3 minutes. I arrived on a Friday morning at 10:55, and was the only patron in the establishment. Their was employees to my right and left but no acknowledgement and no one was preoccupied with answering the phones either. Luckily for me, out of nowhere Angelo appeared, greeted me, took my order and sent me on my way. That was a blessing after being ignored by everyone else. The ice cream machine was not configured properly as it was a liquid mess. Not sure if this is customary or not but no cones were available either.

One of my favorite places to grab a quick lunch. A little pricey but I think the food is worth it. We’ve had quite a few things here and my favorites are the roast beef sandwiches and the gumbo. The staff here is really friendly and helpful too and will bring your food out to your table.(They must ship their employees in from another state!)

I go here mainly for business lunches and the free ice cream. It’s loud and can get busy at peak times

Jason’s, we need to talk. I know you’re surprised at a three star review since we rendezvous at least twice a week. Yes, your baked potatoes are beyond amazing. Your sandwiches are so big and fresh and thank you so much for offering gluten free bread and making sure your salad bar is constantly being freshened. Your restaurant can get a little crowded and noisy but it’s always clean and well lit. So, why the two missing stars? Well, your manager(I assume he is the manager because he wears a button down while the other employees wear polos) seems to take joy in being a condescending jerk. Last week, I, a very regular customer, asked for a child’s size potato. I mean, you have to admit your potatoes are huge and calorific! However, the manager asked if it was for me. Yes. He said he could not give me the child’s potato, I had to get the lighter portion of the regular potato, which according to the website is still 900 ish calories). Why should I have to order a bigger portion if I’m not going to eat it? And YOUCAN’T? I mean, is someone checking up on these things? Today, I asked for my sandwich on gluten free toast. He smirked, «oh, so that’s just a preference, then?» No, I do not have Celiac disease, so small amounts of gluten(such as a shared grill or toaster) don’t bother me, but that doesn’t mean I PREFER gluten free bread. No one prefers gluten free bread! It’s a necessity for me too. I also did not decide to have three bowel surgeries for fun. I understand, a lot of people don’t get the distinctions, but if you’re going to offer gluten free food, you need to make sure your employees are educated.

I loved this place from the get go. I ordered from here about a week ago, I got all the way home and my sandwiches were not what I had ordered. At first I was just going to chalk it up. I didn’t feel like the 20 minute drive to make the exchange. I called I was greeted by a pleasant manager by the name of DAX who went right into the computer, pulled up my order. He apologized told me to come in when I felt like it. We decided to go in later that night for dinner. DAX was still on duty not only did he make our meals over but he also gave us a gift card to come back an eat on the house! Way to go Jason’s Deli great customer service

This is a very good deli, the sandwiches and salads are fresh, the chili is hot and the deserts are great! Servers are welcoming, patient and knowledgeable about their menu. There’s plenty of space to dine-in and not feel your sitting on top of another group while your eating. Overall this Deli provides a great experience!

I love this place. The fact, that it is the same salad bar every time you come is is kind of reassuring. The veggies are crisp, the toppings are good and there is a wide selection of dressings. Always have the hard boiled egg to go along with your salad and save room for the banana pudding for dessert. My only complaint is watching the dirt bags who come in, don’t buy anything and steal the free ice cream and then, walk out.

Free ice cream at 10 am. Enough said. Salad bar is fresh and full of great options and I love how the calories are printed on the menu. Only complaint is that there isn’t one in New England!

I have liked Jason’s Deli from the get go. I like that they have a pretty salad bar and free ice cream, even if it is that weird«I came in a bag» soft serve that you get on cruise ships. It’s still very nice of them. Sandwiches are always pretty good and they’re open until 10. I came here on day 2 of my 30 day Paleo-ish cleanse because I knew on the go I could have a salad with plenty of veggies and just olive oil and balsamic and add a protein. It’s hard to find a place that you can work with when your diet is restrictive. The manager came around and gave us strawberry shortcake because it was the end of the night. I was proud of myself for not eating it. Ha ha ha.

This place gets knocked down 2 stars for being one of the dirtiest restaurants I have ever been in. I probably go to this Jason’s 2 – 3 times a month. It’s hit or miss if it will be clean. Their dishwasher must really really suck, I constantly get dirty salad bowls and have to ask for clean ones. They reuse trays without cleaning them. I always get trays with other peoples food on it. Doesn’t seem they have enough employees to keep the floor and tables clean, they are usually dirty. That being said, for some reason I keep coming back for the salad bar and free ice cream.

We decided to stop here after my doctor appointment. This was our first visit so we didn’t exactly know what to expect however the waitress was very knowledgeable and very helpful. She recommended the New York Yankee sandwich for Chan which was the sandwich that I was looking for hot pastrami, corned beef, on rye with mustard and provolone cheese absolutely delicious. Nice clean friendly atmosphere and free ice cream! Yummy. So if you’re in the Timonium area stop by you’ll be glad you did. Channing’s Choice.

