I’m not sure if there have been a lot of changes since previous reviews but I had a wonderful experience each time I have shopped here(about 3x). The staff were kind, store clean, GREAT variety of interesting things, booths were in order so you can actually see everything in them, some very nice things, some awesome prices. I mean, I got a big, heavy lion’s head wall-plaque thingie with a reservoir at the bottom, think exotic Marrakech wall fountain for $ 10 and I can’t wait to hang it up bc it will look fabu in my big ol’ haunted victorian. Beautiful lamps, throw pillows, etc. Most things were not antiques. But this place is not to be compared to a peddler’s mall. Those are super junky, this place is quite lovely. Maybe it was crappy in the past but I think possibly management or ownership has changed between previous reviews and the last 6 months. This is one of my fave places to get used stuff :)

Kind of caught this store while driving through the area and decided to stop in. We are always in the mood to walk through an antique store and/or consignment shop. The store is pretty big and did remind us of a Peddlers Mall. The prices were a bit on the high side and we didn’t see anything spectacular. That’s not to say the items being sold were bad… we just didn’t find anything that stood out enough for us to buy. Sure there were a few items we bought but nothing that we wouldn’t find at another Peddlers Mall and/or flea market. Don’t get me wrong, Consignments Plus is a good store, but because the prices were a bit high and since we didn’t find many things of interest… I don’t think we’ll come back anytime soon.

Come on now, we need to get this place’s rating up. This is a high quality Peddler’s Mall — lots of furniture, many pieces we seriously considered. The only issue for us were the prices — I’d say the average item, big or small, was more expensive than what you could buckle down and find after looking at several Peddler’s Malls or flea markets throughout the month, which is a bummer. Still, we’ll most likely go back to see what’s new in the future.

I disagree with the previous comment about this store. Recently, I walked in to this store, as I kept seeing signs for a month or two. I was thinking it would be a furniture/bedding type of store. When I walked in, I was very pleased. Yes, this is a type of Peddler Mall, but it is very nice. The store is very clean, has pretty antiques, furnishings, and some newer items. No, you aren’t going to get all new items, as this is similar to the nice/higher end vendor malls I frequent in Middletown area. Just walking around, I found several nice hand made gifts, vintage furniture, and jewelry at affordable prices. Each booth, was clean, attractive, and I didn’t see the run-down booths, dirty flooring, lingering cigarette smells that i often find at the other vendor type of locations. Seriously, this place is nice, clean, and has many nice things to offer. I feel bad that it got a 1 rating… I give it a 5!

My girlfriend and I are constantly on the look-out for antique/consignment stores around Louisville. I recently found an add on craigslist for something and it mentioned that it was here at Consignment Plus. Like I always do, I wrote down the name and address so I could check it out. I went today by myself to scout it out and see if it was a place to add to our list that we try to hit every few months. Boy was I disappointed. This store is basically a cheap flea market where you can buy used or new outdated random junk. Some booth’s actually had some antiques and/or unique retro/vintage items but for the most part it was all just junk. I remember walking out and seeing someone walk in with and grab a shopping cart and thinking«this is the type of place that a hoarder would love.» Overall I give it: Size = 5 — the place was pretty big and did have a lot of space Antiques = 1 — almost nothing was a true antique Value = 1 — a lot of stuff was very over priced, especially the furniture in the back Overall = 1 — just way too much junk, stuff that came from the back of a truck and you see for sale at the Expo center flea markets. A few random booth’s did have some ok stuff but not enough to make up for the loads of crap. It truly looks like they raided a hoarders house and took everything out and put it out neatly for people to buy. I wouldn’t bother unless your in the area and you feel you just need to check it out for yourself.
