I think shoes are extremely important so if it’s for a training shoe, I’m going to Footworks. It’s expensive, but after 45 minutes, trying on about eight different pairs of shoes, and finally finding a winner, Jason continued working with me to figure about inserts and ways to tie the shoe to support my activities. He never seemed rushed or tired of my difficult feet. There really is too much me on two little feet, but since I’ve gotten these new pumps, I’m already feeling better. The tennis shoes rang in at $ 130, I opted for a pair of new $ 10 socks and the non-removable inserts were $ 12. I could probably save $ 20 ordering off the internet, but I value my feet way too much and I want their advice to keep the dogs happy! I’ve got the 5K Anthem coming up. Unless you are really on a tight, tight budget, treat yourself and get incredible service and invaluable advice. Your feet will love you.

I used to go to footworks for all my shoes since high school. I went in for new running shoes recently and the services was subpar. The ladies made it seem I was more work than they wanted to deal with, the overall atmosphere felt like I was a major burden in their day. I brought my old shoes and they merely read my old size and brought out a single pair of the same size, no foot sizing or checking. No questions about what I run, how far, what I need shoes for, etc. nothing like what this place used to be. I can get online and pay much less for the service I received. I’ll be going to swags or another local running store next time where I’ll receive the customer service promised.

Highly recommend this place for getting tennis shoes. They really know about each of the shoes, and what is best for what activity and foot type. They measure your foot no matter what and are always super attentive to what you want. My dad is a podiatrist and he and my family all come here for shoes!
