Chop Shop Salads

I’ve had a couple interesting experiences here. The first time I went, there was a sign on the door saying they were closed for some sort of training, but that the St. Matthews location was open. So we went to the St. Matthews location — and it was also closed despite being listed as open. Another time, the place wasn’t ready for customers when we arrived despite allegedly opening an hour earlier — the staff had to clean up from the previous night’s crew before they could serve us. The last time, I had to wait nearly 10 minutes before someone took my order even though I was the only one in there, and they were out of several listed ingredients.
It’s a shame that this place seems so understaffed and disorganized, because I really like the food and the way it’s made. I should eat more salad, but sometimes it’s no fun to do all that chewing. Here, they chop everything up into small bites and toss all the ingredients for you. It’s crazy how much of a difference that makes in my enjoyment of a salad.
So I’d like to frequent this restaurant more often. But I’m not sure I can trust it to have its act together.

This used to be a really good place. The last few times I have been they have been understaffed resulting in very long waits. They seem to run out of major ingredients all the time. I wanted a cowboy club wrap, but they ran out of half the ingredients (including the tortilla wrap!!!).
They are always busy so I’m sure they won’t care, but I’m done with this place.

Good salad… lots options. I Like the chopping process which means I don’t have face full of lettuce when trying to eat civilized! And the salad is large! The staff were willing workers but sure could interact with customers in a more encouraging, uplifting, positive, thank-​filled manner.

I’ve eaten here twice for lunch. First time it took 30 minutes next it took 18 minutes to get my food. They really need more help at lunch.

Awesome food. I’ve had nearly all of the menu options as salads and wraps and love them all. Go to lunch and dinner spot! Customer service isn’t the greatest, but at least the food is good and consistent. YUM

Complete fail. The place closes at 9pm but according to the employees they close at 8:44pm. Besides keeping us waiting in the front the salad chef slammed our salad bowl on the counter and began to throw all the ingredients into our salad. When my husband pointed and asked what a particular ingredient was the employee yelled chicken at him, that’s when we decided it was time to leave. Never abuse food or paying loyal customers. We will never go back.

I thought I’d give this franchise a second chance at a different location since my experience at the Breckenridge location wasn’t the greatest. Apparently terrible planning is just a part of this place’s culture. I walked in between 2:30 and 3pm and they were again out of every protein but chicken! The guy behind the counter told me I could either wait 30mins for steak, or get a salad that used chicken. I left and went next door. Seriously guys learn how to stock your items and anticipate business!
