i went to nu-​yale, because it’s on my way home from work. it turns out that was a great gift! my dress was ready in less than 24 hours and all of the greasy stains i got all over it were gone. friendly and efficient: i’ll take it!

I’ve been leaving bags full of shirts to be cleaned every couple of weeks for the last six months. Every time I’ve gone to pick them up some of the shirts have had to be sent back because of issues with the pressing or broken buttons. They’ve pressed wrinkles into my clothes at least 20 times in the last 6 months and broken at least 5 buttons on dress shirts. The staff is super friendly and easy to deal with but clearly something isn’t working in the factory. It’s amazing how they force you to pay for your clothes before showing them to you. Plus — it costs $ 3.00 per shirt. Don’t waste your money with these people.

I took three coats to be cleaned and two of them came back satisfactory. The third came back covered in animal hair and so much smaller than when I dropped it off that I could not get my arms in my sleeves. I was offered a lint roller if I brought it back that evening. I was unhappy with this solution. In regards to the shrinkage, I was told that the coat had been analyzed and was deemed to have no signs of shrinkage and wasn’t offered so much as an apology. I will not be returning to this business because when they ruin your clothes there is no accountability.

This location of Nu-​Yale Cleaners has become my dry cleaner of choice.
This decision is partially influenced by the fact that they’re close to my home but more so they have great customer service.
I drop off my clothes quickly via a drive-​through. They also have a covered parking area in case it’s raining, which is nice.
All of the employees have been friendly, quick and helpful. My clothes have turned out great. And while I am usually told that my clothes will be ready after 5 p.m. the following day, they’ve always been done sooner than that. And I know this because they send me an email when my clothes are ready.
Nu-​Yale also frequently emails coupons and have been involved with some great philanthropic efforts around town.
All in all, a great dry cleaner!

LOVE this place! They must know my car now because my clothes are set out before I walk in the door! (which is also awesome considering my twin sister comes here too and they know which twin I am!) The fact that they are «green» makes them even better and better for my clothes. Forget cheap wire hangers which are bad for silk tops, there plastic hangers could actually be reused! Just moved to a different neighborhood but will still be using them because of how awesome they are!

Quick turnaround (it’s always one day for me), professional, and friendly. I’ve never had a problem with them. It costs a little more, but I trust them with my more valuable pieces.
They also have monthly specials on their website, so make sure you check it out before you go in. And sometimes coupons print out with your receipt!

Best dry cleaners in Louisville. Excellent service, perhaps a bit pricier, but compared to Highland Cleaners, these guys are all stars. Never lost a shirt here, they’ve replaced buttons (instead of ripping them off), and I left my iPod in my pants one time and they took care of it.
Great place — check out the one near Grinstead & Lexington
