Very clean hotel, friendly staff. The rooms were nice and clean. The hotel is in a good location, close to the interstate and several restaurants. Several items for breakfast. I will stay here again. I made a second visit at La Quinta it is still very clean and the staff very friendly.

I stayed at this La Quinta in June 2015 and my experience was great. I saw some poor reviews; however, during my stay, I got nothing but great friendly service! I worked with 2 employees during my stay. Sadly I forget their names, but, a man checked me in, and was very helpful. We had a problem with our room where our door just didn’t seem to line up well to close. Without a question he moved us one room down. A nice lady helped me check out and she was also very nice. Sadly I slept past the free breakfast, but, I have stayed at many La Quinta’s and it’s usually your standard buffet breakfast which isn’t bad at all, and best of all, free! Although I missed breakfast at the hotel, luckily there are many restaurants very close by! Cracker Barrel was where I went for breakfast, and there is also a seafood place and many other choices nearby! One thing I love about La Quinta’s is their pet policy! FREE! I travel with my dog and sometimes my dog & cat. Some hotels charge insane amounts for pets! I am happy every time I can find a La Quinta in the towns I am staying so I don’t have to pay tons extra for having a dog. Overall, the building and rooms are standard La Quinta. Basic, but clean. At under $ 100 per night, with pets, this is my go to hotel!

Avoid this hotel. I travel for my job often. I booked a night but cancelled by calling in advance. The lady at the desk Accepted my cancellation. I was then charged. I called and spoke to the owner who said he was sorry about that and offered a free night for me at any future date. I then booked the room and was told by David that the owner would not honor his word due to my not having a paid night attached to it. This was after I had been charged for not even staying there. Terrible customer service and terrible experience. This hotel is officially off my list of options for the great city of Louisville. I see other bad reviews on here and wish I would’ve read these earlier. Stay away. There are much better options available.

Not only is this a clean, convenient hotel, but the staff is also first rate. We stay at this hotel about 4 times a year. During our last stay we forgot a pair of shoes in the room. When we realized that we had forgotten the shoes, we called back to the hotel and talked to Gary who informed us that he had mailed the shoes back to us at his expense. Thank you Gary for the«above and beyond» customer service! Highly recommend this hotel!

This LaQuinta is an excellent value-oriented property with clean, comfortable rooms including refrigerator and microwave. Front desk was very accommodating. We brought kids once and they enjoyed the small indoor pool. While this is not the newest LQ décor it is nice and not dated. There are 2 chain restaurants on the same road and plenty of fast food around. I use this one when I need to be in East Louisville. Of course it is pet friendly with a very reasonable pet policy. The breakfast is standard LQ fare of fruit, cereal, waffles, and those prepared eggs with pastries. By booking well in advance I found rates very favorable.

David Kloop is the manager at this location and could use some schooling on his social skills. We witnessed some bad behavior while he was checking in a guest prior to us. And, while I came in to the building during the middle of the discussion. I quickly realized when he was checking us in that this guy obviously hates his job. Too We’re very clean — appears to be a new hotel, breakfast each morning was excellent. But even after a week — David had a very poor attitude. We won’t stay at this location again.

My husband and I have stayed in multiple La Quintas and this is one of the BEST ones we’ve stayed in. We stayed in a suite so we had a pull out couch. We didn’t use it but it was nice to have a little sitting area. We also traveled with our 2 pets, one cat and one dog and they welcomed them but told us to come through the side door so we wouldn’t disturb anyone. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the staff that waited on us was spectacular!

Pros: Pet friendly, comfortable beds, ok continental breakfast, and decent rate. Cons: Rude staff, zero water pressure, and a filthy indoor pool that smelled like creek water and looked like an outdoor pool that had not been cleaned in 15 years. Upon check in we had to yell for the clerk to help us. She was unfriendly and acted like we were interrupting whatever she was doing in the back office. The clerk in the morning was just as rude. We love the La Quinta, but we won’t stay here again.

Avoid this place if you are a dog owner and don’t want to be treated like fourth class. When my wife and I checked in with our ten pound beast last Saturday, we were informed by «Doug» at the front desk that we were not allowed to enter the hotel through the main door with our dog. Rather, we were told, that we were to enter through a side door and we were not allowed to use the elevator. We completely ignored Doug, of course and entered all we liked – with our dog in tow – through the main entrance. I have never been treated like this anywhere I’ve stayed. Ever. It was incredibly insulting, particularly when La Quinta advertises themselves as «pet friendly.» To add insult to injury, this second rate hotel is very over priced. One note: there are two Doug’s here. The Doug we dealt with is just a front desk clerk. The other Doug is apparently a manager. He was not on-site during our stay, but he will be getting an earful. We won’t ever be back.

Not a bad place. Just a good hotel room with nothing spectacular. The free wifi either work great or terrible. Good for dogs. Free continental breakfast. Not bad for the value.

We try to always stay at La Quinta because we travel with our Aussie Shepherd. This one is one of the best, very nice rooms and very clean. Staff is very nice and helpful and the breakfast is great for travelers. There is a large field behind the hotel that is great to let our dog run after a long day in the car. And plenty of great places to eat very close, love this area.

LOVELOVELOVE this La Quinta… We had a room reserved with double beds because at the time that is all they had but when we checked in they had a King Suite available and needed our double bed room so they upgraded us for free. This room was amazing!!! It had a jacuzzi tub, fridge, microwave, the works. The bed was real soft and the room was extra clean. I really liked that the area around the hotel was really clean and nice. Plenty of restaurants to choose from. If I ever pass thru again I would love to stay here again.

The quality of La Quinta’s varies widely. Yes, this one does have the comfortable beds and for that I’ll give it the two stars. However, there is practically NO water pressure, at least not in room 215. There were children running screaming down the hall by 9am — Hey, you little urchins, it is six in the friggin’ morning in California! Then a half hour later the maids knock on your door and yell«Housekeeping», like there is no way to give them a print out of the people who have already checked out. They want you out of there. Their reported fitness center is apparently a room with two machines. . but I never saw it(and I looked). The front desk is not particularly friendly. I mean, I was standing in line to check in and he answered a phone call ahead of me. Hello? I’m actually here in the flesh — if I started ringing annoyingly would you afford me a higher priority? I said something. . as nicely as I could and he obliged but noted that he just hoped the person on hold didn’t hang up. Oh. . that’s right, you already HAVE my money. What really galled me is that I’d switched from the Downtown Hyatt to save a few bucks on my last night in town. I literally saved $ 23 on the room. .. $ 13 on the parking. That means that for just $ 36 more dollars(shop through travelocity), you can be smack dab in the middle of downtown, have an actual fitness center open 24 hours on premise, a larger room, better bathroom, actually shower, 18 floor hotel. .. I mean, it is worth $ 36. This place isn’t awful but for over a $ 100 with tax on the very outskirts of Louisville, it should be A LOT better.
