This place is amazing! We came in for diner but almost didn’t. The parking lot was empty and it was dinner time on a Friday night! Luckily we decided to try it anyway and it was a good decision. We started with the traditional chips and salsa. A staple for Mexican restaurants but here the chips and salsa were actually very good. Nice thick chips and a very flavorful salsa to dip them into. I had the shrimp fajitas for my entrée and they were amazing! Spiced just right with plenty of shrimp, onions and peppers. Even the flour tortillas, beans, rice, lettuce, guac and sour cream served with it were tasty. The order size was very decent for the price also($ 15). The service here was very good as well. Very friendly staff who wasted no time getting our drinks and food. The restaurant is very clean, roomy and nicely decorated. Even the restrooms were clean lol Anyway I don’t know why this place isn’t packed every night! Maybe the place here before them had a bad reputation or something? All I do know is that I will be returning here again if for nothing else but to try the Guacamole bar. Fresh made to order guacamole. I highly recommend giving them a try.

My family was in the area for an event and we couldn’t agree on where to eat. I then spotted this place and thought we would give it a try. The atmosphere is really cool. There weren’t many people but I read the last restaurant in this location was not thought well of and Olé Frijole is still new to the area and may not be well known yet. Anyway. We really liked both the mild and hot salsa to start off. My husband had the carnitas which he says were delicious. I had a combination meal, #24 which had a taco, tamale, and a burrito. I was excited to see this combo since I can never find a combo that has a tamale and a burrito anywhere else we go. It was all very good. My son chose a Frijole burrito which he said was really good(even though he was resistant to eating somewhere new, lol. Overall, we were very pleased with our experience and we would eat here again if we are in the area.

Just found out by noticing the sign change that this location had changed from Aztecas. The old place had some major issues. Seems like the new place is headed in the right direction. One reason I stopped going to Aztecas was the bathroom. It always smelled terrible, and it has old motion– detection sinks which were almost impossible to get to work. Talked to the new owner, and he has already made great strides. The bathroom today smelled very clean. If you ever went to the old restaurant and used the restroom, you will know that is a major improvement. Owner Miguel is friendly and has a great attitude, and is very open to suggestions. Haven’t eaten here yet, except for chips and salsa(which were good). Margaritas were good. So this is more of an «improvement review» than a «normal review», but I look forward to checking out more of what Olé Frijoles has to offer.

This restaurant used to be Aztecas. So glad it’s now Olé Frijoles. Much better service and food quality. We were seated right away, it was kinda dead, maybe the word isn’t out yet that it’s a new place now. I had the rellenos and they were delicious. My husband had the tacos with beans and rice. Everything was delicious. We will be back– lots of items on the menu I want to try.