OK. Nothing special, but good healthy food option. Better than most deli type options in the Timonium area. Good for bringing kids, but not nearly enough high chairs which we found to be an issue. Free ice cream.

5 Stars for To-Go service and to-go food! I never have been to or heard of a Jason’s Deli before, but after driving by this place multiple times, since its right of York Road, I have been wanting to give it a try. Today was that day! I LOVE how they have a completely separate entrance and register for to-go customers only… hallelujah moment because I went WAY over on my lunch break time today so that was a relief considering the line was pretty long for dine-in. And they were quick to get me my food. At the register I was debating between the Amy O’s turkey sandwich or the California Club, after a quick debate with Jacqueline, who was working the register, she recommended the California Club, I also knew that my friend Allison L. recommended it on here, so that is what I got! California Club: Turkey Swiss Bacon Guacamole Lettuce Tomato Mayo ON A CROISSANT! It also came with a side, there were a lot to choose from, but I got the guacamole and tortilla chips(no extra charge for this, btw) Total was $ 7.52 Seriously the whole time I was eating I was saying to myself«omg that’s good!» The turkey was very fresh and the guac was too(I have to admit this guac is in close comparison to Chipotle and that is saying a lot!). I was in guac, turkey, bacon and croissant heaven. And, I thought that the sandwich being on a croissant wouldn’t fill me, but I almost couldn’t finish everything! I definitely will be back next time I am in the area. I am also kinda sad that they only have an average of 3 stars, it deserves 4 at least!

Jason’s Deli is like a casual version of Nordstrom’s Café. The process is the same. Order at the counter, get a number, pick a table, server delivers food when it’s ready. If you’re looking for simple, fast, and good, it works very well. The food options are plentiful as the menu has everything from salads(they have a full salad bar), to sandwiches, to entrees. The quantities are great, and the ingredients seem very fresh all of the time. They have a variety of cakes and fruits for dessert, and there coffee and tea complimenting a full fountain soda and juice bar. The BEST part about Jason’s Deli is everyone gets free ice cream! Yup. Cones, bowls, soft serve. If you go, do it to it. The location is easy to get to, right off of York Road with a spacious parking lot. The dining area is quite large too, with plenty of seating. It’s a great place for groups because you can easily slide tables and chairs around to fit 8 – 12 together. It’s no bother to other guests most nights. Overall, cheap and quick is done right here. I give them 4 stars for quality and quantity. To earn 5 stars they would have to improve the quality of their desserts, the quality of the dining room furniture(padded chairs), and the servers would have to fill and bring your beverages(something done at Nordstrom’s). Great place!

I’m a huge fan of Jason’s Deli, so I was pleasantly surprised to see one when I was at the fairgrounds for an event, and I stopped in for lunch. However, this location just didn’t live up to my expectations that I’ve developed from experiences at other locations. The service was friendly, so no complaints there. But the broccoli cheese soup was very watery and bland, as if they were trying to stretch it a bit further. And they really skimped on the chicken salad for my sandwich… I’d bet there was probably less than 2 Tbsp, all plopped in the center. When I tried to spread it out to cover the rest of the bread, it was so thin that I could barely taste it I’m not sure if this location is struggling financially and perhaps are trying to stretch their ingredients, but shortchanging your customers on quality is not the way to get them to come back.

Nice alternative option to Panera in the area where Sweet Husband Mine and I bowl. We’ve passed by it a thousand times, maybe a million, and we never realized what good things lay within. Well, we’ve educated ourselves. Overwhelming salad bar here full of really good and delicious options. The food was fresh — no «old» stuff here — and plentiful. I had just the unlimited salad bar — who needs more? — and SHM had a big, thick Reuben with a side salad. Not sure of how the sandwich tasted(he says it was really good), but the salad was just perfect. They have free soft-serve ice cream, which was actually a nice surprise(though, maybe, diet-wrecking) — it’s nothing remarkable, just plain old soft-serve, but somehow it goes down a treat. If you’re watching your calories like I am, this place will be just fine for you, though do watch your portions on the dressings and other things(the berry/nut mix is shockingly high). One plus for Jason’s — all of their items are nutritionally listed on their website in a very easy-to-read-and-understand format. We will definitely be back. Tip for Diabetics: Almost everything is safe here, especially your salad bar. Tons of options, including grilled chicken, hard boiled eggs, plenty of veggies. They have very small cups so that you can even partake of the ice cream, should you wish to. I can’t speak for the sandwiches, since I didn’t have to, but I can say that there’s more meat than bread, so it shouldn’t be too dangerous. As always… Disclaimer: I’m not a doctor. YMMV. Seek medical advice and tailor my review to your situation. I simply provide opinion.
