The kids and I go there and always eat good burgers and their carrot cake is wonderful. I would go just for that. The service is okay not the best. The spinach dip is good and so are the sweet potato fries.

Unfortunately we won’t be back – well, until it becomes LeMoo and we’ll start a new report card. It’s close to the house and there is lots of parking so it’s just easy, but the food has not improved, or necessarily changed in the last 20 years(except it is more expensive recently). Fried chicken, mashed potatoes and green beans with a home-made, over-to-top honey drizzled croissant… you get the picture. Beer on tap is acceptable but the white wine selection very limited. I don’t want to be served a ten dollar a bottle wine in a wine glass heavier than a jelly jar. At least give me some options to give you more money with a higher-per-glass-wine. Last time the service was so bad – messed up order – grumbling by the staff, arguing behind the bar – we just checked it off the list. The whole place is beyond dated so here’s to LeMoo and the next chapter in this well-situationed establishment.

The only reason I keep coming back is that the group I dine with on Monday nights really like this place. And it was never bad, just never great. It is under new management now, as of quite recently, and I’m not super excited about the changes they have made so far. No more curly fries makes me sad. Meals are way more expensive(my usual went from $ 10 to $ 13…and sure it comes with an extra side… that I don’t want, or need, or that in anyway makes up for the price hike). Thank goodness that for the time being they still get the ingredients to make the cherry cosmo… or everything I like about the place would have vanished by now. And with new management, they no longer accept the 2015 Highlands Card. I bought the Highlands Card primarily because my dining group frequents the Tap Room Grill and KT’s so often. If the deal had been made before I bought the card… I might not have gotten it. That is how often we come here. We’ll see if we come here as often with these changes and the rise in prices.

KT’s was a cool spot. My Wife & I went to celebrate a close friend’s birthday and after reading previous reviews we were looking forward to dining out at this spot. It wasn’t the biggest party. About 8 – 10 people at max… And we had a waitress that was trying to hard to show hospitality but I guess it could be worse. It took a while for us to get waited on to getting drinks and appetizers… And the restaurant wasn’t that busy IMO. That lost a star for me. For an app we had the spinach queso dip, I was hoping it tasted better and my wife & I love spinach queso… We didn’t finish it. Our main entrée were the Chicken pasta and I had the Marks Sirloin & Red skin mash potatoes. The chicken pasta look good and my wife said she really enjoyed it and the sirloin was very tasty. Grilled and drizzled in bourbon sauce with just the bit of crunch to it. Don’t forget to their crosswinds that was one of the best things lol. Overall an cool restaurant with a decent vibe and good food. We would come back.

We were regulars when KTs opened back in the 1980s. Nothing much has changed since then except for how busy they are. It used to be very busy, but now it is quiet even on weekends. The food is still good but the décor and atmosphere needs to be updated. I really like the house salad, American Melt, and KT curls. I think with a few fresh ideas regarding menu and ambience this place could be popular again.

The food at KT’s is very good, however the atmosphere could really use some work. KT’s was once a very popular local place. Unfortunately little has been done to update the décor over the last 20 years or so. On the other hand the food is still great. It is clear that they use quality meat and other ingredients. I love the makers mark bourbon steak with Mashed potatoes. Wonderful and house salad with house made dressings and croissants. Despite the dated atmosphere the food is good enough to earn it 4 stars in my book.

The best thing about KT’s is their $ 2 double mimosas on Sundays. However their bruch is good too with decent sized portions. I love the side of potato casserole, grits and the sweet croissant. They have a really great tasting burger and chicken salad sandwich. Only down fall is on holidays you have to get their buffet as they don’t have a normal menu available.

My family and I came here on Father’s Day — we had 13 of us. Luckily my mom put in a reservation and we were sat right after we walked in the door. Our waitress came up right away and got drinks ordered which I really like. I ordered the Peach Tea Moonshine(totally not the actual name, I’m making it up because I can’t remember) which was good, not great. She took the food order and soups and salads came out(which I didn’t get either of). My dad did get the broccoli cheddar soup which the broccoli was really large but he said it tasted good. Our main course took a little longer(but that might be because I didn’t order a salad so I was hungry). I got the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and green beans. The meatloaf was delicious! Very tender and the sauce on top was sweet. The mashed potatoes didn’t come with gravy which was a little disappointing but they were still good — the red skinned kind with the skins left on :) YUM! The green beans were alright. And then everyone gets a croissant with their meal. Over all it was delicious and I’d order it again. Now since it was Father’s Day my grandpa ordered the Chip off the Old Block Ice Cream Sandwich which was ginormous! And yummy: D They put a massive amount of ice cream in between two massive cookies and then coat the outside in chocolate. WOW!

