I This hotel is a Hampton. In my opinion they are all at least a nice place to stay. This one is no exception. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There is a nice bar area in the front with microwave and refrigerator. There is a couch and coffee table. Nice place. The things that bring it down for me are maybe because of being spoiled in some nicer places. The room was small and very oddly arranged. It was like they remodeled a hotel that was not a Hampton to start. The plumbing was exposed under the sink and not in some cool steam punk way. It was exposed PVC pipe. Just odd out of sorts stuff. If your looking for a clean comfortable place to stay they place hits the mark. If your looking for a classic Hampton experience this may not be it. f you think I am picking on this place with 3 stars you need to see my review of the Owensboro Hampton.

Lovely people. I wanted to like this hotel except I got EATENALIVEBYBEDBUGS. Told them about this issue and they checked the room, only to have more bedbugs. BED. BUGS.

I stay at Hamptons all over the country and have had a good experience. This Hampton was understaffed. There was only one person after 8:00PM that had to do everything. She was not well trained and could not find the key to give us a rollaway bed. We eventually received the bed when she was relieved at 10:30PM. It seems ridiculous to expect one person to take care of the phones, guest needs, and anything else that arises.

Not at all like the previous review states. It was very clean, great breakfast, an awesome pool, and a friendly staff!

I’ve stayed in literally every Hampton Inn in Louisville and this is definitely my least preferred. The location is pretty far east — so depending on where you need to go(it’s right by the Papa John’s hq), that could be convenient or not. For me, not. It’s not convenient to downtown — or anywhere within the Watterson Expressway. However, the rooms are clean and have a fridge/micro combo. But the workout room is terrible! The equipment didn’t feel safe. I wondered why there was no one in there during peak times until I tried to go in for a workout. The treadmill was on its last leg, it stopped and jerked at each step. The elliptical was rickety and creaky. And no weights. There’s a Hilton Garden Inn across the street for a similar rate. If I’m in this area again, I would rather go there.
