Subway

After a long day at work I stopped at the MidCity Mall Subway for a sandwich on the way home. It was 7:45. Closing hours posted on their door for Wednesday are 10:00. All the chairs were stacked on tables and Subway employee was ½ finished mopping the floor. I said, «Aren’t you open until 10:00?» She responded, «I’m closing early because it hasn’t been busy.» I walked out. Closing two hours earlier than posted closing time is not a good way to run a business. I have written Subway Customer Service.

The guys working were great. They were both very attentive and nice. There was a very demanding lady behind me with a dozen «special» requests. They guy waiting on her was very patient. I almost had to say something to her about her demands and how rude she was. My sandwich was great. They put the perfect amount of veggies and sauce on. The store was very clean and it looked like the staff really knows what they’re doing here.

This Subway location is amazing compared to the downtown locations. The staff is very quick and friendly and their dining facilities are always clean. The hours of operation are great, especially when you compare it to some of the downtown locations that close very early or aren’t even open on some days. This Subway is attached to Mid City Mall so not only can you grab something to eat, but you can also go see a movie at Baxter Avenue theaters or a comedy show at the Laughing Derby after your meal. Also, make sure to get a rewards card so you can earn points that are redeemable for different food options like a footlong sub or a cookie. I would definitely recommend stopping by if you are in the area.

Thank heavens subway is open at 7am! Otherwise, i would’ve skipped breakfast today and would’ve been a disgruntled feisty prick with just coffee.