I LOVE Kts. Everything about this place. Is great Comfortable atmosphere, good food, good portions, big outdoor patio and great service. I would highly recommend getting the spinach queso to start off with. It’s crazy good and it’s quite a bit of queso. For a meal, I always go with the country club. It’s big and comes with their delicious honey mustard. If you’re looking for something other than a sandwich, go with the sirloin or the salmon, they’re both great. I also love sitting at the bar, Tracy is the best bartender in town. She makes great drinks and is so warm and friendly. The service is top notch at Kt’s. Super friendly and helpful. You should definitely request either Patrick or Cody. They’re super cool guys. They always have a big smile on their face and will do ANYTHING you need without hesitation. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience in the highlands area.

Chain but ok to meet a great friend and have queso and soup. Service was great and I really love the fact that they will accommodate a large party for birthday celebrations. The party next to us was celebrating and they had an awesome time. The restaurant has a bar and the drinks are sublime and made well. My girlfriend, Nina, loves this local place and will invite me to eat there whenever she is in town. They know her well and are always accommodating. Great salads as well.

The food is usually pretty good but the server must have been new because she screwed things up. We will go back and hopefully she ahs been trained and know what to do. I will write another review if things go better next time.

I’ve only been once and it was fine. I got the meatloaf and I enjoyed it. Our server was very friendly and quick. The interior seemed kind of dark and depressing though and the food just wasn’t very exciting. With so many other great choices within a few miles, I can’t really see myself returning.

I went to KT’s for lunch on 8÷1÷13. A co-worker chose this place and said he hasn’t eaten there in a while, but he’s always enjoyed it, and they have really good broccoli cheese soup. So I checked the menu online on their own website before we went, and saw several burgers that looked good, settling finally on the grilled portabella veggie burger: «Marinated and grilled portabella mushroom, zucchini, yellow squash, and roasted bell peppers topped with provolone cheese. Served on a brioche bun with a side of pesto mayo. 7.99». When we got there, I ordered my veggie burger, and quickly realized I should’ve looked over the menu more carefully. Sure, veggie burger was still there, but it was a completely different item than what I saw online. I grabbed a take home menu on my way out to be able to copy the new description: «Grilled and served on a whole wheat bun with tomato, onion and lettuce. 8.99». What I got when my plate came honestly looked like someone opened a box of frozen Boca Burgers, heated it up, and put it on a whole wheat bun straight out of the Colonial package, along with a slice of lettuce, a couple pickles, lettuce and onions. The burger tasted fine, just like the ones I make at home myself in the microwave, but I was incredibly disappointed. I know I’m going to get people thinking that it’s my fault for not making sure the menu hadn’t changed. But seriously, I got this off their company website, and the veggie burger is even listed in the exact same place, just with a different description/price. Oh, and the co-worker that raved about their broccoli cheese soup ordered a cup of it. He ate less than a third(of the cup, not bowl, mind you). He told the waitress it’s not as good as he remembered. She said, «yeah, it changes sometimes». I might have given them 3 stars for serving me a $ 9 boca burger. But the evidence of diminishing the quality of their menu while raising prices makes a 2-star the best I can do. If it weren’t for the chips(which were great), it might have been a 1-star.

Went here recently for a family celebration, the food was ok but nothing memorable, the atmosphere was more enjoyable than the food. I had the veggie burger which was average, apparently they had just switched(that day) from homemade veggie burgers to the typical garden burgers, too bad for me! Not a lot of other vegetarian options on the menu. This place is in a great location – at the edge of a large park – and the interior décor reflects that, lots of wood and exposed brick as well as photos from the park. Very nice.

Upside they have a Patio. I always try to stick to the constructive criticism format of positive, negative, positive. Having gotten my initial positive out of the way, I have a lot of criticisms. This place has the feel of an O’Charley’s chain, but like O’ Charley’s there is too much going on. The menu has a lot of classic neutral dishes. The wait staff was there, but not amazing. The food was unseasoned and luke warm. I love read meat, but when the 10 oz Bourbon Sirloin came to the table I took two bites and stopped. The sirloin cut was not a good grade, had no bourbon flavor, and it was dried out like someone reheated it. Great news is they give you a ton of buttered croissants! You get these tasty croissants covered in a honey butter glaze when you order a side salad, before your meal, and with each entrée. Next time when I want neutral chain food, I’ll just go to O’Charley’s.

Just ok. Its exactly what you would expect from any old chain bar and grill. Standard chain bar, standard chain food, and actually less than standard chain service. Great location, and could be a really nice resteraunt– if only it had an ounce of character.

We got carry-out for lunch from KT’s — ordered the Strawberry Pecan Salad(with Salmon) and Bourbon BBQ Platter(Boneless chicken breast with loin back ribs). Both were excellent, as were the croissants that came with the meals. When I went to pick up the food, I was impressed with the friendly service and the delightful ambiance. I’d like to go to KT’s for lunch or dinner one day, and try the traditional hot brown(which looks unhealthily appetizing) and some of the country-style dishes.
